There are some awesome bands with girls in them. [In my opinion, anyway. You might not agree with me...] Smashing Pumpkins [girl bassist], Tsunamibomb, Paramore [both girl singers], etc...
And I hate people who hate bands just because they got popular. I understand if you don't like their newer music or if you don't like them at all, but it's getting ridiculous. Some people say they hate [for example] Green Day just because they are popular. That's like saying that you hate a celebrity just because he or she is a celebrity.
Oh my god, yeah - what IS it with the Darkness? At first I liked them but seriously, that dude's voice could break glass. They're just a bit odd, and not nearly as original as they make out.
