You know you're a writer when...

You know you're a writer when... you try to keep a journal but you find yourself writing stuff that is fictional.

"I woke up today to brilliant light streaming through my windows and to hear birds singing in the nearby tree..." Wait a second... Wasn't it cloudy? Whoops.

you know you are a writer when you randomly think up an awesome scene, but cant think up an actual story that you could put that scene in...

You know that you are a writer when...
-you never want to stop writing
-there is so many ideas in your head that you feel you will burst if you don't put it on paper
-you use your keyboard and pen... a lot(they are your best friends, LOL!)
-writing is an emotional outlet for you when you are mad or sad

You know you are a writer when you don't have a lucky penny, or a lucky bracelet, you have a lucky pen...

- when your free time is spent writing and not watching netflix
- when someone wants to talk to you and you look at them but your fingers are still typing
- when the only reason you pause in your scene is to get food

When something ordinary happens, and you automatically spin it into a creative story.

You know you're a writer when you talk to your characters.

You know you're a writer when you go to sleep as a great idea comes to your mind, and you can't help but get up at 3 in the morning and hastily write down said idea, in fear that it'll vanish the next day.

You know you're a writer when: someone mentions someone's name in regular conversation and you just gasp in amazement and are forced to run to your notepad and write it down because it's so absolutely perfect for your character!

When you're not afraid of numbers anymore, because you've read so many novels and such that getting to 65 isn't a huge accomplishment anymore. D: Also, when numbers used to scare you... that's a huge writers trait, I'm sure.......

When you pretty much have the hang of the art of putting your hair up with a pencil (because who hasn't wondered how they do that?)

You know you're a writer when; you start to predict the outcome of random events and are actually right.

... when your readers thank you for your stories.

When:
1. You get really annoyed at bad grammar when you read stories.
2. You are CONSTANTLY quoting from books.
3. You are always making up or thinking about philosophical theories in your mind.

@Mysticalxx: The third one is very true.

You know you're a writer when...

1) instead of telling your experience, you write it.
2) instead of drawing your imagination, you write it.
3) instead of taking harsh comments, you still write and write.
