Senra :

Senra concentrated as the eagle slowly landed and the Elite shifted to human form fighting against the shadow. It was easier to keep the shadow on the Elite and Senra took a moment to look around. All the other shadows had disappeared leaving the others to fight yet again. She bit her lower lip and moved her horse close to the Elite so she could stay close to her and keep her in the dark as she tried to help the others. She saw someone running from an soldier, Robin.

"ROBIN!" Senra yelled moving to the other side of the Elite who had stopped struggling and listened to her movements as if calculating an attack. Senra knew she wasn't going to be able to do much for the others unless she could knock the Elite out who would obviously be out to find her now. The Elites, unlike the soldiers, knew that fighting the darkness would do no good. Robin glanced at Senra and ran over.

"What?" Senra motioned for Robin to follow her to where the Elite couldnt' hear.

"WE need to knock her out. THat's the only way I'll be able to keep her in the darkness and help the others. Unless you want to warn me when she's about to attack me so I can't keep her in the dark." Senra said pulling a shadow across the soldier's eyes that had followed Robin. Senra grabbed her bow and arrow and shot the soldier through the neck.

Seline-

I could hear everything around me. The fighting the way it was, I had left my mind open, if only to warn the animals to stay away. A squirrel without the sense to run had heard Senra's words, and was now relaying them to me.

Leena needed to be knocked out. I couldn't do it, not magically at least. While Leena was human I was unable to control her mind. The others were facing solders of their own and couldn't get to her. I was useless in my current condition, unless....

I opened my mind farther and pushed my consciousness out. I skimmed over the small animals until I found what I was looking for: A black bear that had scrambled up a tree to avoid the fighting.

Bear-Friend, I need your help. I fought to keep my form human as I entered the bear's mind. An Animal-Sister has been captured, and she must be freed.

The bear, still young, responded. How can I help?

I sent her a picture of the situation, pointing out Leena. She must be stopped. Hit her over the head, and then vanish. I will explain what you have done.

The bear agreed and began moving through the forest. Soon, she stopped.

I probed deeper into her mind. There was a command, from Leena, stopping the bear. I shuddered, both in weariness and fear. There was only one way to make sure the bear would be able to finish the task.

Closing my mind to all other animals, I focused just on the bear. I entered her mind, brushing away all blocks to her actions. When I opened my eyes, I was in the bear's mind.

Let's go.

She picked up speed, going towards the clearing. Soon we saw Leena. It pained my heart to have to do this, but I had no choice.

The bear continued, and knocked Leena out.

Once Leena was still, the bear went to my body and licked it's cheek. The contact allowed me to shift minds easier, although it was far from painless. I was beginning to bruise, and my initial wounds had just gotten more painful.

I gasped and opened my eyes. Nobody was getting near me, for fear of the bear.

"Go," I whispered. "Your task is finished."

She licked my cheek again before running into the woods. I closed my mind to the animals around me, too weary to maintain any connection.

I heard somebody get closer, but my vision was too blurred to tell who.

I turned my head towards Leena. "I'll-- I'll be able to free her later. But, right now...." I trailed off, too weary to speak. I had used the last of my strength to contact the bear. It had only been a slight transfer of energy from the bear to me that had allowed me to open my eyes. That strength quickly running out, I let myself fall into darkness.

There are certain herbs that Animal people can use to control shape-sifting, including herbs to induce it. If one of those were given to the Elite, then Seline would be able to enter the more animal-mind and free Leena, or, if she couldn't, Seline would at least be able to find out what was trapping the Elite in the first place.

Sasha

Gasping, she wiped the sweat off of her face. She was taking down soldier after soldier, but she hasn't seen the nature Elite, Amie, yet. She hoped that she wouldn't see her.

Apparently, she had thought too soon, because, without warning, vines wrapped around Sasha. Her face turned red as they started squeezing.

"Let go!" She groaned.

The vines squeezed harder and harder until she couldn't breathe. She tried controlling them, but it was impossible. She couldn't focus.

Vincent

Vincent fought Cale off of him as whatever Robin had given him began to wear off. Able to walk, talk, and be quite perturbed, Vincent glared at Cale when he tried to hold him back.

"I am not a cripple," he hissed, finally getting Cale to let go of him.

"You're injured-"

"And if you do not let me go, they'll all be dead. Now stand down solider." Vincent shouted, surprising Cale. Normally cool and collective, Vincent rarely showed anger. Let alone called a swordsman, "solider".

At a standstill, Vincent stood staring in Cale's eyes, calculating. Would he let him go, or would he subdue him again? The answer was clear in his face as Vincent reached into his saddle bag. Vincent was a trained spy, Cale a trained swordsman. Neither would take the other down until they died from weariness.

Grabbing his throwing knives, Vincent ran back to the battle scene. A large bear stood above an unconcious eagle; Leena. Seline lay on the ground, obviously in pain. The others either fought or ran. Darkness covered a few of the soldiers; the rest were engaged in battle.

Throwing a knife at one of the soldier's that was fighting Sasha, he watched him fall then dispersed the next. Vines reached down and grabbed Sasha by the neck; obviously the nature elite was here. Jumping in front of her,Vincent cut the vines and released Sasha, catching her as she fell.

"Get as far away from nature as you can," he told her, placing her on her feet and pushing her away and into a run. When she was in a safe spot, Vincent turned abd began to help the other's with their soldiers. The only thing they could do now was dispatch all of the soldiers and take off as fast as they could. Without the soliders, there was no doubt the elite's would be recalled to whomever was controlling them.

"Just kill the soldiers!" he shouted, killing two more. It wasn't long until the battle field was draped in dead Rasdont soldiers. But something was still in the air; they hadn't won. That was for sure. "We need to move out," Vincent said, picking up Seline, getting caught in her gaze.

A loud shriek sounded from behind them. Then another, and one more. More were coming, but they weren't here. Now was the time to run.
Anti-Peta.

"In Vabbi , I was ambushed by six of them! They wielded blunt wooden sticks and were hissing at me about overdue fines... Bandits? Oh, no. These were library envoys."

****Leena is in her human form knocked out. THe bear is gone. They are surronded by Nature so facing the Nature Elite is a death wish. Plus, the Elites don't want to hurt the trainees they will go as gentle as they can on them. I think we need to free the Animal Elite. I don't think we should get our hands on the Nature Elite sense we are surronded by Nature whereever we go. Having the Nature Elite would be a major table turner. I think that the Nature Elite should be on eof the last we get. Just my personal theory. Light and Dark Elites will also be some that would be a danger to go against. Light especially for Senra sense Light and fire are her weakness. Facing Darkness for Senra isn't goign to be a problem sense Darkness doesn't faze her and her and Keren went at each other because he was the only one she could train with. He is a danger to the other side if we get him though. We need to make a list and order of what Elites we get and in what order or else we'll pull in random Elites when it should be a thought out process. Getting all the Elites at once isn't a good thing. We need a Desscussion (sp) thread if we don't already have one and we need an order of what Elites we get when we get them****

Senra

Senra grabbed Leena and put her on the back of her horse and then made sure that she wasn't going to fall and she was completely wrapped in darkness. They raced away from where they were. It was pretty easy making sure Leena didn't fall sense she attached the darkness to her own shadow making her follow.

"How close are they to us?" She asked.

"I'm not sure. Not to close that I know of." Cale said as they moved faster. "Be careful. If she wakes up you need to be off your horse. She could get into his mind without a second thought and could throw you knocking you out."

"No, he won't hurt me. Plus, I don't think she will wake up for a while. She got hit pretty hard over the head." She rpelied.

"Who knocked her out?" Cale asked.

"A bear." She smiled.

"Oh, well then your right. Let's just hope we can break whatever spell she is under, then we'll have an Elite on our side."

~Ebony~

Tears streamed down her face as she hid behind something. She wasn't prepared for this, nothing could have prepared her for this. So much blood...so much death. Swallowing, Ebony tried to control her tears. As a someone who could control water, this should have been easy but she couldn't concentrate on anything with all of the emotion blocking conherant thought.

When she saw the sword flash and go up to one of her comrade's throat, panic started to overtake her. They'd barley started and already one of them would die. The panic was soon replaced by the anger of a child in a tantrum. She wouldn't let that happen.

Forcing her thoughts in one direction, Ebondy took hold of her tears and gathered them in her palms. She did the same to any of the dew she found. It'll come back to you when you need it most, just keep trying Ebony. It seems Tesh was right.

She stood slowly and silently, her eyes on the soldier that held his sword to Indio's throat. Using the dew she'd gathered below them, she seized his hand. To the soldier's surprise, the water turned to ice and held him. He looked around and saw her, a childlike form, staring at her.

The tears in her palms crystallized into razor sharp icicles. She forced them towards him and they went through his throat. His eyes widened and his body crumpled as blood gushed out of him. His hand and sword were still trapped in the ice and Ebony felt sick.

She'd just killed a person. Turning around, she knelt down and allowed herself to throw up as she cried some more.

When she was through, she sat there, holding her knees to her chest and trembling. She could control the tears now, but she didn't want to move; didn't want to see the man she'd just killed.

Robin

I wildly looked behind me, trying not to stumble over the rough terrain. The forest path was full of rocks and small ditches, which made walking difficult. I had lost my pursuer quite a while back; I suspect that the Nature trainee had something to do with it. I wasn't sure however. Trying not to question this turn of events, I looked around. Indio was doing well, as were Cale and Vincent. I winced as I remembered what I had to do to Vincent. As I looked closer, I noted that he had Seline with him. Kyle seemed to be holding his own. That left... Sasha and Meela.

Where were they? Most likely in the forest, but we need to stay together if we want to escape from this. But, even if we could escape, where would we go? Rasdont should be close by, but the soldiers would track us down easily. The only option was to kill all of them, before any more could come. Then, we could escape.

I tried to return to where I lost my knife, but arrows blocked my path. Cursing quietly, I backtracked, plunging myself deep into the fray. I couldn't duck quickly enough, and a dagger sliced at my shoulder. Trying not to yell, I dropped to the ground, rough rocks digging into my back. Gritting my teeth, I reached to try and check the wound. But people kept on trampling on my arm; it was impossible.

I used my other arm to drag myself away, but not without superhuman effort. This was one of the times when I cursed my own weakness. Struggling to my feet, I didn't look back and headed into the forest. Perhaps it would be safer there...

She stood up, not looking anywhere but where her commrads were. It was time to go. Ebony walked, going through the underbrush, and found Vincet.

She pulled his sleeve, "She wants to leave." Ebony knew that fear had taken over her face but it didn't bother her. She was visibly shaking and was waiting for Vincet to tell her what to do because she couldn't think coherently.

Kyle-

When the battle finally came to a stop I started looking for my traveling companions. As far as I could see there wasn't a living person on the plains so I decided to start my search in the woods.

After a few minutes of searching I came upon Ebony and Vincent. His wounds immediately caught my attention making me feel a little green.

"What are staring at?" asked Vincent with a hint of steel in his voice.

"Nothing," I said, making myself look away from the blood.

"Well make yourself useful and find our horses," he said.
Admiration: Our polite recognition of another's resemblance to ourselves.

Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.

Confidence: the feeling a person has before he fully understands the situation.
