I struggled to keep Armand on the ground, even if it was to risk my life. I watched as Vincent tried to get off the ground and as Armand tried to reach his weapon, a sword that had fallen out iof reach as we struggled.
Katie and Lucinda were checking his than checking for the percentage of damage inflicted. Suddenly i felt Armand pull me with him rolling on the ground towards the sword, he reached it and then stabbed me on my chest and partially breaking my ribcage by kicking me.
Unluckily for me the sword was made of Anti-vampire (Silver in this story right?) metal, therefore my stab wouldn't heal like my ribcage did. Unfastening himself form my grip Armand ran towards the fallen Vincent.
"Look out!" I screamed as i tred to bear the pain that i felt as the wound increased in size.
It was then that i realized that the sword was also cursed.
"The sword, Lookout for the sword!" I shouted again as i tried to get off the ground to save Vincent and more importantly to save Katie.
They had a great chance of winning if Armand hadn't obtained an anti vampire cursed sword. And if Lucinda would fight against her father and if Vincent was not alright and if Katie would think about herself first, before Vincent.
I had to save Katie, I stood up and walked or tried to run towards them, i only hoped that they could and would hold on until i arrived and that Vincent would heal soon.

Vincent smiled at the familiar voice. He opened his eyes to see Lucinda kneeling over him, and Katie holding his arm.
"I'm awake."
He looked to his right, where he could see Zire pinning Armand to the ground. He also noticed Armand reaching for his sword.
"I'll be fine," Vincent groaned, "I'm no human, my arm will heal in no time."
He attempted to get up, but Lucinda and Katie stopped him.
"The damage looks pretty bad," Katie said, "if any more damage is done..."
"And Zire seems to be handling Dad okay." Lucinda smiled.
As if on cue, a scream came from the struggle between Zire.
"Look out!"
Armand had broken free, and was running towards them with a sword in his hand, the tip drenched in blood.
"The sword," Zire yelled, a red hole in his shirt, "look out for the sword!"
Vincent cursed, realising from Zire's wound that the sword had been designed specifically for slaying Vampires.
"Okay," Vincent said, "now you have to let me up."
Vincent, Katie and Lucinda stood up, facing Armand. Behind him, Zire was attempting to run after Armand. The struggle had clearly taken its toll on Zire, as he was moving at a walking pace.
When Armand was within a few feet of them, Vincent stepped to the right, dodging his opponent's stab. He punched Armand in the face with his good arm, allowing Katie to proceed in kicking him.
"Sorry about this," he muttered to Lucinda.
"That's okay," she half-laughed, half-cried, "just...try not to kill him, please?"
"I'll try not to. I can't make any guarantees, though."
Vincent saw Katie was beginning to struggle, barely dodging a slash from the anti-Vampire blade. He looked at Zire, who was now just a few metres away. He grinned, and joined the fight alongside Katie, ignoring the pain in his arm.

We fought for a while but even with our combined strength we could not beat him as i was weak and so was Vincent as the healing process in his arm slowed down when he started to fight. Other than this Lucinda was still not fighting with force and Katie was the only one who fought without any injuries and with her full force.
But that was soon to change. It was hard for both me and Vincent to keep our balance, we swayed to our injured side as we fought. Our wounds did not heal as we were fighting. It was then when suddenly i saw Armand hurling Vincent who had for one second looked away at me. The collision was extremely painful more to me than to Vincent. We were thrown to the ground and Vincent lay in top of me trying to get up.
Luckily for us, the moment we stopped fighting Vincent's arm healed fully and the pain of my wound subsided allowing me to fight better than before.
We stood up to rejoin the fight but stopped halfway. Armand had one way or another, managed to capture Katie, at first i was surprised, i looked around to see if this was an illusion. Then i realized it was the truth, i also realized that Katie might have been distracted when we were hurled away, causing her to get captured,for Kate was strong and could not be captured so soon. without the means of trickery.
Armand held Katie, his sword at her neck, if by any way he cut her neck with that sword, she would die... forever.
"Do not move or she dies!" Commanded Armand, Vincent advanced not heeding the warning but i stopped him immediately.
Vincent looked at me angrily and hissed, but i held his arm. I felt n internal force trying to let my hand let go of Vincent, as i was bound to him, but i fought it.
Finally Vincent stopped struggling when he realized that i would not in any way let him go.
"What do you want Armand, Are you so weak as to use trickery to deceive and overcome us?" I hissed angrily.

"I want my daughter back." Armand said simply, glaring at Lucinda.
Vincent spat on the floor near Armand's feet.
"This is pathetic," he growled, "if she wishes to go back to you, she will do so. You can't force her to go with you."
"I am a slayer of your kind, Vincent," Armand said, his blade almost touching Katie's neck, "if I kill this minion of yours, it will just be another day's work. Only Lucinda, sweet Lucinda, could persuade me to be merciful."
Lucinda stepped forward.
"Father, please..."
"I'll let her go if you come with me." Armand repeated himself stubbornly.
Lucinda turned, looking at Vincent.
"Don't go Lucinda, he's-"
"Vincent!" Zire interrupted, "if she doesn't go Katie will die!"
"The man's crazy!" Vincent yelled back, "Who knows what he'll do to Lucinda!"
Armand laughed.
"I will cause her no harm," he sighed, "she's done something stupid. But it's not too late to turn back."
He winked at Lucinda.
"What do you say, dear? Let us stop this nonsense and go back to normal. And in return, I won't kill this...friend of yours."

As Lucinda pushed the dagger further into Armands chest, Katie took the moment to escape from his loosening grip. She ran to Zire, who collasped onto the floor.
"Zire! Zire, are you okay?" Katie cried as she reached him. She held his face, turning it towards her own. His skin had become ghostly white, along with his lips.
Zire smiled weakly. "I...I thought the poison wouldn't go through my system...that it would've healed...I guess I was wrong..." His eyes drooped a little.
"No-Zire! You can't die on me! Zire, don't die!" Katie wailed. She looked to where Armand stabbed him. Without hesitation, she dug her fangs into his wound, desperately sucking the poison out of his system.
Sorry, I don't have any leeches on my speed dial.

**Time for some theory work.**
I watched, unable to do anything to stop her. It wouldn't kill her and what she did would make me live too, but it would hurt her... a lot. The poison from the sword as it entered deposited it's venom in my blood stream. Therefore by sucking the poison that was still contaminating my wound, I would live and Katie would not in fact die as Vampires had in their digestive system and mouth a special sticky serum like spit that would remove or neutralism a small part of the molecular structure of any poison or food, in other words we couldn't die from poison or any other thing entering our mouth and going into our digestive system.'
But it would hurt a lot, judging from the time it took to spread, the venom was strong and was designed specially to kill vampires, therefore I knew that Katie would have to be in bed for a while, much less than the time i would have to be in bed of course.
I felt my blood entering Katie's mouth. A little more of it and she would be rendered unconscious because of the poisons side effects. A few seconds later, as i had said she fainted on top of me, in doing so she also covered the wound, stopping the bleeding to a certain extent. I smiled at the thought, she was helping me even when she was unconscious.
With the last ounce of strength kissed her forehead and then hugging her, i blacked out knowing that for today, our work was done.

*Nope she wouldn't die as he wasn't leader of the vampires. If somebody killed Lucinda the unforgiven would die, if somebody killed vincent apocalyptica would die.*

I've matured a lot and I realised it was time to come back.. for good!
"Thank you, Lucinda," Vincent whispered, "you...well, I don't know what to say."
As Zire fell unconscious, Vincent walked slowly towards them.
"I guess we should take these two back to the castle." He sighed, lifting the two unconscious vampires up and turning to Lucinda. "Are you okay carrying one? I'm happy to carry both, but I would appreciate some help."

I woke up and looked around, i was lying on a large bed in one of the rooms only Vincent was allowed to go into. Beside me lay Katie, still sleeping.
I looked around, no one was present, then i looked at Katie, she had save my life, risking her own.
I loved her. And she proved that she loved me too. I lent and kissed her on her forehead. Then i got out of the bed and walked to the window. I could feel the suns heat although the dense curtains kept the sun rays completely out of the, therefore dark room.
I turned around when i heard the door open.
