can anyone help me with this era? any information about it is greatly appreciated.

See, the thing is, "Any information" is so vague when given such a large time period.

I could talk about the civil war in America, or Oscar Wilde in England, and those are two completely different things.

So perhaps you could be just a little more specific?

what types of methods were used for the death penalty?
small towns
urban legends in that era

fashion

As a friend has told me, 'Things like vaudeville or musical hall getting less popular in the early 1900s, I'm thinking 1932 end to that, the invention of moving pictures
threw them out a lot.'

hmmm i never thought about the witch trials *smacks forehead*
I'm thinking the U.S or the U.K maybe Canada (that's were I'm from =]) I'm really not sure about the location.

Except the witch trials [of Salem, not counting those before it] were in the 1600s.
