Hello! Yes I am a newbie here. My name is Jamie and I love to write (who doesn't?) I also read a lot and is often called nerdy (not that I really care) Oh, and I draw a lot too. I'm pretty easy going and carefree. I listen to a lot of music, especially when I'm writing. I'm in high school and I hate it when I write because I have to and not because I want to. I'm known to sing during gym class (Mainly because I'm bored) and I am definitely more creative than sporty. Hmmm, what else? OK, well if you want to know anything else, feel free to pm me.

Anyway, I love writing, and I love reading, which is why I'm here. I also love music, tea, and things that smell good, which is not why I'm here. I slip into serious lapses in proper capitalization, not because I'm ignorant of capitalization rules, but because I have this weird feeling that it more aptly portrays the way that I talk when I don't capitalize. But I hear that's not really appreciated here, so I'm doing my best to befriend the shift key

So, I'm Shorty. I do have a lot of other nicknames though. Just try to stick 'Short' in a name somewhere and we are good. Ha. I'm new! xD I am a nerd. Nerds rule!!!!!! I tend to zone when I'm reading a good book. Which means I can stay in one spot for a countless number of hours. I also like writing. I wrote my first story when I was 6 years of age. My first poem at 12. I was reading by the time I was 4. See??? Told you I was a nerd. I hope I get to meet all of the awesome ninjas of this community!!!

I'm new, I don't really know why I made an account here, I am not a person who writes endlessly but I hvae written before (maybe once or twice out of school) and I enjoy writing, it isn't that. I am just confused and at a cross-roads-somewhere I have been for a very long time (4 years now) I just guess I thought i could get some kind of support/avice from this place on what to do next.

forgot to mention i have been told i am a good writer and i was going to pursue it but didn't. Hence my cross-roads. maybe some kind of re-assurance is what I am looking for. I never do believe anyone who says i can write well though, there is always something at the back of my mind telling me I am not good enough. i know it takes time and hard work, learning the ropes etc...i understand all that and have been told countless times by various groups of people.

I don't really care for, like, how shall I say this? People that make fun of the way I talk, like, using like in mostly every sentence I word. It's just a habit that can't be stopped. Hey there! My name is Emily. I'm new too. So far, I have found this site to be a bit confusing. Mostly the point system and such. I am trying to get the hang of it, but it it not really working out so far.

Hi, WhimsicalWorm here, a fourteen year old girl and I've been on the site exactly 5 minutes now. I've been a fanfiction reader and writer for a while now and I've also loved writing original work a long time before that. Lately I've realized that I needed to post up some of my work to get a second opinion. I've been experimenting on different writing sites for teenagers and trying to figure out which ones I like best. My favorite right now is CritiqueCircle.com, because people are encouraged more to review your work and a yahoo writing group I've recently joined.

I'm working on the first draft of a book right now and maybe hope to publish it one day as long as its good enough. I don't expect it to be published anytime soon though, the earliest being a couple of years and so that is still a really long time goal. In the meantime, I'm working on finishing it and editing it properly. I've already got some feedback for the first chapter so I'm in the process of looking through the critiques and all that.

Anyway, apart from that I love going on Social MMOs like Habbo as well as MMPORGS and RPGs because its different and sometimes they help me with writers block. I'd like to say I'm a philosopher but I know I'm just kidding myself. Other than that I don't really know what else to tell you so I'll just stop here then.

I do have a question though: What are the points for?
