Homeschooling rulz!

I noticed that quite a few people are homeschooled on this site, so if you are, this thread is for us homeschooled people.
How many are??

YEAH!!!!! *raises hand* I'M HOMESCHOOLED!! Been homeschooled all my life.

*grins sheepishly* Count me in! Though I got to be in charge of what I learned... lol.

Like, I got to make up my own lesson plans and everything. It was really cool. I never got a formal lesson in writing until last spring.

Me Me Me!!! I've been to three different schools before until four years ago, when my parents finally found the right curriculem. I'm turning 14 now, (in a month) and I've always found homeschool WAY better than school, cause I'm learning SOOO much + I get to finish early every day and go see my horse, train the dogs and write a lot more!! It's a really great thing for kids and high school ppl, cause I also am graduating earlier and going to Vet school earlier... Very great!! The only down side is that schooled kids ignore you and don't want to be your friends any more. I make it up with animals and writing!

Grr...I wish I was...my teachers last year mostly taught by lecturing, and I'm a experimentation person (so therefore I don't really learn anything). But I'm such an extrovert...I'd go crazy just with my brothers...

I think, it depends on the person though, that you'd be way too isolated if you're homeschooled. Sure, you can get a better education if you do it right, but high school is about so much more than just academics.

I've been homeschooled most of my life. Probably only been to public and private school a total of 6 months. Being homeschooled is interesting. Not exaclty exciting if you ask me, but it's okay. However, I would have preferred to continue public high school or at least private school instead of being homeschooled.

I homeschooled in second grade! that was the best year ever!

I homeschooled last year. I kind of didn't exactly do much. *grins sheepishly* Has anyone ever read "The Teenage Liberation Handbook" by Grace Llewellyn? It's awesome but it always makes me feel inadequate cause all those other people do such cool things.

Not necessarily! I'm going to a community band. No loss for me! As for sports? Plenty of teams around... if only I were interested. Plus, I volunteer for my community a lot, so I get to meet new people. And, because I volunteer a lot, I've landed some pretty sweet jobs.

I like being isolated!!

Plus, i'm not that much of a socializer anyway, so homeschooling suits me fine. I have played in school sports teams though, and I do ballet. Most of my friends that I actually have, are all a coupla years older than me, too. =)
But...
I NEED A JOB!
