**Awera is a girl. Lol.**

Awera raised her hand, catching everyone's attention. "As I have already told Ramza, I have been traveling, and have been harassed. I was unfortunate enough to have to slay a few of those who attacked me, much to my regret. But the gods have endowed me with the will to fight, and I will not ignore them. Anyway, I degress. On their bodies, I found a pendant. Each one carried one, even ones from separate raiding groups. I believe they have banded together, why, I do not know. " She held up a pendant, made of cheap copper, square and embossed with a crude star, for the others to examine.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Name: Ba'shen
Race: Dragonne (like a cross between a lion and a dragon.)
Class: N/A.
Age: around 2 years, but mature for her race.
Appearance: built mostly like a lion, but with brass-colored scales. Green eyes.
Personality: Ba'shen is very serious. She doesn't like to banter, and speaks very seldom.

Bio: The runt of her nest, she was abandoned and never learend to fly properly.

Where is Firesong? Ba'shen wonders. Said he would be here.

Sullenly, she tore into a hauch of beef. Her Gnome friend would pay for being late.
"Do? I'll tell you what we'll do! We'll be ready!"

(fire_of_dawn, I have to reject your character. You didn't ask if you could be that race and you didn't follow my character template. If you still wish to join you will have to make a new one.)

(Come on people, I'm waiting for you guys to post. Do you guys need me to push it along for you? If so just tell me.)
I will always fight back, no matter what.

Ramza studied the medallion closely, "That's the medal of the wizard Duric." Awera looked at it again before asking how he knew that. Ramza hesitated a moment, Duric served his brother, "Duric was a wizard in the service of the Beoulves if I remember correctly. I used to travel through that area a lot."

For the next half an hour everyone disgust what to do. No had any real information, and if anyone did, they were hiding it. It was settled then that they would visit the barracks in the morning to see what information they could gather. They got two rooms, one for the men, the other for the women. In the morning they would meet at the barracks at noon.

(You can either have conversations with characters or post about the next morning, help?"

It was only after all had left but Ramza that i remembered.
" i just remembered something" i said
"what" ramza asked
"i know Duric, he an i used to live near each other for a short time while i was married, i think he moved from that area about a month before i left on my journey though i might be wrong, but i can't for the life of me remember where, i will try to make a memory potion tonight but i might not have all the stuff i need for it"
"well, i hope you do" siad Remza and with that he left the room.

i stood in my room pacing. I was trying to scrape my brain for the makings of a memory potion but could not remember. I new it had the zazbine root, liquid zombie skull and frogs tongue but the last ingredient escaped me. Then i got an idea, i need a memory potion, i thought and it took me several seconds to remember i need to remember how to make a memory potion. i really need to make one, i a so forgetful and then i remember the final ingredient. It was essence of confusion. I ran over and then searched my cabinet for it. I finally found it, but sadly it was almost empty, only enough for one more. I thought my self weather or not to use it. I might just waste it on something that is unneeded, while i could save it for another time. i debated with my self for many minutes then decided to just make it now, i could just run to the vendors the next day. I poured the bottle into a small cauldron, along with some chopped roots, a white ooze and a large amount of pink colored shreds. Then after several minutes of muttering and stirring it began to smoke and i stopped. I took out my wand and then dipped it in the ooze, then i pulled it up and tapped my head several times. then i took a small cup filled it and took a sip holding down my barf. Then my eyes went pale and my mind drifted off. I stood there for the rest of the night as the potion took its course.

Gasian Adahias

The bard stayed up after the others had all retired to their rooms. No one had much information of use at this time, the best they could get was a possible memory of the wizard. But maybe he could pick up something useful.

Seeing one particularly weary looking traveller, Gaz sat down beside the man. "You came afoul of the dark wizard's men, didn't you?"

The man gave him a haunted look, "Oh, I came afoul of the bastard, alright. But not his men - his beasts."

"His beasts?" Gaz leaned forward, "I'm heading out of town in a day or two, so any information you might have on his pets would be useful." It was a white lie, he probably would be heading out in a day or two, but he didn't really need the information, just an indicator of the wizard's power, maybe even a weakness.

"The ones I saw were only a small selection, I've heard tell of demons, and magical beasts. But what I saw..." he shuddered, "What I saw was undead. Zombies and wights attacked me, and I barely escaped. I had to kill my pack mule and scatter my meat rations about the track to distract them, then I almost killed my horse riding back here." His eyes locked with Gaz's, "Don't go out there."

Gaz gave him a sad smile, then patted his shoulder and left a few coins on the table, "Thanks for the words of warning, friend." He made his way back upstairs to the rooms to tell the others what he had learnt. The wizard was capable of controlling the minds of beasts and summoning demons, apparently. And Gaz now knew for sure that he could create zombies and wights, and probably more powerful undead if the notion took him. A worrying prospect indeed.

Undead, huh? Awera thought, clenching her fist on her morningstar. They were all gathered in the men's room, thinking over what the bard had learned.
She cleared her throat softly. "I may be of some help, there."
Ramza, the unofficial leader of the group, frowned slightly, looking over slim frame. "How?"
"Undead are an abomination to my gods. Hence all Clerics are trained to fight such creatures. I have specially crafted spells that only work against these type of creatures- If you wish, I shall memorize them?"
Ramza nodded, satisfied. "Do so. It could be of great use."
Awera smiled, and glanced around the group. "If any of you become ailed, with sickness or wounds, inform me. It is part of my holy duty to help those with a good cause."

(I am fairly good with this format, but I have to ask, since Paladins are slightly overpowered (for level) and simply MUST kill evil, undead.. etc on sight, what does that mean for a character who is that class on here? And yes, I am well aware I need to have the metaphorical stick up the wazoo and be a little goody goody to be a paladin.)

~Excalibur~
(In this storybook nothing is so cut and dry. The way I pictured a paladin was a knight sworn to some oath. It could be to a king, eveil or no, to the people in general, or a cause. That's about it, just fighting for a given cause with all they have. Just so you know, you may join if you like.)

(Good job guys. You can talk some more, or tell me and I'll start the post at the barracks.
I will always fight back, no matter what.

(I can't think of much to add from here. It's just handy that the monsters were undead, lol! Clerics clean up against those, but are fairly average fighting wise against other things)

(oh, and yes, I do play too many rpgs and D&D roleplaying >.<;)
