Tyrel walked into the resturant behind her and sat at thetable with her and hte drag queens ignornig the looks he got and not listening to the conversation. He wasn't sure he really wanted to hear what they were talkign abotu either.

The entire drive home was silent. When they got home, Katy tried to turn on a light, she flipped the switch once, twice, three times.

"Fuck." she cursed and took off her shoes, and began walking towards the bedroom.

She heard Tyrel behind her, he walked into the table. "Oof!" he grumbled, then he probably stubbed his toe, when she heard him muffle a "damn it."

"This wouldn't have happened if you had checked the breakers."

"Yeah, whatever." he growled.

"Asshole." she murmured.

"I'm tired of all this." He growled walking outside and looking for hte breaker messing with it a little until the power came back on. He walked back inside and to the table. "Katy, what did you do with those papers?"

"Their where yo left them." She called from the bathroom.

"No, they aren't!" He called back.

She was in the bathroom, putting her hair in a bun, she pulled her shirt over her head, underneath she was wearing a lime green tank top. She looked down at her belly. She rested her hand on the baby bump.

"No there not!" he shouted again.

"They should be!" she shouted back.

"Well there not!" he hissed.

"I don't know then, stop being such a jackass and look for them." she said, the baby kicked her. She pressed her hand against her stomach.

Tyrel growled and looked around. "THeir gone!" He yelled.

"Shut up!" She hissed.

"Fine, I'm going to bed!" He hissed.

Katy felt fresh pain ripple through her chest, she loved him. She knew that now. When she got into bed he was asleep. She layed next to him, she promised herself she wouldn't cry. But as she closed her eyes, she felt one tear come out. She didn't sniffle, she didn't clear her throat, she went to sleep, thinking about her baby's future. The baby twisted and she bit down on her lip. She turned just to look at Tyrel's face, it was full of tention, not peace like a face should be as a person sleeps. She was sorry for that. Everything was her fault, their marriage falling apart, them hating each other, the baby. But she thought of the baby as a blessing, although she knew he saw it a different way.

"Sorry." she whispered, although she knew he was already asleep. She closed her eyes and drifted.

WHen Tyrel woke up he went to the kitchen and started coffee. He hadn't slept well at all last night. He didn't want to divorce her. He didn't want to leave. He hoped those papers stayed gone until he could get her to come around.

Katy slept as long as she could, that way she knew that the morning sickness would pass and she wouldn't feel as tired. When she did get up, she noticed Tyrel asn't inside, he was working outside.

"What this time?" she grumbled. Katy went back into the bedroom to look at her cell phone, she looked at the calender on her phone, it had a reminder, she had a ultra sound today. She didn't feel like eating breakfast, she pulled on her matirnity jeans, a jacket and a purple scarf. She picked up her bag and headed out the front door.

"Where you going?" Tyrel asked, she turned around, just staring at him, not glaring, not smiling, not frowning, just... Staring. She didn't respond, she just started. "Umm... Hello?" he asked. "Anyone home... Katy?" he asked.

She blinked. "I'm going to have an ultra sound." she said. "Do you want to come with me?" she asked.

Tyrel looked a the water proofing paint he was putting up. It could wait.

"Sure, if you sure you want me." He said stepping off the ladder.

"It's fine." She replied.

"Give me a sec to close this stuff up." He said as he closed the paint can then slipped inside pulling clean clothes on and then following her out ot the car. "Want me to drive?"

without replying she just nodded. "When ever your ready." she shrugged.

He clibed in the drivers seat after letting her in her side. He started the engine and drove into town with her. He didn't know what to talk about, so they just rode in silence. Katy got tired of it for a little while and turned on the radio.

"OK, Katy, this is going to be very cold." The doctor informed her.

She nodded. "I know."

The doctor put the gel over her stomach and turned on the machine. "There we are." the doctor laughed.

"What is she doing?" Tyrel asked both he and Katy staring at the screen.

"She's playing with her foot." the doctor smiled. "I'm printing outa picture right now. In the meantime do you all want to hear her heartbeat?" he asked.

Katy nodded right away. The doctor put a stethiscope on Katy's stomach after wipping away all the gel. Katy smiled. "It sounds like a train." she smiled.

"Wow." Tyrel said as he listened to it. He ran his hands through his hair. He couldn't believe her heart beat sounded so real. She was so alive.

Katy stared at the picture while they drove home, well there home for now. She wondered what Amanda would look like. Would she look like Katy? Or would she look like Tyrel? Would she be tall? Or short? Katy now realized she was eight months, and soon, she'd be a mom. It scared her to death but yet she welcomed it with open arms.

Once they got home, Katy got out of the car quietly, something she did rarely. She jogged up the three step porch. She went into the room and started throwing things into a duffle bag.

Tyrel walked inside and grabbed some coffee then walked into their room.

"Where are you going?" He asked looking at her. He didn't want her to elave, she couldnt' leave. He was not going to let her take off have his baby and never let him see her. Even if he didn't want the kid, he was stuck with her coming and he wasnt' gonna lose her, or the kid.
