There's something about women singers/bands today...none of them truly understand how to just relax and rock out.

Some Audioslave is good...but Avril Lavigne, yeah. Some of her newer songs are pretty trashy.

Papa Roach is really icky, I've looked up some of his other songs on iTunes and they're all moany as well.

anything on the radio...MOST, there are of course tiny expections, mainstream bands sound the same and basically suck in general

That's brutal to say, they were voted one of the most orignal debut rock albums when it came out. Bam made them famous because (as I'm sure you had no idea) Jess Margera is in the band and that sBam's brother.
His Infernal Majesty does suck the big one though.
