Mitosis Rap

My science teacher made us pair up in class one day. She told us we had to think up ways to help other students learn about Mitosis. So, my friend Anna and I wrote this rap.
I decided to post it to get some laughs. So comment if you learned anything. Comment if you didn't learn anything. Comment if you think its dumb. Comment if you like it. Comment if you laugh, and comment if you didn't laugh. Just comment! I like to know what everyone else thinks of this.

Mitosis might be crazy,
in so many phases.
So we're making this easy,
trying not to be cheezy.

Start from the beginning,
when it copies itself.
It does that for,
it's very good health.

The nucleus breaks apart,
like your achy breaky heart.
Fibers form between,
in a line of symmetry.

The chromosomes line up,
like soldiers in the army.
Right down the middle,
even if its little.

Then it breaks apart,
right "CRACK" in the middle.
They go their own ways,
in this very special phase.

The nuclear membrane,
gets a little bit twisty.
Mitosis is done,
when they unwind completely.

The cytoplasm splits,
they're two different cells.
We taught you all we know,
and now you won't fail.

this is excellent! my history teacher had us do something like this as well, but not about mitosis of course.

Yeah. Now we are on to diffusion *groans*. Who knows what she will do with us for that!

Oh boy, I can just see what my science teacher would do with the idea of rapping. He actually had us roleplaying the different parts af a cell. I can't imagine classes if he gets ahold of this little idea... anyways, nice rap!

Probably were NOT attempting to make this serious, which is really too bad. Why do anything at all if you're not going to throw your all into it?

You reuse middle, which is obnoxious, and there are so many more things you could do such as...

The nucleus ERUPTS, bubles up
cuts, a line through
two perfect symmetrical ruts
chromosomes UP against that brick wall
gun drawn, get ready for the long fall
headrush hits floor spills open
membronic doors WIDE
cell structure multiplies
the divide is now where
permanency resides.

Just... so much potential. But, as I said, I doubt you actually care circumstances considered and all.

Oh my goodness! I have to show this to my science teacher Mr.Tuggle! May I use this? This was hilarious and we just got out of learning about Mitosis but this would be for laughs. OMG!

ha Girl! That's funny! I love it. You know Ms.Reed almost put me in that class. She said Nathaniel and I could keep up. ha I know right?! But I really like that. It was a bit cheezy lol but in such a way that makes you think of mitosis. That was hilarious. "It breaks apart like you achy breaky heart." By the way, it should have been "Achy Breaky Heart" being a song and everything. But other than that, IT WAS AMAZING!!! LOL Keep it up girli girl. Don't forget to read my poem on Cory.
