Ok...am I too late to make a character? I'll post anyway, I've never done a storybook before but here's my character:

Name: Lyza Georgina Freddy
Age: 14
Gender: F
Reason for being in the hospital: Visiting grandmother who is dying
Appearance: Blue hair, freckles, punkish, African American, chocolate brown eyes, skinny,
Personality: Very smart though rebellious so wears punk style clothing to hide her "nerdiness". Has no interest in visiting her grandmother though mother made her go in a last attempt to make her "civilized". Pure genius.
History: Bad relationship with parents, loner, no one gets her, aces all her tests, accepted into Harvard.
Other: Wants friends badly though shy and doesn't know how. Up for love ^^

Okay guys! We are starting, but there is still plenty of room for more people to join.

Emily

Emily shivered. It was getting cold in the hospital. She assumed that it was still snowing.

Preoccupied, she didn't notice where she was going, so she walked straight into Sam.

"Oops! Sorry!" She picked up the chart she had been holding.

"That's okay. I am going to do a major surgery, so I am a tad bit preoccupied also."

Emily left him and walked into room 162, where a patent had a skateboarding accident, and he had several broken ribs and a concussion with a slight touch of amnesia.

"Daniel?" She inquired to a black haired, blue eyed boy.

"Yeah," He looked at her questionably, indicating the darkness of the window. Seeing as they were on the first floor, it was odd, because there were usually street lights flashing.

Emily walked over to the window and opened it.

"Oh no." It was solid snow. The window was about ten feet up. They were snowed in.

Daniel

Daniels ribs were hurting like hell, he lied back but that didn't help. Hayley sat in a chair watching him.

"You didn't have to come" He said to her as she cried a single tear.

"Your my biggest fan, I had to come" She replied trying to smile.

Lilly looked around the waiting room her side killing her and her arm screaming in pain. She fell inand out of conciousness.

"We'll get to you in a minute, miss." A nurse said walking by. Lilly had driven to the hospital after being thrown by her horse. It had taken her a while to get headed this way sense she passed out a few times as she put her horse up and hten had o keep pulling oer ot keep from having a wreck. Her parents were out of town on a rodeo tour without her sense she had to be at school.

"Are you ok?" The guy next to her asked.

"Ya." She slurred as everything started to go black again. The darkness took over, but she could still hear.

"CAT!" She heard the guy yell. Why was he calling for a cat?

"What's wrong?" A voice asked. Then she felt a hand hold her wrist taking her pulse and everything started to focus again.

"I just passed out." LIlly managed to say. "No big deal."

Tiff-

A small snow white girl sat in a hospital bed. Her hair was like a fiery wave of insanity, and her piercing blue eyes felt like a gun was pointing at you. A large scar on her left cheek falters her almost perfect face. The small girl was only 7; however she had seen more disturbing things than most people ever do. The curdled a small brown teddy bear in her arms. On a table besides her was a bright red ball. A nurse entered the room. She was wearing blue scrubs, had brown hair and baby blue eyes. The nurse was holding a tray with a plate of food, a cup of milk and two pills. She smiled at the little girl. "Hello sweetie. I'm Anna." She placed the tray on the table besides her.
The girl smiled. "I'm Tiff."
Anna felt a little bit nervous about the girl; however she pretended nothing was wrong. "Aww, that's a cute little teddy bear, what's his name?"
The girl looked down. "His name is Robbie."

Anna

"What a cute name." the girl smiled at my response. She hugged her bear closer to her chest.

"He's my best friend." the girl said sweetly. Just then my buzzer vibrated.

"Sorry sweetie, but I need to go. Have a nice dinner." I said before running out of Tiff's room and down to the operating room.

Cara

I put the blender on high as I liquified a chicken dinner for someone in the Alzheimer's wing. They probably didn't have any teeth, but I wouldn't know. I only got the food orders. Tonight I was on the night shift and only got a fifteen minute break. I would probably be passed out in the back room for my whole break considering all these orders coming in.

"Soup, where is my soup!" I screamed. The cooks were scrambling with the spices to get it into our large pot of Butternut Squash Soup. It was our main dish tonight considering how cold it was.

Sam

I washed my hands before putting on my gloves. Anna came rushing into the operating room and spotted me.

"Your late." I said.

"Sorry but I was with another patient." Anna sighed.

Anna

"So was I but someone took over telling me to come down here. I got pulled out of doing major surgery to fix someone's arm!" Sam exclaimed angrily. I knew only one person who could persuade Sam to drop what he's doing: Cat. I decided to change the subject.

"So who's the patient?" I asked. Sam looked through a file and answered.

"Lilly. She broke two ribs and her upper arm is fractured in three different places. She's had surgery once before to get her tonsils out. She's not allergic to anesthesia." That's all I needed to know. We got into our clean scrubs and gloves right before our patient was wheeled in.

I took the mask from the anesthesia bag and had my hand ready at the knob. I smiled down at the girl who seemed to be semi-conscience.

"Lilly, it's going to be alright. The pain is going to stop." I said. I knew the broken ribs must be painful. She smiled weakly up at me. I could see Sam getting his tools together. He finally nodded towards the anesthesia to begin.

"Count back from ten and when you wake up it will be all over." I said reassuringly. I secured the mask over her face and turned the knob.

"Ten...nine...eight..."

Catherine and Jasper~

Catherine laughed to herself silently, watching her younger brother watch Lilly be wheeled out of the room. She cleared her throat, attempting to bring him back to reality. With a sigh she began to speak. "And he watched to beautiful girl being wheeled out of the room, his heart aching to hold her against his ch-"

"Shut up Catherine!" He shouted helplessly. Catherine laughed lightly and strode out of the room, Jasper on her tail. "Aren't you supposed to be doing sugery with the rest of them?"

"Nope. Chief won't let me till I'm more experianced." She rolled her eyes and Jasper laughed loudly, only to be slapped upside the head. "Shh!" He stuck his tongue out. "Beside that's Sam's main job, next to one of the older doctors."

"Sam Marko?" Japer questioned and Cat nodded. "I don't like him."

"You don't like any guy that's over twenty and younger than forty," Catherine rolled her eyes, laughing lightly.

"Exactly!"

~Emma Grace~

Emma twirled down the hall, her pink cast covered in sloppy handwriting of her first grade class. Old people smiled at her and the nurses spoke in hushed voices about her mother. Emma stuck her tongue out at one of them and giggled loudly, jetting down the hall and into a hospital room that held a small girl with a teddy bear clutched against her. Emma smiled, glad she found another kid, and ran over to the tall bed, pulling herself up and pulling a bunny out of her small sack that she wore. "Hi! I'm Emma Grace and this is Flopsy! Who're you?!"

Tiff-

Another girl found her. She smiled at her. "Hello. I'm Tiff."
THe other girl giggled. "I'm Emma."
She got onto the bed. As they chatted another nurse entered the room; however she wasn't nice. "Great more stupid brats." She sighed.
Her name was Lisa.

Emma~

Emma scrunched her face up in disgust. Lisa had never liked her and the feeling was mutual. "You're the stupid brat!" Emma giggled, sticking her tongue out.

"What did you say!" Before Emma could say anything Lisa had Emma's one-eyed rabbit in her manicured hand, holding him by his ear high above Emma's head.

"Hey! Give him back!" Emma screeched, jumping up to grab the pink rabbit, only to miss each time.

Lilly-

Lilly woke up on a hospital bed and groaned. Pain meds always made her feel groggy. She swung her feet over the bed and stood up standing still so she didn't pass out from getting up. She pulled wires out of her wrist and then stuck them on a machine that she knew would fake a heart beat for a few minutes so she could slip out.

"Where are my clothes!" She hissed as she shuffled around the room before she found them. She wasn't about to stay around a hospital just because she broke a rib or to and her arm. She looked at the cast and rolled her eyes, pink! They put PINK on her arm. She hated pink. She changed into her clothes and looked at the wraps around her midsection. Least they weren't casts.

After she got dressed she slipped out of the room and walked down the hall.

"HEY! Give him back!" She heard a little girl cry. She looked in a room to see a nurse holding up a stuff rabbit. She slipped in behind the nurse snatching away the stuffed animal.

"It's immature to bully little kids." She hissed at the nurse handing hte stuffed animal back to the little girl.

"You aren't allowed in here." HTe nurse said. "Are you a patient?"

"No! I'm here to visit a friend of mine. I've got a notion to write in a report on you for being rude to patients and stealing little girl's stuffed rabbits." She growled.

*BWAHAHAH! EVIL LITTLE GIRL!*

Tiff-

Lisa was picking on Emma, so Tiff picked up her ball and threw it at Lisa. It smacked her hard in the face. Lisa didn't see it coming so she dropped. Emma's bunny. Lisa stared at Tiff. "You little brat."
Tiff smiled. "Are you sure you wanna play?"
Lisa shook, that little girl was seriously disturbing. Lisa left the room. "What the hell?" She wondered.

Emma~

Emma smiled widely as the girl gave her Flopsy back and Lisa ran out of the room. "Hey! You're the girl that Uncle Jasper was staring at!" She giggled loudly. "Your cast matches mine!" She smiled again. "Hey! Tiff! I'll be back in a little bit! I want to show Jasper that the girl he was staring at is alive again!" Emma grabbed the older girl's hand and pulled her towards the main room, where her mom was teasing her uncle. "Uncle Jasper! Look!" She laughed loudly, pointing up at the girl.

Jasper and Cassidy~

Jasper turned towards his niece in shock, only to find the girl from before, Lilly, staring at him and his sister. Cassidy immediately went forwards and scooped Emma Grace into her arms, twirling in a circle before turning back to Lilly. "Miss Lilly, your parents have already been contacted. They're were on their way home, but unfortuanately the snow here is making their airport cancle all flights. I'd like if you head back to your room. Jasper will take you and I'll send a nurse to hook you back up."

**Chup, it's Catherine (sp) not Cassie. **

"Um, acctually I rather go home." Lilly ground out. Her ribs started to hurt sense she had been pulled by the little girl.

"You can't, you need to stay here, your ribs were broken pretty bad and you need to stay here incase they don't heal right. Plus, we can't prescribe you pain meds without your parents persmission." The lady doctor said.

"They'll be fine, and I"ll survive wihtout the meds. I made it here on my own didn't I?" She ground out. She didn't like hospitals.

"I'm sorry, but only your parents can sign you out. You can't just leave." The lady replied.

"Like you could stop me." Lilly said turning towards the door. THe nurse looked at the guy then they walked over and stood in her way gently grabbing her shoulders and turning her around. "I'm not staying here, you can't keep me here!" She hissed. She needed to go home, she needed to take care of her horses, she couldn't stay in a hospital! Hospitals were horrible, they were what killed her older brother and grandpa.

Sam

I looked at my watch and noticed I had off in a few minutes. I had done so many operations today I couldn't count, yet I wasn't tired. Plus, there was one person I knew had off at around this time and I wasn't going to waste my few minutes hiding in a back room.

I spotted her walking through the hallways and I was pleased to see she wasn't holding any medical charts.

"Hey Cat. You off right now?" Catherine looked over at me and smiled. She checked her own watch and then answered,

"Yeah, I have a half hour."

"Well, would you like to go out for some coffee?" I requested hopefully. Her face fell as she replied,

"I would love to, but we're snowed in. No one's leaving for home today."

"Oh... well do you want to go to the cafeteria then? I know someone who will make us some fresh coffee." I grinned.

"Sure, let's go."

~Anna~
I walked into the room where Lilly sat propped up on her bed with many pillows, staring out the window. She looked so forlorn and sad. Jasper walked in the room with me and beamed at Lilly.

"I got the ice cream you were talking about." Jasper said heartily. "The cinnamon kind."

Lilly looked over, smiled, but then resumed her stare outside the window. We were on the first floor, so there was nothing to see. It was just darkness.

Jasper's face fell while he quietly placed the bowl of ice cream by her side.I walked over toward her bed and sat down.

"What's wrong?" I asked. "Does something hurt?"

"No," she lied. "I just want to go home. I hate hospitals and I hate pain medication."

I listened to her as I hooked up her IV. I smiled at her.

"You know, you technically should be sedated. Your injuries are pretty bad and you need your rest for everything to heal. Plus, that's mainly for your broken ribs. Hurts when you breathe, right?"

She looked at me with shock, but shook her head stubbornly. Jasper sat in a chair in the corner watching our conversation, but mainly looking at Lilly with concern. I looked at the two of them and decided to leave.

"Just be happy your still conscience." I said with a smile before getting up to leave.

Lilly:

"You'd be surprised how much of that junk it takes to knock me out." Lilly growled

"WE know, remember we had to knock you out already once." THe lady smiled before slipping out.

"Why don't you like hospitals?" The cute guy in the chair asked.

"No one lives long when they've been in a hospital." SHe replied a sshe started out the window.

"Everyone's been in a hospital, that's where they are all born." He replied.

"I meant if they get sick." She replied as she slowly turned around and laid down stair at the ceiling and then grabbing the bowl of icecream and eating it. "Thanks, by teh way."
