I've noticed since I got back that a lot of storybooks have been created. To my dismay not many appeal to me. Not that I hate the idea, just I'm not sure how far it will go. So, my goal became to make a fun storybook I knew would go on and on and on as long as we all worked together. So, ladies and gentlemen, I give you Dungeons and Dragons. This wont be like the actual game with dice and things like that, but I will act as a kind of DM for the adventures.

For this kind of Storybook I wont be setting up a set storyline or plot. Right after I'm done here I'll post my Character Sheet and start the story. We will all meet up in a tavern in town. If we get a lot of members I may split us into groups if I have to. Here we go.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Rules

1) One character only.

2) No killing another characters without permission.

3) What I say goes. I wont be too controlling, but I need to make sure the story continues on and doesn't get side tracked too much.

4) Minimal language. If you are ambushed by a horde of Goblins and wish to yell F*** go ahead, but don't use it extensively.

5) Relationships are allowed, but can not over take the story. No sex scenes.

6) Most importantly, HAVE FUN.

(My Character)

Name- Ramza Beoulve (Final Fantasy Tactics)

Race- Human

Class- Fighter

Age- 21

Appearance- http://natrea.deviantart.com/art/Ramza-Beoulve-53044502

Personality- Has a strong sense of justice. He believes no one man is greater than another. He's a kind person who will never refuse to help someone in need. Otherwise calm and sometimes childish.

Bio- Grew up to a Noble family. His father died when he was only 14 and was raised by his elder half brother Dycedarg. When he learned of his brothers plot to take power and kill and suppress many innocent people he ran away. Since then he's been wandering the country looking for a purpose in life.

Weapons/Armor- Ramza uses a long sword and a shield. He also has a dagger hidden under his belt. Ramza wears light leather armor for maneuverability over protection.

Ramza enter the tavern causously. His goal was not to draw attention to himself. A few people looked up at him, but paid him no mind so he took a seat at the bar. He ordered a drink ans swung around to listen to a bard play in the back. (If someone chooses to be a bard they may be this one.) After a moment he over heard to men talking.

"We need to get out of here," said the first one.

"What are you talking about? Let the local knights deal with the problem," replied the second.

"No, word is the can't. They say the a dark wizard is controlling the beasts and the Knights can't stop them. I also heard they may be picking people to help them fight."

Ramza stopped listening and turned to his own thoughts when he was approached by someone. (Can be anyone.)

Name- Raebos Hodes

Race- Human

Class- Rogue

Age- 19

Appearance- Light brown hair, blue eyes, dresses in simple clothes, washes once and again. He keeps his appearance this way so he can fit in with the peasants, scum, etc.

Personality- Raebos ultimately works for the Greater Good, but he does so in whichever manner he sees fit (people who are familiar with the usual D&D alignment thingy would place him as Neutral/Chaotic Good). He is capable of imitating the Aristocracy (he even knows how to be clean like them), but he feels most at home among the peasants. This is not so much that he doesn't like the Noble lifestyle, but he believes that they don't deserve to live in so much luxury while everyone else barely get the bare necessities.

Bio- Raebos is the son of a travelling merchant. He accompanied his father for most of his life, but was seperated from him when he was 16 during an Ork raid (I hope you don't mind me spelling it with a "k", but Tolkien himself said that is how Ork should be spelt. Sadly he said this after publishing his books with it spelt as "Orc"). He was forced to steal food to live. This led him into a small adventure in its own right, where he discovered his natural ability to sneak, steal, spy and, when necessary, fight. He does not talk much about this particular episode in his life, though - all that is known is it is then that he became confident in his abilities.

Weapons/Armor- Short Sword, Crossbow. Does not wear armour, preferring to be as agile as possible.
I refuse to acknowledge the existence of this signature.

I approached the man cautiously. Although he did have some knowledge of the Dark Wizard, Duric, my father, you never knew with humans. They were foolish but dangerously ambitious.

"The dark wizard?" I asked.

He looked me over. "Why?"

"Just curious..."

(If you know about the domains do what you want with them.)

Ramza studied the woman who sat next to him. He noticed almost instantly she was an elf and her silver hair stood out to him. "If you ask me the problems of this country have gotten worse of late." She ordered a drink and waited for him to continue. "More and more soldiers and wizards a leaving the royal armies and going rogue. It would appear the royal families no longer have power."

"I agree. Though it would appear that one family is still growing. The Beoulve family I believe," she said will taking a drink.

Ramza stopped a moment at the mention of the name before going on, "So what do you think is going to happen?"

"I couldn't say, but I have my own reasons when it comes to taking action towards situations like this," she replied.

"Sounds to me like you want to fight this wizard." Ramza said with a bit of a sarcastic tone.

"I never said that," she replied with a bite of anger to her voice.

"I'm only saying, It sounds like this wizards wants power, but his means seem inhuman. If something isn't done about these rouges soon there will be civil war. Nip the rosebud early as they say. What do you say, partners?" She looked at his hand cautiously, "I'm Ramza by the way."
I will always fight back, no matter what.

Awera sighed and stretched her muscles. Her day had been long, travelling from a nearby town into the city. Her morningstar clinked almost merrily at her side, a stark contrast to her soft, if plain, features. In spite of appearances, she could wield her weapon with skill, then repair the damage it could do in the same breath. She had been studying long and hard, and had advanced a fair way into the ranks of clerichood, but still had far to go.

Spotting a tavern, she entered, wincing slightly at the smell of ale and sweat. Advancing towards the bar, she noticed an elf and a human talking intently, and took a seat nearby.
The bartender looked up. "Want a ale, doya?"
She shook her head. "No, alcohol clouds the spirits. Do you have anything else?"
He grunted. "Water."
She smiled and accepted the mug of water he offered, along with some of the stew he had in a pot above the fire.

..."Sounds like me you want to fight this wizard."

"I never said that."

"I'm only saying, It sounds like this wizards wants power, but his means seem inhuman. If something isn't done about these rouges soon there will be civil war. Nip the rosebud early as they say. What do you say, partners? I'm Ramza, by the way."

Awera glanced over at the couple, and cleared her throat politely. "Um, excuse me? I couldn't help overhearing. You are talking about the rogues that plague the country, yes?"
They turned, and the elf studied her closely. The man smiled slightly. "Yes?"
"And the wizard," Awera confirmed, "well, I've been traveling the last week. I was harassed on the road many times. To be honest, I'm quite sick of it."
The man who called himself Ramza nodded. "Most people are, hence the worries of civil war."
Awera nodded and sat up straighter. "I'm Awera, and if you're going to do something, I'm willing to help. If you will have me."
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Alexander---

I sat at a table sipping a glass of ale in the oddly quiet tavern. The only noise was coming from a conversation at the counter that I could easily hear. I had heard about the fighting and had decided he would go over and join them. Grabbing my ale and staff i marched over to the trio and said
"are you talking about fighting that old evil wizard:
"yes" said a man who was called Awera
"well then count me in, i haven't had a good fight in a hundred year and am itching for one, plus you need a wizard to fight a wizard"

"Evil old?" I thought. The word choice was funny. "Maybe. I guess that's what this is turning into." I told them. My own father. He said I'd never become much but I'd show him. I'd show him by killing him and dancing over his dead body. "I'm in." I agreed. We now had a group. This was going to be fun...

Name- Gasian (Gaz) Adahias

Race- Half-elf

Class- Bard

Age- Effectively 19

Appearance- http://aibryce.deviantart.com/art/Bard-29484226

Personality- He's a joker, and acts as such. He always appears happy, unless those he associates with are threatened, at which point he becomes very serious. He is the eternal optimist, and believes that there is always hope.

Bio- His mother was an elven sorceress, his father a human rogue. He was born with a latent talent for magic and learned his father's ingrained wanderlust and penchant for trickery. When he reached the age of ten, a wandering bard took him on as an apprentice, with the blessing from both his mother and father. He finished his training shortly after he turned eighteen, and has since spent most of his time playing in taverns in less reputable areas of town, often trying to help the owners make sure nothing goes wrong.

Weapons/Armour- Leather armour, a brace of knives, a hand crossbow and, of course, his violin.

Spells- Most of his spells deal with mind compulsions, although he does have a few minor performance tricks. All of his magic relies on music.

**

Gaz

Requests were rare on a night like this. The talk of the dark wizard terrorising the countryside, and the number of travellers stumbling into the tavern with their own wild stories, mean that no one needed a bard to sing any of the old tales, or even weave a new one. They were doing enough of that themselves. So he simply played, mostly mellow songs with a slight tune towards merriment. Tonight wasn't the night for music any more or less jovial than that, he could sense that much.

As he played, he listened to the talk, trying to pick up something useful. His old teacher had taught him that the most important thing a bard can do is play music, but after that, they must be able to gather as much information as possible.

He tuned his ear to one conversation in the room. The three people sitting at the bar had only just started speaking to each other, but they seemed more animated than most of the others in the room, who were drinking their miseries away.

"I'm willing to help, if you'll have me." he heard, and smiled to himself. He finished the song he was playing with a few quick movements of the bow, and then made his way to the others.

"Might I buy you all a drink?" He asked, smiling, "Sounds to me like you've got a story to be told. Or one that will need to be told."

Ramza studied the man well. Smiling he accepted is offer. "Not much to tell, we'll know more if we speak to the guards for information unless any of you have something to share?" He looked at everyone one at a time waiting.
I will always fight back, no matter what.
