Katy finally pulled her eyes away. "You don't get it, do you?" she asked.
"Get what?" he asked. "The fact that your father, who made us get married in the first place, has just thrown divorce papers in our faces, yeah. I get it." he sounding angry.
He stood up, helping her to her feet.
"No-"
"Your father is one crazy mother-" he said.
"No Ty-"
"I can't believe he's your father-"
"Tyrel." she said. He turned to look at her. "My father knew this was going to happen, don't you get it?" she asked. "My father planned this out from the beginning. Once he helped your constuction buisiness, it was over. He payed you guys the money, he didn't think your business would hit it off, but it did." She shook her head and gripped the counter top.
"He wanted to be more apart of it. He got you drunk, to celebrate he probably told you. Then, when you were drunk enough he told you to marry me, you said yes, then he told Celeste about the birth control, she came to give it to me, but it was too late because we were already on our honeymoon. I didn't get pregnant when I was supost to. Once this baby comes along, he believes he can suck the companies money out of you, through our baby girl." Katy bit down on her lip. "And we helped him..."
