Ballow

Ballow ran away and to the cafe, but lost his way in the huge ship. He found himelf aimlessly searching for some type of window, but to no avail. He found himself entering a room where two people stood talking, one of them sheathed his sword, "Sure why not. Screw it, I'm tired of hiding anyways."

Ballow watched slightly confused as to where he was because there were 3 Drako bodies lying on the ground, freshly slain and it was then he decided to pronounce his presence, "So, this isn't the cafeteria, is it?"

One fo them looked to him, "No, this isn't the cafeteria. This is the Captain's Room."

"Damn." that was followed by a slight pause before a sparkle caught in hs eyes, "I've got interest on whatever tha crazy lady wants! Can someone lead me to the cafe?"

He pointed to one of them, "You! Show me where it is!"

And then, quick as flash he was dragging him from the room and they were already lost in the hallways. Ballow turned to the guy, "Say, you would know where the cafe is, wouldn't you?"

The guy's eyes narrowed in anger, "NO! Of course not! I just bloody got forced to join today!"

"Oh. Well, you get that. So what's your name?" the kender was calmer than the guy expected him to be considering the fact that he was yelling directly into his face.

The kender took a cautious step back and the guy figured it was because he was scared, but the comment he said afterwards, knocked that thought away, "Don't get too close, I don't want to be kissing another guy today."

The guy was slightly wary as he replied, "Kylar. You?"

Ballow grinned and handed him something from his cloak, a piece of paper. Kylar grabbed it and glanced at it curiously, it had written on it "Ballow Linx" in a signature type of writing.

What Kylar didn't notice in the confusion was that Ballow had somehow unsheathed his sword and was drawing it from the scabbard looking at it intensely. Kylar was at a loss for what to do for a second still holding the autograph in his hands.

Ballow smiled at Kylar with the drawn sword still dnageroualy close to his face, "You keep that, hey? It's cost a fortune someday."

Then Ballow proceeded to lick the sword. It seemed that he liked licking things, but it was also, (A.N I'm adding something in for the kender race okay?) the kender way of defining things.

He licked his lips for a second and swirled the taste around in his mouth. Then his face screwed up, "What have you been doing lately?"

"Running around? Fighting people? Escaping a prison?" the kender asked in annoyance, "Your blade tastes like sweat, blood and wood, you should look after it a bit more."

He put the sword back in its scabbard and handed it back. Kylar was half surprised that the kender actually managed to guess quite accurately. He stared at Ballow, who had a fixed grin on his face and Kylar said, "So, were lost?"

Ballow nodded, "It's good thing I have map in my cloak somewhere."

Kylar stated half angry, half confused, "What?!? Why would you make us wonder around if you had a map?"

Ballow tapped the side of his nose, "You know, if I hadn't gotten lost I would've never had the opportunity to meet you, now would I? . . Also, I forgot I had it. Not everyone has a wonderful memory."

He reached into his cloak and a crestfallen look splayed itsel;f across his face. Kylar stared at him, "What? What is it?"

Ballow fell to the floor in near tears, "I LOST IT!"

I'm a little lost here guys sorry i don't get much computer time

Malic Legem

Wakes up slowly rising up onto his feat from the floor. "Mistoke for a demon always why the hell is that"
the gremlin said to himselve. sees a door open in front of him. A shifter right just his luck. a girld shifter at that.

"Hmm" the shifter said to herselve. "he said that their were three dead corpses in here.I see only two dead corpses and a live one."

" I am not a corpse and don't plan on being one anytime soon thank you much. Furthermore I'd like to thank the person that ran me through with his sword, should't they you know check to see if the people they swing at are actully their enemy and not a prisoner." Malic said in a haughty tone.

"I see" said the shifter" I am sorry for the inconvience my name is Jalliveri and i will not be eating you today welcome aboard the ship of the lion hearts. now if you would be so kind please move away from my food."

Malice had the hunch that if he didn't do as he was told he would probably become part of the meal.

*There have been severe inconsistancies, I've tried to sort it out, see the discussion thread*

Jalliveri examined the three corpses. At first she had only seen two, and that Gremlin, but now she saw that a third had fallen awkwardly under a table. No precision to the strikes, just brute strength. But then, if you had the strength of a golem, you didn't really need precision.

Aksendrei had made her promise only to ever eat the people he gave her permission to, which she doubted would ever be very many. However as she cast her gaze over the third assassin, the lone Drakos of the group, she started thinking. Drakos were half dragon, and dragons were basically reptiles. Lizards and crocodiles were animals, even if they didn't taste very nice. So really, Drakos weren't really fully people and she could eat this one if she wanted.

She tilted her head. People were talking in the room, but not to her so she didn't listen. She was a creature of her word and she'd decided she could eat this Drakos without breaking her word, so she hefted it's body over one shoulder and began carrying it to her room.

She'd have to prepare the meat carefully if it was going to last a trip through Oskaggar
So you're going to kill a god. Sure. But what happens next?

Aksendrei

Aksendrei looked at the gremlin suspiciously. Supposedly a prisoner of the Oskaggrites, Aksendrei wasn't so sure if that story was entirely true. He had accepted Kylar on the ship with little hesitation, but he felt he could trust tall humanoids more than small ones. Even so, it wouldn't be right to abandon the gremlin.

"What's your name?" He asked, sitting next to the gremlin.

"Malic. Malic Legam."

"Where are you from, Malic?"

"I am a judge of Terrinsaw."

Aksendrei scratched his head.

"Terrinsaw...sounds familiar. Actually, your names rings a bell. You said you were a judge? That's probably why, I suppose."

Aksendrei was of course referring to his Privateering days. He had been accused of piracy on numerous occasions.

"Being a judge," Aksendrei said, "I suppose that means you have good judgement."

Malic made a "well duh!" expression.

"How would you feel about joining the crew for a while," Aksendrei suggested, "just until I get a good opportunity to take you home?"
I refuse to acknowledge the existence of this signature.

"home" said Malic "doesn't sound like a very good place for me to be right now. I mean I just got abuducted from there. That being said though I could stay on for awhile things might be intresting. Actully know i have a hunch things will be intresting but what mind you would I do works kind of my thing and everyone else has a job here I kinda would feel put off and out of place if I didn't."

Malic thought to himselve this guy really doesn't trust me. but putting it that way i wouldn't trust me as far as i could throw me.

"trust me captain I'll try to do anything i can" Malic said grinning.

*No offense light-devil but the sword is very important to Kylar, along the lines of 'touch it and you're dead' important*

Kylar-

He glanced down at the little kender in bafflement. Great, now they were both lost. Kylar sighed and shook his head in exasperation. "Well then we may as well just wander around. We're bound to find someone who can tell us where everything is eventually."

Raon

Raon walked through the ship and made his way to the captains quarter with a mop to rid the blood of the dead bodies. He was walking down the halls and then he saw the darko with someone from the ships crew he did not know the name of. As soon as they had some much had seen him though the unnamed one ran up at top speed.
"hey. yeah we are lost , do you know the way to the cafe" the man said
"yeah, its just up those stairs, then you take to lefts and then you'll come to a long hall and you take the last right turn and its at the end of the hall."
'thank you" the man said and then he ran back grabbed the darko and then dragged him up the stairs.
"man some people on this ship are strange" the golem said

Ballow

Ballow glanced at Kylar for a second then smiled, his tantrum lost, "Sorry 'bout taking your sword. I can tell it means a lot to you."

Then he stood and brushed the dirt off of his cloak, "You coming?"

Kylar frowned, "Where?"

"Where else? To the cafe!" then kender said in an exapserated tone.

"I thought you said we were lost?" Kylar asked.

Ballow grinned, "Well, we were until I saw this sign!"

He pointed to a sign on a dorr which read, "Cafe." Kylar rubbed at his forehead. And Ballow marched.

Pretty much no one was in and Ballow glanced around inquiringly, "Where do you think they all are?'

Kylar shrugged, "Well, we're landing at pot soon, so maybe there prparing food for th trip?"

Ballow slapped him on the back, "Good idea!"

"Idea?" Kylar asked not liking the sound of it.

"Yes, let's sneak in like you said." Ballow replied while creeping towards a dorr which read, "Staff only".

"I didn't say anything like tha-" he was cut off by Ballow placing a hand over his mouth and pulling him to the ground. For a kender he was surprisingly stong and that took Kylar.

"SHH!" Ballow sprayed furiously into Kylar's ear. So Kylar remained silent, not willing to be caught as a weirdo just after he joined.

Someone walked out of the back room and left the door swinging and as they left before the back door closed Ballow grabbed it and literally rolled in. Kylar followed slowly with a sigh.

To both their surpirse no one was in the kitchen either. Ballow stood and frowned, "How strange."

Kylar had to admit that he was right, it was strange, "Maybe their on a break?"

Ballow sighed, "But that's not fair!!! I have to get . . marz-a-l . ."

Kylar offered, "Marzipan?"

Ballow grinned, "Yeah, I have to get that because she black mailed me so she wouldn't tell that I accidentally kissed him!"

Kylar was somewhat lost in his ramblings.

I tell the neophyte: Write a million words–the absolute best you can write, then throw it all away and bravely turn your back on what you have written. At that point, you’re ready to begin.
