Tyrel held Amanda til she fell asleep then laid her down. He walked to the bedroom and laid down.

"Goodnight." He said flatly.


**Tears**

Katy hit her pillow, not angry just a little upset as she layed down. She wanted to cry but she promised herself she wouldn't. Katy felt her cheek press gently against the pillow.

"Goodnight." she said, in almost a whisper and fell asleep.

At night she couldn't sleep, Tyrel had tensed, she had noticed not relaxing at all. She looked at the clock 2 AM.

Amanda started to cry. Katy got up, she didn't want Amanda to wake him up, just because he was difficult didn't mean she didn't care. She wasn't heartless. Katy walked into the room and picked up her baby. The little bundle wiggled in her arms.

"Hi, sweetheart." she whispered.

Tyrel felt the bed shift as Katy got up. He blinked and sat up rubbing his eyes. He heard Katy talking to Amanda and he sighed. What was so wrong with him that she didn't want to have anything to do with him. He got up and walked to the bathroom getting some water. He then walked over to where KAty was feeding Amanda.

"I didn't want to wake you." She said.

"I know, it's a habit now." He replied.

**Time to spice things up**

Katy felt her heart drop down into her stomach. She looked up at him. She nodded at his words, it HAD become a habit. She looked down at the baby, now in her arms asleep. She looked up to say something to him when she heard something CRASH! Katy looked at Tyrel.

"Stay here." he whispered freaked out just like she was.

"Like hell." she whispered back.

"Katy I mean it." he growled.

Katy put Amanda down in her crib and she followed.

There in the living stood two men, dressed in black, one with a gun.

Tyrel quickly put himself in front of Katy.

"What do you want?" He demanded hoping Katy would go get Amanda.

Katy touched the small of Tyrel's back, pleading him with her eyes to be careful what he was asking for.

The men simply stood there, they looked at each other. One laughed and the other simply aimed the gun at Tyrel.

"What are you doing?!" Katy shrieked.

The man moved his aim and aimed at Katy now.

"Katy, shut up." Tyrel growled. She could tell he was saying it to protect her. "What do you want?" he repeated.

"Your life to end." One ground out.

Tyrel kept himself planted between Katy and the men. He glanced towards the kitchen where Belle was looking at him as if waiting for a command. He swallowed hard, then glanced at the men. THere was a very small chance that this was going to work.

"Angriff." He said in a lowered tone. OUt of the blue Belle jumped into action jumping at the guy with the gun first and latching onto his wrist with her teeth. He moved in and quickly grabbed the gun slamming his fist into the other guy and then turning to the one that had Belle on his arm.

Katy shouted as she saw the other man pull a gun from behind. Now there were two, probably loaded guns, the man tried one last attempt to shoot Tyrel. Katy ran and hit the guys wrist, the shot rang out loud, Katy hadn't been Shot, but Tyrel had.

"Tyrel!" Katy screamed, the man had aimed for his head but because Katy moved it, it hit Tyrel's shoulder. The Man fought with Katy for the gun, with all his might the man hit Katy in the face, he was shorter than her but he'd managed to hit her hard enough to make her see stars and blood ran steadily down her nose, Katy looked over at Tyrel who was trying to keep the other gun away from the other guy, Tyrel was bleeding.... BADLY.

The man hit Katy again and this time she fell to the floor, the guy was quickly ontop of her, hitting her and ripping open her shirt. Katy kneed him, he hit her again.

"Bitch!" he yelled, he wrapped his hands around her throat.

Katy felt herself turning purple, until Belle growled and bit into the man's thigh. The Guy threw himself off of Katy and ran off.

Tyrel felt the bullet shoot through his shoulder and pain made it almost impossible to see. He finally hit the guy in the head knocking him out. He turned to see Katy laying on the floor. Amanda was screaming in the other room. Tyrel slowly moved over to Katy and he kneeled down next to her as his head swam.

"Y-y-you ok?" He asked before everything blacked out and he passed out.

Katy screamed. The Man woke up and ran into Amanda's room, Katy didn't notice, her eyes still swimming with stars. The window broke and Amanda's cries faded. Katy, still disoriented, got up from the floor, her shirt was covered in blood from her nose bleed, which was still running. She pulled Tyrel into her lap, praying he wasn't dead. She was crying, unable to even breathe. She had almost his entire torso in her lap.

"Baby, I'm... S-s-so.... Sorry." she cried rocking back and fourth. That's how one of the drag queens found them.

An hour later, Katy was at the hospital holding Tyrel's hand. The blood from her nose had dried, she had replaced her shirt as evidence, they had also removed Tyrel's clothes for evidence. Katy was so numb she couldn't think, the two men had taken her baby, and tried to kill her husband. At that moment she made a silent prayer, if Tyrel lived she would stay with him. She did love him and she WAS sorry.

A detective came into the room. He was in his early 30's

"Katy?" the man asked.

"Yes?" she asked, not letting go of Tyrel's hand.

"I'm Detecive Neis, we haven't been able to locate your daughter. I was wondering if you could answer some questions."

"I already told the chief my story." She lowered her eyes.

"I understand." he said. "Maybe when your husband wakes up."

Katy nodded, with tears in her eyes.

Tyrel groaned and he heared more voices. His shoulder was numb from whatever medicine they were pumping into him.

Where's Amanda's crying? His mind screamed. He'd heard Katy, but not Amanda. He shoved his eyes open.

"A-manda?" He barely pushed out. Katy looked down at him and her eyes filled with tears. No! NO! She can't be gone! He yelled in his head. He tried to sit up but only slumped back down against the bed.

"They took her." Katy whispered tears pushing out of her eyes. He growled, he knew he should've killed those men, or sent Belle to watch his baby girl.

"Belle?"

"At the vet, they threw her against a wall." Katy replied.

"Can they find our baby?" He nearly whimpered, he had to stay strong though. If they didn't find his little girl then he would get better and find her himself.

"They'll find her. You just need to rest, baby." Katy said pushing him lightly against the medical bed.

"How can I relax when they just took my daughter?!" he boomed. "And who the fuck are you?" he asked, staring at the dective.

"I'm Detective Eric Neis. We've been doing all we can to find your daughter." he said, sounding truely sorry. Eric's phone rang, he excused himself and left the room.

"I need to find her." Tyrel said sounding worried, thowing the covers off.

"No." Katy shook her head, and held him by his good arm.

He gave her a death look. "You expect me to sit here while those creeps have my daughter? I don't think so."

"Don't you think I want her back too?" Katy bit her lip to hold back tears. "We can't go out there looking for her, if they find out they could hurt her." Katy said.

"Well damnit Katy! They could hurt her no matter what." he growled.

Before Katy could say anything Eric walked back in. "Katy, Tyrel, starting now you two are offically in the witness protection program." he said.

Tyrel frowned. "What?" He demanded.

"Your going to be relocated and have your names and all changed." The man said.

"I don't know what your going to be doing, but I'm going to find my daughter!" Tyrel hissed.

"You can't." Eric replied.

"And why the hell not?" TYrel growled.

"Cause until I'm allowed to tell you more you'll just have to trust me and stay under our protection."

"And if I say no?"

"We'll arrest you and put you under it anyways."

"Then you better do that."

She glared at him. "Don't be difficult." she growled.

"Difficult?!" he shouted. "Our daughter is missing! Those assholes have her!"

Katy squeezed his hand. "Baby, you have to listen to me, your in pain right now. They will find her and bring her back. OK? Please don't make this harder than it is." she pleaded. "Just let him do his job."
