New in Town

Colt smiled crookedly at August, glancing over at Kasie who was strolling towards them with her eyes on her phone. "No, we're not yet, but, so who knows? Why? Do you like her?" He smiled deviously at August, who didn't answer right away. When Kasie got close enough she slapped Colt in the back of the head nonchalantly, sticking her tongue out at him.

"What'd I do now?" He whined.

"I hate you," she grumbled lowly, glaring.

"What did I do Kasie?" He kept whining, a smile on his face.

"You made the same grade as me and didn't even study!" Kasie growled, glancing at the movies that were playing. "Anyway, what movie are we going to see?" She asked, looking pointedly at August.

***What movies are out? uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh***

"I was thinking Saw 3." He smiled.

"No." She said flatly.

"Then you pick out a movie, long as it isn't too girly I really don't care, maybe Colt should pick it out." August smiled.

Kasie glared at Colt, who was smiling deviously. "No, he sucks at picking out movies. Everytime he picks one I either walk out before it ends or fall asleep." She glanced back at Colt, who was glaring at her playfully.

"I'm not that ba-"

"Not that bad?! Haha! That's funny, because you wanted to go see Hannah Montana with the class!" Kasie growled, only teasing.

"The end was great, which you would have seen had you not walked out!"

"Well now you know why I did!" She stuck her tongue out at him. "How about we just go see Fast and Furious."

"Sounds good to me." August said. He really wanted to know how many times they had gone to movies together. He was almost positive now there was something between them, and that hurt, and it shouldn't have.

"ALright, fast and the furious here we come." Colt smiled drapping an arm around Kay's shoulder.

"I'ma grab some popcorn." August said giving Colt some money for his ticket.

Kasie turned and glared at Colt, who still had his arm drapped over her shoulder. He smiled crookedly down at her, and once August was out of sight, had his arm twisted behind his back by an angry Kasie. "You're such a jerk," she whined like a little kid and twisted his pinky while he laughed.

"I thought it was funny," he chuckled.

"Well I didn't. I hate you, jerk." They were just friends, nothing more, and they both knew it.

"Come on, don't you want to get August jealous?" Colt smiled.

"Why would I want to?"

"Oh so you don't like him?" Colt laughed humorously while Kasie blushed. She dropped his arm, mumbling a bunch of jibberish before paying for her ticket.

August came back with the popcorn and followed them into the theatre where they all found some seats, Kay ended up inbetween them.

"You get to hold the popcorn." He smiled setting it on her lap.

"Why?"

"Your in the middle." He smiled back at her before propping his feet up on the chair infront of him.

Kasie pouted and stuck her tongue out at August playfully. Colt wrapped and arm around her shoulders and she pinched him in the side, making him yelp and jump up in the air. Kasie snickered and ended up getting pinched on the cheek, soon slapping his hand away.

Half-way through the movie Kasie finally slapped him in the back of the head, trading spots with August. Well, it was more like her rolling August into her seat and then sitting in his.

August was a tad pleased when he ended up sitting between Kay and Colt. The movie was spent 'watching' the movie when he was more concerned abotu the girl sittin gnext to him. What was wrong with him. He didn't understand, usually girls weren't always on his mind, ya they were nice to have around and play with, but that was where it eneded he had better things to do then worry abotu girls.

Not realizing it, Kasie layed her head on August shoulder, still watching the movie, but tiredly. She noticed Colt scowl and sighed, closing her eyes. She'd probably be bothered by him the rest of the night.

August was happy when he felt her lay her head on his shoulder. When the movie was over eh didn't want to wake her, btu shook her gently.

"Kay, time to get up." He said. She opened her eyes and frowned.

Kasie sighed and stood to her feet, noticing they were the last three in the theater. She grabbed her bag and walked over to the railing in the middle of the stairs, sliding down it. "Hey, Kasie, down fall."

"Shut your hole," she snapped a Colt, who smirked widely.

"Just sayin. Last week you about broke your arm." Kasie glared at him and crossed her arms, waiting for the two guys.

*Got anything for triple H? I was thinking Landon and Chandler to walk out after agreeing to shower and change into their gym close but find danielle in that trance like vision thing*

August smiled as they caught up with her and then walked outside. "I don't want to head home." Kay yawned.

"You need sleep, come on, I"ll drive you." August said before Colt could offer.

Kasie groaned and shook her head quickly. She wasn't going to school tomorrow, due to the shelter inspection she had a noon. She'd have to spend all morning making sure it was clean. "I'm not tired, nor am I going home!" She pouted like a three year old. "Besides, I left Coon at the adoption center. I might just walk there and sleep with the rottweilers." Wow, stress made her talk like a mad man. She hadn't really been able to get a good night's sleep in the passed week, considering all the things on her mind. Her mom and dad had been bothering her since her mom left to pick a college already, and with the mid-school exams coming up, along with the inspections. God, how many animals had been adopted already? She couldn't think straight. August pointed her in the direction of his car, yet she began to walk the other way.

August frowned. "Your not walking." He said scooping her up and carrying her.

"And why not?" She demanded.

"Cause it isn't safe." He replied depositing her in his truck then locking the door so she couldn't get out.

Kasie knocked on the window, getting the attention of both August and Colt, and smushed her face up against the window, sticking her tongue out. Colt started to laugh hysterically and August just rolled his eyes, smiling sarcastically. Colt was talking as he laughed, suddenly causing August to whip around and glare at him. Kasie smushed her ear against the window, trying to hear their conversation.
