Book in a sentence

Read the title. Pick a book (it can be your own) and boil the plot down to one sentence. Do not give a play-by-play of events. You can only say the bare minimum. And absolutely no flaming somebody if they take a book you don't like.

I'll start:

Swan Kingdom: Girl must save world from an evil witch that wants to suck the life out of the kingdom.

Poison Love: Vampire girl must choose between a human and another vampire,

i guess i go again.


the Elemental Gem: a group of people go on a quest to find a jewel and to stop the evil mage.

True Prophesy (mine, not posted anywhere): A girl with a prophesied mark must save family from witches.

Guy rebels against futuristic opressive society;mainly a warning about socialism.

Harry Potter series: An angsty teen with magical wizard powers must vanquish a sadistic snake/wizard/thing.

Count to Ten (By Karen Rose); boy is traumatized - grows up to traumatize and kill others as he seeks to punish those who mistreated him in the past.

Keep it Cool (mine): A college musician tries to push his boundaries musically while questioning the meaning of his existance.

Twilight: A boy told me I smelled delicious and since I've known him for two whole weeks I want to live with him forever!

New moon: A girl who cries over a boy who leave her, only to come back together again.

Eclipse: It's so hard when the people you love don't get along-- you should pity me!

Good thing I put that "no flaming" note...

Eragon- A boy leaves his farm to get revenge on the creatures that killed his uncle.

Harry Potter: A boy has to save the world from an evil wizard.
