I never saw the open book. It always blended into the white behind the icon.
I still say it looks like a theater mask. But it's flip-flopping between that and a pile of books. (Oh, and I do that often. If an image can be seen two different ways, I can see it two different ways)
A writer is a world trapped in a person— Victor Hugo
Ink is blood. Paper is bandages. The wounded press books to their heart to know they're not alone.
I always thought it was a flashlight. Like, for reading under your covers at night when your parents think you're sleeping. I have that down to an art.
But I guess I can see it now. Kind of. If I squint, kind of rotate my head, and tilt my laptop at a certain angle...nope. Still don't see it.

"Let's eat, Grandma!" as opposed to "Let's eat Grandma!": punctuation saves lives.
"2-4-6-8! I like to delegate!" -Meshugenah "Teague: Stomping on your dreams since 1992." -Sachiko "So I'm looking at FLT and am reminded of a sandwich." -Jabber
Ha ha, It bugged me for a while, then i just assumed that it was a paper bag with eyes and a mouth drawn on with horns, like... you make ordinary stuff come alive and all of that stuff that you do with writing... fantasy and whatnot. Ha ha, I can kinda see the books though!
