haha, I always knew it was books, and I can see the cover and pages, but I can only see one disformed open book...

I never saw the open book. It always blended into the white behind the icon.

I still say it looks like a theater mask. But it's flip-flopping between that and a pile of books. (Oh, and I do that often. If an image can be seen two different ways, I can see it two different ways)

I always thought it was a flashlight. Like, for reading under your covers at night when your parents think you're sleeping. I have that down to an art.

But I guess I can see it now. Kind of. If I squint, kind of rotate my head, and tilt my laptop at a certain angle...nope. :) Still don't see it.

I tried snapshooting and enlarging it in Paint. Verdict: It's a book.

Pile of books. Noticed that on the YWS Backup site where they have the image big and in your face. Hard to miss. Took me ages, though.

I never even noticed it before now! It looks like a theater mask to me to though. I can see the pile of books, but it's kind of squished.
Ready and willing to rip your work to shreds! (That is if you want it) Check out my "will review for food" thread.

Yeah. I assumed it was a theater mask and never really questioned it. Funny, though, how now when I look at it I can see the books.

In our defense, it is really tiny.

You know, it might be funny to have a contest about this. You'd have to write something around/about the object you think the icon is!

^Hopefully that made some amount of sense...

HA-HA I remember the first time I saw it; I was just said to myself “Okay Telina, let’s not try and figure that one out.”

I thought it was a distorted open book, with the cover, and a little stand, and the pages towards the back...

Well, there you go. Lol.

Ha ha, It bugged me for a while, then i just assumed that it was a paper bag with eyes and a mouth drawn on with horns, like... you make ordinary stuff come alive and all of that stuff that you do with writing... fantasy and whatnot. Ha ha, I can kinda see the books though!
