World Order

plot: What if, in an instant, every one dissapears? What if the only people left are the very young? Toddlers, children, teenagers, babies. The phones don't work outside the city, the internets down, and the tv as well. No one knows how or why it happened, but it happened. And then some of the kids get sick, and when they wake up they have powers, they can do things no normal people can.

Some of the kids just curl up at home, some try to terrorize the other kids. No one knows what to do. Then some of the crueler kids decide to rule, and to do so they try to make the psychic kids into their own private army. Now you are hunted, either by those who want to use, or those who fear you.

personality- Hunter's personality is slightly skewed. He jokes that he's an idealist by nature, a cynic by circumstance. He has a somewhat morbid sense of humour that people rarely get. The best way to describe Hunter is 'intense'. He's cool under fire and keeps his head in a situation, but he's also a hothead with a smoldering temper. In a way he's a natural leader, but he has no desire to be in a position of authority, and hates when people depend on him.

background- Hunter has abandonment issues, his dad walked out when he was four, and his mom went off the deep end, one day not long after she just drove her car off a cliff. Weirdly, no one knew she had a kid so he was left at home, alone, for two weeks. When they found him he was placed in foster care and bounced around from place to place. But he never connected with anyone. Hunter had developed the mindset that if the people he cared about were just going to leave or die then he was better off not caring about anyone at all. He's a loner.

powers- Hunter has two powers, the ability to shapeshift, and the manipulation of energy. He can make light, force fields, and if he's not carefull even kill. Not even he knows the extent of his energy abilities.

skills- Talented in several forms of martial arts, learned how to survive in a hostile enviorment, he can hunt and find food in the wild.

appearance- he is tall with long and shaggy dirty blond hair. he has green eyes and a nearly handsome face except for a scar running down from his forehead down to his chin passing his eye.
personality- He is generally kind of balanced with a good mix or calm, funny, mischievous but when he has a strong emotion it takes over him.
background- he used to live with his brother and parents but when the thing hit he was left alone his brother of 21 gone. Before the disaster hit he did not really have much importance to him. he just hung out with friends did pretty well in school though he got into a fight sometimes.
powers- he has super intelligence higher then most and he can control electricity even to the degree of creating it from thin air.
skills- he was into gymnastics before it hit winning a lot of awards for it and also has a 2nd degree black belt in tae kwon do

team- he works for the mean kids as a scientist and also an occasional field worker where he tries to help the kids escape instead of taking them in.

Personality: She is serious. Emily can't stand the kids who act like bullies and try to take them down. She is very intense.

background- Enna grew up in a normal house. Until she began having illusions that drove her nearly insane. She was placed in a mental institution. She wasn't physically crazy. But she was really mentally instable. She kept having random visions about the word coming to an end. It turned out nearly true. She just had a very powerful imagination and mind.

personality- Tough, Tough, Tough. She's very ambitious, never gives up, and is extremely strong. She's also very defiant. She's very frank so don't ask her if she thinks you look good unless you want the honest answer. Her life before is very vague but she can remember the big parts that changed her life. She's still a bit instable.

powers- With her extremely powerful mind she can move anything just by thinking it. She also has the power of imagination. She can imagine something and it will be.

skills- She's very clever and very original.

Personality: Ryan is a huge tomboy. She hates showing pain and hates to cry. She's very dark at times, and trusts men more than woman, considering all the drama women tend to bring. She's usually a goofball.

Background: Ryan grew up without a female influence. She'd watch football with her older brother and dad, and often at times would goof off with some of her brother's friends. When she was thirteen, she had to go to her father for 'advice' and the 'talk', but he sent her to one of his woman friends, who annoyed Ryan to the fullest, always talking about love and 'the one'. After about the third time Ry visited her she couldn't stand it anymore and took a baseball bat to the woman's good china. Ryan hates drama and can't stand love-struck people.

Powers- Anything to do with animals and the can manipulate darkness

Skills- She's got amazing aim, so anything to do with throwing weapons, and she took a kendo class, so she can use her father's longsword quite well. Ryan also took boxing since she was six and is amazing in first aide.

personality- Janet she is somewhat reserved. She is really kind, and gentle. She tries to help those around her even though she is ill.
JD She is a cruel person who hates her other half. She will do anything to kill. JD is skilled with guns and daggers.

background- Born prematurely, Janet has bad lungs and so she has Asama. She lived alone, so when everyone disappeared it didn't really effect her. She is an amazing artist.

powers- The all seeing eye. From touching someone she learns everything about them. Their past, present, future, strengths, weaknesses, hopes, dreams, everything; however there are some downsides. Sometimes it takes a while for her to learn, some of her visions need to appear when she asleep, and her mind is a wreck. Having multiple personalities. Janet and JD hate each other.

skills- Janet is skilled with drawing. She can draw out her dreams. JD is skilled at guns, daggers and swords.

background- He was always one of the more athletic kids at his school, although he didn't like the 'jock' label that was applied to him, due to the fact that he never really liked being at the centre of attention. Instead, he preferred to keep in the background of things. When the disaster hit, he was shocked at how drastically everything changed, but he welcomed his power with open arms. It, at least, was a small mercy.

personality- He's friendly, and gives most people a few chances to make a good impression on him, but intensely dislikes those who continually seem to be 'bad people' to him, to the point where he'd rather fight than talk to them.

powers- He can alter the density and state of matter of his own body, making it insubstantial enough to 'phase' through a wall or taking on a diamond-hard form. Mostly, he uses his ability to escape from the meaner kids.

skills- He has an uncanny sense of direction, and can find most things he needs just by picking a direction and turning when he feels like it. Furthermore, he's a trained long distance runner, and doesn't tire easily.

Appearance: Him

Personality: Kaidrec keeps to himself mostly, but is caring when he chooses to speak. It's hard to get to him. When he;s injured, he doesn't mention it, and he never gives away how he's feeling. He has the tendancy to choose heart over mind, but has the odd situation where he chooses mind over his heart. Many people have tried to read his mind, but failed. His soul is unreachable by almost everyone.

Background: Kaidrec never had parents -- that he knew of. He grew up on the streets alone, having to resort to stealing everything he needed. Until, once, he got caught. Wanted for breaking and entering and theft, Kaidrec prowled the shadows and only came out at night. He knows what he did was wrong, but what else was a boy to do when he grew up alone?


Powers: Master manipulator of shadows. He can bind them to do his will, hide himself, and somehow cover both his scent and sound. The perfect assassin.

Skills: Master of using hidden weapons such as daggers, but can also wield a long sword if necessary. He had to fight to keep himself alive on the streets, after all. He can also craft poisons, a skill he didn't know he had until everyone disappeared.

appearance- Imagine Alexander the Great with modern clothes. Including the hair. He also wears glasses.
personality- Somewhat nerdy, Alex has spent most of his life playing games. His favourite sorts were those involving strategy. As a result of his obsessions, Alex has become a bit anti-social, though just prior to the disappearance he was beginning to "get a life". Whether he continues to become more "normal" will depend on how well he interacts with everyone else who still exists.
background- Alex was born to a middle class British family. His parents pampered him for his entire life. Alex became interested in ancient history from an early age, particularly in Alexander the Great, who he has tried to emulate for the latter half of his life. He spent at least half of his time awake playing strategy games, and the rest studying. He did exceptionally well at school, though he was hardly a straight-A student.
powers- Alexander subconsciously inhibits other's powers. The potency of this power differs depending on the distance between Alexander and the power-user. If he is next to someone, they will find it almost impossible to use a power, but his power is barely noticable from a kilometre away. He can also focus this on an individual - this results in everyone else being free to use this power, but the inhibited individual will have their power turned against them whenever they attempt to use it (if they try to shoot fire at someone, they will catch fire, if they try to read someone's mind, they will instead send their thoughts to the "victim").
skills- An excellent strategist for his age. In his head he is a great leader, but he is hesitant to put his megalomaniacal imagination into practice. He would probably be a good advisor to someone in a leadership role, particularly where warfare (on whatever scale) is concerned.
