Audrey laughed and nodded, a small smile plopping itself on her lips as she grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the inn, towards the town. She wrapped one arm around his lower back and leaned into him while he rested his arm over her shoulders. "I love you," she giggled, smiling up at him.

"Hi dad." Tyrel managed to grind out.

Audrey glared at the old man before her. He'd changed a lot. He was much larger than she remembered, and his hairless face had grown a thick, black beard that was streaked with gray. "Hey Grayson. Good to see you," she teased, her eyes flickering with danger.

"Yeah, sure. Not good to see you, Red." Grayson spat angrily. Audrey laughed, almost evily and smirked darkly.

"It's Grayson now..." she smiled.

"Wh-what?!" Grayson's face turned an unearthly, angry purple.

"What do you mean it's to late?" HIs father growled.

"We're married, we have a house, and we have kids." Tyrel smiled at the last part. He hadn't said they were their biological kids, but his dad would take it that way.

"YOU WHAT!" His dad boomed. Tyrel smiled at his father.

"It's. To. Late. I love her, and that's that."

Audrey laughed lightly at Grayson's expression. "So, Dad when does dinner start?" Grayson growled in rage, his face still unnaturally purple and glared at his son.

"When did all this happen?" He glared.

"It's been going on for a while Dad. We got married a couple of days ago," Grayson began to shake in anger at Tyrel's words.

"You were right Ty," Audrey whispered, "he has put on a few pounds since we left!"

Fear suddenly shot through Audrey, her grip tightening on Tyrel's masculine arm while her brows furrowed together in worry. "He can't really do that, can he Ty?" Her voice sounded meek and frightened. Not of Grayson, but of the possibility of being seperated from Tyrel. She felt tears stinging her eyes, threatening to fall.

"No, Audrey, he can't. I made sure everything was in line so that no one could annul it. I also had us adopt the kids. I was going to tell you later. But there is also no way he can take any of those kids away from us. They are all legally ours."

Audrey wiped her eyes quickly, hoping he didn't notice, and smiled widely, hugging him. "That's a relief," she smiled, standing up on her toes so she could kiss him right below the right corner of his mouth. She felt really short standing next to him. "Why'd you have to be so tall?" She whined playfully, hitting him in the chest lightly as they started walking again.

"That way you look just right next to me." He smiled at her kissing hte top of her head and pulling her close. "WE fit together like two peices of a puzzle."

"Not all the peices go together." She repleid.

"We do. And the kids are the ones that go around us." He smiled down at her.

Audrey laughed lightly, covering her mouth with one hand to stifle her laughter, and smiled up at Tyrel. "Did you see the look on Gr- your dad's face when you told him we had kids? He was like, in shock!" She smiled wider, remembering his face. "It would've been even funnier eighteen months ago though, when you could actually see his face without all that beard."

Audrey thought for a moment, a devious smile spreading slowly across her face as she looked up at Tyrel through her thick lashes. Without saying a word she pulled him back towards the inn, smiling devilishly the entire way. She had an idea, but she couldn't help but feel nervous about it.
