ideas about how she knows when a shadow is near?
ex: headaches, um...voice? i dunno...

I messed around with the idea of headaches and decided that it would become to much of a hassle. Raven would be collapsing left and right!

I never really thought shadows HAD voices.

As a hint, I'm amking it so Raven can just feel their icy presence, like when your Uncle Larry comes in with a bad mood, vibes just follow him. The same with the shadows.

And do y'all mind if I add another character? I think it would make things easier for me somehow.

And how are we starting? All over again, or a little behind where we left off? I was thinking all over again...

I'm just posting this here so I can come back to it...

Name: Layne Robbs

Gender: Male

Age: Twenty

Appearance: Him

Country of Origin: Sydney, Australia

Personality: Reserved. Layne has the tendency to think head before heart, and has no problem leaving someone he loves behind if it means getting something he wants. Self centered. Can be hot headed, but for the most part hides his temper until it really matters. (His self centered tendencies will change if he falls in love.)

Special Abilities: Shadow Sensing, Fire and Heat Manipulation

Physical Abilities: Not easily injured, also very thin but quite strong

Weaknesses: His past and his mistakes. Also, when he loses his temper he often forgets certain defense tactics, which opens a small area to easily defeat him.

Other: Hates the sound of people eating. If you see him scowling while eating around him, you'll know why.

History: Layne grew up the youngest in a family of seventeen. Having sixteen older siblings was never easy, and as soon as he grew enough to fend for himself, his parents left him to do that and tended to the other children. At the age of fourteen, he grew tired of the life his family presented him, or rather took away, and he ran away. Since then, he'd been living on his own, practicing defensive and offensive fighting tactics with sticks and pieces of glass found scattered on the ground. His personality renders completely from how he grew up.

Ha ha, you don’t have to get rid of the scar. It just makes Gary all the cuter!! Yes, I know, I’m weird. And I wanted to post a more detailed profile for Raven, so here we go!



Name: Raven Thistle

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Appearance: Her eyes are pitch black, as is her hair, which is pixie-cut. She’s racially white. Freckles somewhat cover her nose and cheeks. She has obsidian studs on the bridge of her nose, which she pierced. She often dresses in Goth style clothing, or at least black/really dark colors.

Country of Origin: Oklahoma, USA

Personality: She’s to herself and isn’t really social. The shadow attacking her, and it stalking her at night, makes her seem depressed and dark at a glance. Around very close friends she feels safer, and so lets herself be funny, gentle and happy. She is often rude, arrogant, mean, or selfish, just to cover up her inner emotions. If you seem to be in a terrible mood, and she thinks you're pretty okay, then she'll try ot cheer you up.

Special Abilities: Shadow Sensing (She gets a chill and becomes very alert when a shadow is near), Telekinesis (she can move anything at all with her mind and a flick of her hands, but things that are heavier than her drain her of energy), Telepathy (she can send you messages with her mind), air manipulation (she can make a breeze appear or a small tornado)

Physical Abilities: She is a great flirt, letting her mildly seduce men. Her swim speed is above average. And she can play the guitar fairly well, like someone who did it for a hobby.

Weaknesses: She thinks herself an outcast from society, which makes her an easy target for bad guys to manipulate. She’s a complete claustrophobic. If you put her in a room without any windows or a hole or anything, she’ll become unable to breath, beat at the door and/or burst into tears.

Other: She’s considered the weirdo so no one hangs out with her. She became quite the tomboy due to her childhood (see below) and taught herself to spit up to fifteen feet away with great accuracy and throw darts as well.

History: As a child her parents brutally abused her for being born a girl. She grew up wishing that she were a boy or had never been born. When she turned 14 shadows attacked the three in the middle of the night. They took her and her parents. By sheer luck, or a lot of mind power, she was able to force the shadows away from her, though they left their mark. From then on she was dark, rude and often mean to hide her true feelings, which she learned early on people could manipulate. She couldn’t bear to stay around her parents who had gone insane from two shadows taking them, and so ran away. For a while she lived on the streets, but when she turned sixteen she got a part-time job and an apartment. When she turned eighteen she had officially decided to be a Goth and changed her name from Laura Hanabee to Raven Thistle.

Name: Kelly Perriwink

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Appearance: Se has a head full of long, curly brown hair, which is often in a bun or high ponytail. She’s racially white, though it’s a little hard to tell. Her eyes are a rich brown, often being hidden by her Harry Potter glasses. She usually dresses in vests and school-girl skirts like the stereotypical bookworm she is.

Country of Origin: Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Personality: Her nose is often in a book, or against a computer screen looking up the meaning of life. She’s a quiet girly girl who would only care what she looked like if you taped a mirror to the front of her favorite book, The Complete Encyclopedia to Everything in the Universe. She’s full of laughter and when she does take the time to talk to you, you’ll most likely end up laughing aloud.

Special Abilities: Advanced intellect: she is an utter genius, but doesn’t like to show it. Omni-linguisim: She’s learned so many different languages it’s a special ability. Hacker: can hack into any computer, no matter how complex.

Physical Abilities: She isn’t really athletic, but she can run really fast in spite of her chicken legs.

Weaknesses: Arachnophobia. The only books she hasn’t read are the ones in the oldest section, which have spider webs on them. She faints at the sight of a spider.

Other: Holds the world record for most books read in one day. She’s had so many paper cuts she’s now immune to them.

Up for love?: Yes

History: She grew up in your average, middle-class suburban area, catching a heavy Georgian accent. Her family owned the public library, so she learned to positively love books. The shadows took her best friend and her family when Kelly was 15. Since then, she’s been trying to find a way to stop the shadows. She got accepted into Harvard.

Appearance: Mari
She has a nice figure which has something to do with her high metabolism

Country of Origin:Bremerton, WA

Personality:She's emotionless most of the time, she can be happy if someone she loves makes her giggle. She makes anything bigger than it is and has an overactive imagination. She was abused by her father as her mother watched but, she doesn't like to talk to anyone about it.

Special Abilities: Emotion (she can change people's emotions and sense when people are mad or happy) mind reader

Physical Abilities:She flirts without knowing it, and loves to sing.

Weaknesses: She cares a lot about what other people think. If too much emotions hit her at one time she can get a migrane or trip. She doesn't have very good balance.

Other: She's unique and tries to be nice to everyone but, sometimes she gets pissed. When she falls in love she goes in head first. She's had a lot of heart break maybe next time she gets hurt she will learn.

History: She used to live in a happy home until the shadows took her parents (that's how she got abused) She lost her little brother when he was 4 years old. He had brain cancer, She had done everything in her power to make him comfortable. Since the doctors and nurses at hospitals got overpowered with the shadows, She knew he would feel better at home. When he died her parents had tried to just throw him out like a piece of trash, but she ran away and buried him herself. She has a hateful past and doesn't like to talk about it but, if you get close enough you can find out.

Are you reffering to how you're going to get your car back? Hey, I only know how to write my stuff! Maybe the police track down your GPS and the car is parked in the parking lot of the studio and... see?! I can only write my stuff!!

the shadows are the things taking people over, remember from the last one its the same plot.
