It is the time of the crusades. This time the flow of them is more frequent. And this time the outcome is in your hands.
Are you one of the heretics? One of the Mongols, Muslims?
Or are you one of the knights of the cross, men of the pope, enemies of the pope. This is the time when you can choose.

You can choose your character from Pope to beggar, from king to slave.
The History is in your hands.

The first of the hordes of crusade flows have arrived to the holy lands, to fight against the heretic king, and to strike down the Muslims. The Jews might also be in the way.
The Muslims are trying to keep their defences, and try and make peace with the pope, but this doesn't seem to work. The crusaders want either total annihilation or exile. There is also one more option, but not one that is taken lightly... Slavery.
But they have Allah on their side.

The Jews try to hide, in the synagogues. But will that suffice? Shall Hashem bless them.

The pagans fight like barbarians they are but many of their kings have fallen, to the Christians, Muslims and other pagan kings.

Life is not rosy on the crusaders side either. The Muslims are making up a good fight, and the pagans are all the time trying to kill the crusaders.

But they have the pope and God on their side.
