Why do you write? Is it to relieve a creative itch or what?

For me, it's to relieve a creative itch and lately the creative itch isn't biting.
"I love you," she whispered in his ear, before taking his mouth with her own.

I write because I can't help it and its one of the only things I can do well. Plus it annoys some of my friends. Mean, right.

I write because I don't have a creative bone in my body, but when I realized that I could write, I was ecstatic with joy. And I get to call myself a writer. Sounds professional. xD

And I really love the look on peoples' faces (especially my adult friends) when they read something of mine and asks me who wrote it. And I get to answer confidently, "Me." :)

And plus, if I didn't write, my anger/emotions would have to go somewhere... I don't want to know what would happen if I didn't write.

I'm just glad I have the most supportive friends I could ask for. One of them is even begging me to go to Florida State, which is where she went, because they have a Creative Writing course there. :D I love having my own personal fan club. ;)

I mostly write just to say that I wrote something. It's also a healthy way to vent anger and frustration and depression. Also, lets me stay up late.
There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

Why not? Seems as good a pastime as any.
When you look at your life, in a strange new room, maybe drowning soon, is this the start of it all?

Uhhm, started writing because I had nothing better to do. Seriously. Then I got a good grade in my creative writing coursework by teacher, so started taking it uber-serious, with mad ideas about getting published one day. A bit ostentatious of me really, considering I've never finished a novel.
Mostly though because it's about the only thing I'm good at :)

Because I always end up coming back to it. And, I love seeing the story unfold. Now if only I could end some of these novels... :D

Because if I didn't, I'd surely die. Not in the physical sense, more metaphorically.
