Raesa

Raesa stared after Shaiel. She wondered what they were sensing...

Suddenly, Raesa's arm was ripped open. Raesa looked down wildly. Her arm was fine. But it couldn't be, she felt an open wound there...

Something happened to Lazona.

Raesa ran blindly into the woods. She had a funny feeling that whatever caused Vashhun to howl like that caused Lazona to be injured...

She had to stop it, whatever it was. Her own body commanded it... If something happened to Lazona - witches bodies were bound to one another - One dies, the other dies. One is injured, the other feels the injury.

Anger, pure anger consumed me. It was not to be unexpected of course, it was normal for me t feel anger, it meant that a Magic Wielder close by was being hurt, or killed. It also meant that her alter ego would die or feel hurt with her.

It was a strange occurrence, a Lycanthrope normally never attacked anyone unless it felt that this anyone had intruded on its territory or if it felt exposed because of something he or she did. Maybe the Lycanthrope had smelt the pelts? Was it attacking her for the pelts?

I could feel the witches alter ego moving closer to the Lyconthrope, so was Zire.

Desanda blinked, but before she could do anything else, Aeriz had grabbed her arm and dragged her off towards the woods. The two, Sael and Alarinna were left behind, though Aeriz seemed to have forgotten. She tried to speak up but Aeriz was dragging her through the woods so quickly that she was getting dizzy.

Finally, Aeriz stopped and looked around, breaths coming in short bursts. They were completely lost, since Aeriz hadn't been paying attention at all during his run. Great.

"Where to now?"

Aeriz opened his mouth, and for a moment, it looked like he had an idea. However, he soon shut it. "I got nothing."
There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

Lazona

Lazona stumbled away, he mind reeling. The stupid Lycanthrope had attacked her! Lazona had managed to duck, but... Lazona glanced down, cringing at the sight of her mangled arm.

The Lycanthrope was rounding on her, moving in for another attack. Lazona didn't think she could dodge this time.

Lazona spied her vial of acid on the forest floor only feet away from her. She lunged for it and ripped off the cork with her teeth. She spat the cork out.

"Stay back," she commanded the Lycanthrope. "Two drops of this and I'll have your life in my hands. Another drop and you're gone. There are more than three drops in my little vial here. Let me explain: This is my special acid. It will eat through anything, because of the ingredients I put in it. If it needs reinforcement,it feeds off of my own power to finish the job. It is infallible. You will feel it eat every cell in you body, one by one, and you will be alive until the very end." Lazona grinned at the sight of the giant wolf backing up warily.

The wolf growled and began circling her. Lazona kept the vial in clear sight, shaking it threateningly when the wolf got too cocky.

Raesa

Raesa ran furiously through the woods. Her arm was throbbing worse than ever, and she could feel herself loosing strength. Lazona must be in bad shape, indeed.

Raesa skidded to a half when she heard a wolf's frustrated growl. She jogged into a clearing. Lazona sat in the center, glaring challengingly at a gigantic white wolf who was circling her. Vashhun.

Raesa took a hesitant step forward. "Vashhun," she called. "What are you doing? She's hurt..." Raesa winced as her arm throbbed again.

The wolf stopped and stared at her furiously. He gave a terrifying growl. Raesa paled, and stepped back another step. She glanced at Lazona.

Lazona was paying no attention of Raesa. She watched Vashhun warily as he circled her. Then, Raesa felt like she had been punched in the stomach. Scattered around Lazona were animal parts, pelts, claws, fangs, a vial full of hair, and a beaker full of what suspiciously looked like blood.

"Lazona," called Raesa, horrified. "What have you done?"

No answer.

Suddenly, Raesa remembered why Vashhun's other half despised witches so. One had killed their mother simply for her pelt. Vashhun had said the pelt was a deep and unusually black color. A pelt lay at Lazona's feet that matched that description.

Raesa stumbled, her head spinning. She sank the the ground, too dizzy to stand up. Whether it was the shock of Lazona's actions, or the growing weakness she felt with Lazona's loss of blood.

Raesa was forced to watch helplessly as Vashhun tried and tried again to attack Lazona. She waited for him to succeed, and her life to end. Terror gripped Raesa. Numbly, she noticed the care Lazona was taking to not get any of her blood on the artifacts. Did she not realize how soon they would both collapse?

My fur pelts!

I could see clearly now, it seemed that it was me that had reached them first, Zire and the rest had gone back to get Aeriz and Desanda , they did not want to lose the allies they had just introduced themselves to.

I watched as the witch who was being circled in the middle kept the wolf at bay, she was using a small bottle, which from the smell of the magic was a home made acid, one of a kind too. around her, scattered lay my fur pelts and some other black magic objects, not of mine.

It had taken me a very long time to find two dead Lycanthropes to get the fur from, it was much easier to kill the Lycanthrope s but i knew Zire would never let me live in peace if he knew i had killed one. He was as one would say a more peace loving wizard. He was so peaceful that no creature who could think better than a normal animal would attack him on first sight. He had a special aura around him.

I sighed, if in any way the witch would fail to keep herself alive i would have to go through a whole mess trying to convince the Lycanthrope to give me the fur pelts so i decided to barge in.

"Lycanthrope, stop attacking her" I shouted.

Both the witch and the Lycanthrope stopped moving, the Lycanthrope seemed angry and sad at the same time whilst the witch seemed to be angry that i was barging into her fight.

"Show yourself" the Lycanthrope commanded, or rather i could hear it in my head.

I jumped onto the ground and walked towards it.

It was then that i realized that these were the same witches i had met before.

"What do you want?" growled the Lycanthrope "this fight is between me and her"

I smiled, he didn't know i was a wizard yet, or he would tear me up first "I want those fur pelts, they are mine!" I commanded.

For a moment both the witch and the Lycanthrope were puzzled.

"What do you mean yours? They are mine!" The witch said angrily, i could see from her state that she was about to collapse from blood loss, to one side of me i could see her alter ego already collapsed, although if she was awake i could not tell.

"You? You're a wizard, that's what you are!" the Lycanthrope growled "You killed them"

I guessed by now that the Lycnthrope emitted its thoughts into ours head when it wanted to say something.

"Killed who?" I said pretending to be puzzled.

"Do not lie" The Lycanthrope screamed and growled at the same time "You killed my race for those fur pelts"

"Of course not" I said laughing "I merely took the fur pelts f those who had died already"

I waited to see how the Lycanthrope would react.

Zire

We ran towards where Zander had gone. Me, and the rest including Desanda and Aeriz.

I saw a witch lying in on the ground unconscious as we reached our destination, so i ran towards her and carried her to safety among us, letting the rest of them tend to her injuries as i watched what Zander was doing.

Just to let you know Firestalker, With my Lycanthrope, he cannot speak as a wolf. He does transmits thoughts to them into their heads if he has such a desire to speak to them. I just thought to let you know.

--------------------------

Nadira

She burst into the clearing, a blur of black fur, and jumped onto Vashhan knocking him over onto his side. She pinned him down as much as she could, but he was bigger and stronger than her and if he didn't stop thrashing, she would be pushed away.

Calm down! What is going on here! Nadira demanded. She knew that everyone could hear her thoughts at the moment. She allowed them. She did not care.

Get off of me! I do not need you here! This is none of your business! He snarled back. His lips curled up showing his sharp teeth. Nadira did not even flinch. He would not hurt her.

Anything you do is my business! Especially when you seemingly attacked a witch! And she is not even on our territory. Become human now and let us sort this out! Nadira growl shifting so that when he transformed into a human he would not be strangled.

With some resistance he transformed into his usual self. His blonde hair was tangles with twigs and leaves through out it. He was scuffed in places and there was an emotion of pure frustration on his face. He would have killed her if he could. It was only their small connection that makes them as who they are. That small connection was her saving grace. She transformed quickly too not even bothering to tie up her long black hair.

"Explain yourself." Nadira said sternly. It was also then that she realized the other faces appearing in the clearing. There was an audience. He would not admit to what he would wish for them to admit.

Vashhan

"He killed her. Nadira! He was the person who murdered our mother!" Vashhan's pain edged his voice. He gestured toward the new wizard that had come. The one who apparently had killed his mother.

"But how is that possible?" Nadira questioned. ".How is that even possible for that to be our mother's pelt?"

"It has to be... There has only been one other wolf that has had that fur like yours. That was mother. And there..." Vashhan looked painfully at the white pelt on the ground. "That must be our grand-father." Those words weighed down on his heart. It was the only reasoning that could be true. His grand father had died trying to protect his mother. His mother was a lesser. His grandfather was a greater. In the Lycanthrope pack, when the cubs were born with their Ego, from birth it was known as the Cub and the Ego. Nobody would even address the Ego by their given name. Nadira was an Ego. He did not treat her as one.

"I just do not know, Vashhan. I do not know what to day." Nadira whispered cautiously. Vashhan knew she was feeling as outraged as him. She was surrounded by Magic users, one witch lying on the ground, the other wounded horribly. Vashhan knew she was contemplating how she could take off all these peoples heads as quick as possible. He knew she wouldn't though. She had actual control over her emotions unlike him.

Lazona

Lazona rolled away from the Lycanthropes the second the darker one jumped on the white one. She scanned the ground, looking for the tins of herbs she had collected... She had thought she spotted dicklewart in the mess of dried herbs...

Lazona snatched up a tin with her good and pried it open with her teeth. She sniffed around the tin, looking for dicklewart's pungent smell...

"Got you..." Lazona breathed, snatching up a small paper pack of herb. She opened the paper and dumped about half of the contents into her wound. She sighed as the herb's magical properties began to work on her wound.

Dicklewart was a rare substance. The plant was probably extinct; dicklewart hadn't been found for centuries. Urchin Academy had one of the last stores of it in the world. Dicklewart could literally knit skin back together. It healed any injury it touched. Obviously, it was a widely sough-after herb, once its properties were discovered. It was useful for flesh wounds, internal bleeding, any malady the body had, save a few. Dicklewart's only limitation was that it could only heal injuries. It was useless against sickness.

Lazona's skin itched as it healed itself. She received a surge of energy as the dicklewart replenished her blood supply. Lazona jumped up and shook herself. She glanced over at the Lycanthropes. They were still bickering, now in human form.

Lazona edged around them and began picking up her artifacts carefully, inspecting each one for damage.

Heavy footsteps came up behind her.

"I would appreciate it if you returned those..." hissed a voice behind her. Lazona turned around quickly.

"Excuse me?" she cried indignantly. The man observed her arm.

"Dicklewart, I presume? Clever..."

Lazona glared at him.

Raesa

Raesa woke up with a jolt. She jumped up instinctively, and knocked into a man who was standing over her.

"Sorry!" she cried, rubbing her head. The man looked at her.

"Not a problem - " he began. Raesa turned away to glance over at Vashhun and Nadira. They were bickering. Nadira suddenly glanced around them, looking angrily around at the occupants of the clearing. Raesa turned to see Lazona arguing with another man. Then Raesa spied the pelts on the ground.

Raesa moaned and covered her head with her hands. How could Lazona?!" How could she take those things, the very essence of what Raesa despised?

... And one of them might be Vashhun's mother...

Raesa removed her hands from her face. She felt terrible, as if she should apologize for Lazona's behavior. But no. Raesa wasn't responsible for it. And this crime was far past the help of simple apologies.

Furiously, Raesa marched over toward Lazona, who was still arguing with the man. Lazona had put both of their lives in danger, had stolen for the Academy, and obviously hoped to be able to preform some peice of Dark Magic.

Yes, Raesa had reason to be angry.

Zire

I watched the witch walk towards the other witch, she was so angry that i could almost feel her anger. Her alter ego was arguing with Zander. He was surrounded by some Lycanthrope pelts and objects of black magic, i could just manage to hear the sentence "...my pelts please!".

His pelts?

That could only mean one thing

He had directly disobeyed my perfectly clear orders, one of the only things i had ordered him to do and killed a lycanthrope.

No wonder the lycanthrope was acting in this way,he was both angry and sad, How could he have done something like this? it was terrible,

I walked towards Zander angrily.

Zander

"Could i have my pelts please!" I ordered impatiently.

"Your pelts?" she asked giving me a disbelieving look.

"Yes my pelts, the pelts you stole from my room in the Academy." I explained.

That was when i felt someone was looking at me, I turned around and found myself face to face with two angry alter ego's.

Vashhan

They were all bickering now, their words blending into one fluent thrum. He could not bear the noise any longer. He pitched to his knees and covered his ears and let out a frustrated cry. this was to much to be beheld at a time like this. The rest of his kind seemed to be gone, his family dead, remnants of his ancestors lying on the floor of the forest before him, and now he was in a clearing surrounded by people he did not belong with.

A hand fell onto his shoulder. At least he had Nadira with his in this time. She was the only thing supporting him from becoming truly mad. The thrum died down to barely a whisper, but a couple phrases caught his attention before all others.

"Could I have my pelts back please?"

"Your pelts?" Lazona's voice sent a stab of emotion through him. He did not know what to say anymore. He did not know even what to think.

""Yes my pelts, the pelts you stole from my room in the Academy."

Vashhan stiffened and looked up at the two witches standing there before a much more powerful wizard. He was the actual one. It was not Lazona who had killed them. And again for some odd reason, a release of relief rushed through him. His breath straightened out and automatically he felt sorry for the agression he had injured her with.

But just as soon as that releif came, so did the realization that the actual owner was right before him. That was the person who had truly killed them. Those thoughts instantly caught with Nadira who also tensed. She would not attack, so he wouldn't either. They were one. He would not be foolish to run into another fight without her by his side.

Just to let you know Light_Devil, you are still in it. We kind of dragged you along with us without you being there. Your characters wer the once with Billy's characters right? Well, we are all in a clearing right now, kind of all bickering. Feel free to just say something. We don't necessarily have to drag you back in because you are actually still there.

Alarinna and Sael~ Long time, no see

Sael had convinced Alarinna to follow the others, and sure enough, Sael's bad tracking skills had gotten them lost. Alarinna was attempting to ask creatures where they were, but none answered. "This isn't a fairytail," Sael snapped, fluttering up. Her ears twitched. She heard something.

"Yes my pelts, the pelts you stole from my room in the Academy."

Sael fluttered up, and flew overhead the trees. Sure enough, there was a group of about six talking in the clearing. "'Yes my pelts, the pelts you stole from my room in the Academy.'" Sael mocked using an annoyingly shrill voice.

Her feet touched down. Zire and Zander were there. And those two witches, she believed, were there as well.

"Who are you?" A lycanthrope growled menacingly.

"I'm so scared," Sael mocked, shooting up into the air.

"Sael...," Alarinna trailed off, blushing scarlet as the people noticed her. She popped up into the air when she noticed the lethal lycanthrope.

Shaiel

He had been watching from a little way back into the forest, arguing silently with Rason. The demon had wanted to take a side, although he hadn't told Shaiel which. Shaiel suspected that Rason actually wanted to pretend to side with the wizard and deal with the lycanthrope now, only to betray the wizard once he'd been weakened. "You just want to remove a few obstacles who might want to kill Daemon before you can get to him, don't you?"

What's it to you? Rason sneered, You want him dead just as much as I do. Maybe even more. A tight, white sneer carved its image into his mind, appearing as a fanged crescent moon in the darkest depths where Rason hid himself. Wouldn't that be ironic?

Shaiel let out a sigh, then looked back to the clearing. Lazona and one of the wizards were arguing, the pelts left temporarily forgotten on the ground.

He leapt forward, kicking off the branch as his wings unfolded again, carrying him in a wide, fast swoop close to the ground of the clearing. He collected both belts in one hand and landed, skidding, just next to the lycanthropes.

Both Lazona and the wizard turned to look at him with infuriated stares. The rest of the gathering was giving him variations on the same shocked look, "The only people here," he said, "With any right to these pelts are those of the same species." He said, holding the pelts out to Vashhan.

Rason let out a sarcastic moan as Shaiel returned the pelts, Heaven and Hell, angel-boy. You sure know how to cut all the fun out of a confrontation!

*Just start a conversation with Sael or Alarinna or something. Just start yelling at her. That should hopefully get everyone's attention.*
