Ballow
Ballow ran away and to the cafe, but lost his way in the huge ship. He found himelf aimlessly searching for some type of window, but to no avail. He found himself entering a room where two people stood talking, one of them sheathed his sword, "Sure why not. Screw it, I'm tired of hiding anyways."
Ballow watched slightly confused as to where he was because there were 3 Drako bodies lying on the ground, freshly slain and it was then he decided to pronounce his presence, "So, this isn't the cafeteria, is it?"
One fo them looked to him, "No, this isn't the cafeteria. This is the Captain's Room."
"Damn." that was followed by a slight pause before a sparkle caught in hs eyes, "I've got interest on whatever tha crazy lady wants! Can someone lead me to the cafe?"
He pointed to one of them, "You! Show me where it is!"
And then, quick as flash he was dragging him from the room and they were already lost in the hallways. Ballow turned to the guy, "Say, you would know where the cafe is, wouldn't you?"
The guy's eyes narrowed in anger, "NO! Of course not! I just bloody got forced to join today!"
"Oh. Well, you get that. So what's your name?" the kender was calmer than the guy expected him to be considering the fact that he was yelling directly into his face.
The kender took a cautious step back and the guy figured it was because he was scared, but the comment he said afterwards, knocked that thought away, "Don't get too close, I don't want to be kissing another guy today."
The guy was slightly wary as he replied, "Kylar. You?"
Ballow grinned and handed him something from his cloak, a piece of paper. Kylar grabbed it and glanced at it curiously, it had written on it "Ballow Linx" in a signature type of writing.
What Kylar didn't notice in the confusion was that Ballow had somehow unsheathed his sword and was drawing it from the scabbard looking at it intensely. Kylar was at a loss for what to do for a second still holding the autograph in his hands.
Ballow smiled at Kylar with the drawn sword still dnageroualy close to his face, "You keep that, hey? It's cost a fortune someday."
Then Ballow proceeded to lick the sword. It seemed that he liked licking things, but it was also, (A.N I'm adding something in for the kender race okay?) the kender way of defining things.
He licked his lips for a second and swirled the taste around in his mouth. Then his face screwed up, "What have you been doing lately?"
"Running around? Fighting people? Escaping a prison?" the kender asked in annoyance, "Your blade tastes like sweat, blood and wood, you should look after it a bit more."
He put the sword back in its scabbard and handed it back. Kylar was half surprised that the kender actually managed to guess quite accurately. He stared at Ballow, who had a fixed grin on his face and Kylar said, "So, were lost?"
Ballow nodded, "It's good thing I have map in my cloak somewhere."
Kylar stated half angry, half confused, "What?!? Why would you make us wonder around if you had a map?"
Ballow tapped the side of his nose, "You know, if I hadn't gotten lost I would've never had the opportunity to meet you, now would I? . . Also, I forgot I had it. Not everyone has a wonderful memory."
He reached into his cloak and a crestfallen look splayed itsel;f across his face. Kylar stared at him, "What? What is it?"
Ballow fell to the floor in near tears, "I LOST IT!"
