I...do you write them for a certain genre? Like...some people write stuff that is meant to be rapped, I guess. I don't really know.

Hey YWS, I'm Futuristic. Joined yesterday, and have been checking out the site ever since. So far, seems cool, and I look forward to getting more into it. Seems like a site I could get addicted to if I'm not careful .

I've just finished high school, and am spending a lot of time assessing my writing skills, practising, and seeing if I can make something magical now, or will I need to take further studies to get better (I'm a bit impatient to get these ideas down this minute, but understand that I could get a lot better with a college writing class most likely).

May check out the lyrics section (think I read something about people writing raps?), and will definitely try my hand at reviewing other's work, though I can only give opinions based on my experiences as a long time reader (thousands of books read so far) since I'm the last person who'll try advising others on the best way to write.

Will most likely post at least one of my experimental novel ideas, and see what others think, though I must warn that I've been told I like to go on a bit in my writings (not sure if this post is considered long for this type of thread, but I honestly can't help myself). I love long books, and my favorite ones are all part of reasonably long series. As long as it's good, then I'll always want it to be long.

Okay, I'm going to shut up now, this isn't the time for my life story. . . .I'll post that later .
