Anyway, what kind of names? Indian/Spanish/French/English/japanese/chinese/Thai???
It would be better if you mentioned that.

Hm, there's a website called Seventh Sanctum. It has very many generators for names, and I'd suggest going there. Here's the link.

There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

For a girl? Here's a French name:

Aurelie. I adore that name.

Well, those are some names I like, but most likely you best better look through some of those websites people have mentioned.

for a boy? is he formal-like or maybe rough and edgy?

for a more breathtaking sort of boy you'd want something very formal, like William or Phillip.

If your going for something more... kinda rough like the guy who gets into trouble, go with something shorter, blunt like the character, like matt or jake.

for girls, well girls are a tough one. you dont want to use one to normal that everyone always hears, cause someone will ultimately put the book down a lot of the time if the name is too overused. i know thats sounds weird but its really a subconcious thing.

like maybe use something pretty like Miya, or Reina. If your going to use one the everyone would know, try something classic, like emily (my personal favourite) or elizabeth. maybe even carrie.

it also depends on your preference. the name has to suit the character. think of it like naming your children. you would give them no other name but that and im sure you'll soon realize what you'll like.

I try to choose names that have to deal with the genre that i am writing about.

Say if the people are from the victorian era, given victorian names like: Elizabeth, Victoria, Edward, James and such.

and so forth and so on.
