Hi, I'm another newbie to the site...joiner I am.

At the moment I am watching Greenbay Packers Own the Giants and am a little distracted, but I felt the need to introduce myself now. It's getting alittle boring in my house. Hey I am new here as well. I am a girl. I am the kind of writer that will start a really good story and get on track then completely ditch the idea. I know this is a common habit, but I'd really like some pointers on how to have it happen less often. I write poetry and fiction and get most of my inspiration through music and dreams. About 75% of my stories come from dreams. Music, I like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and a few bands no one knows about. Aside from writing I dance and play basketball, but most of the time I will carry around my laptop incase something brilliant comes to mind. My grammar needs some improvement, but I am ready for the critique when offered. I really hope I can help other people with their work. So I hope everyone enjoys what I bring to this site.

Hey, As one can guess, I'm new here. The message I got said I should be introducing myself, so here I am.
I am a 16 year old girl and a High School student. I love English, its easily my best subject. I am also a Science student, though I'm not quite sure why I opted for that stream ( life has been hell since then).
I write mostly Fanfiction, but am considering upgrading to writing full fledged stories, which I hope to post here. Other than that, I write some stray Poems when I get the inspiration.
I love reading Historical fiction, Fantasy, Mystery novels, etc. But generally, anything well written.
Anyway, That was to introduce myself and I hope I have done that well enough.

Hi, I'm new. I write stories and the occasional poem, though they usually don't get finished. I hope to change that someday... I'm a photographer and take pictures all the time. I like reading mostly science fiction and fantasy, as long as it's good.

Er, hello,
My names Kinzee, and I'm new around here. Um... Yeah. I love creating crazy characters and directing videos, as well as writing scripts; I guess that's the writer in me coming out. My grandmother, who's a writer, recommended this site to me, since she knew I loved to write. I can't stand it when people use chat text in story, and say things such as 'dat' instead of that. I'm alright as spelling, and usually catch my mistakes. As for punctuation, I'm very big on using commas and capitalization correctly. My dreams are to become a journalist one day and get a novel published. I'm usually on Fanfiction.net, chatting on a forum with some of my internet friends, and writing. I live on a farm, and adore my Great Pyranees puppy... Yeah. I guess that's enough about me. For now.

Hello Everybody,

I'm new (really? I couldn't have guessed! *fakesarcasmsarcasm*), and clearly nervous or I wouldn't be inserting such bad jokes this early in. I'm 20... I just turned 20 and I actually hate it pretty bad. (I want to be 19 again!) That aside... I really don't know what to say. They said post something here... so here I post. I can't decide if I should post something of my own first or just jump into critiquing (I'm in a critiquing kind of mood today).

So... about me, I'm 20, female, living in Georgia, up at 4:00 am for no good reason. I'm a writer (clearly), so far I've written one Novel which is quickly shrinking into a Novella the more I edit, plus various short stories, and a couple of very short plays. I'm Activities chair for my College's Literary Society, and I'm stubborn... really, really, really stubborn. I write mainly in fantasy... I suppose you can call it urban fantasy, modern fantasy, whatever. The first book ever read to me was The Hobbit, and I was raised on C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.

I'm also really verbose, and once you get me started talking I have trouble stopping. So I'll stop now before I say too much.

I am sure you will find yourself loving YWS more and more each day -- I know I do! If you have the time, you should go do a review or two to get some points and help fellow members out. Also, be sure to check out the clubs we have on YWS, as they allow you to meet and greet and talk with people who have interests similar to yours.

Hi everyone,
I'm Pari(: I don't usually post an introduction if I join a forum or something - I guess I'm a bit too shy. But I've been lurking, and I really do think this site looks like an amazing resource and a friendly community, so I thought I should say hi.
I'm Indian, I live in Canada. For the longest time, I was convinced I'm going to be a doctor, but I'm taking social sciences/history/business management/law in grade eleven to go to law school after high school. Reading is easily my biggest passion and I've suffered with an inability to keep money in my wallet without buying a book.
Umm... not really sure what people say in introductions. I don't want to bore anyone or look like a rambling self-centered maniac, so I'll just say that I've always been proud of my writing, but never able to get any constructive feedback on it. My parents and friends say it's nice just to be nice. I'm really hoping that posting here is going to be a positive change for me... a chance to get help as well as be exposed to other people's writing, and critique (hopefully!).

You really don't have to be shy.. And I am pretty sure you don't bore anybody by telling us who you are. I [ at least ] am more than happy to read a description of someone. And I would really like to know you better, and read your work.
