Jessie frowned, she didn't like her parents fighting. But she knew it was inevitable with the situation. Sometimes she thought her dad cared more about her than her mom. That thought disturbed her.

"Let's go to your house." she suggested.

"Yeah, my parents love you."

She grinned, going to see them was great, it was almost as if they were her parents, only not hers and better.

Jessie smiled and hugged back, "how are you?" she asked her warmly.

"I'm fine," Jess said, "just a little worried about my parents."

"Are they fighting again?"

She nodded.

"So I brought her here for a nice distraction."

"Good idea."

"Anything you make is wonderful, mom." Logan smiled ksising her cheek and stealing roll.

"I agree with him." Jessie grinned. "I love your spegetti too."

Jessie pinched the roll out of Logan's hands. He faked a scowl at her but she smiled innocently and kissed his lips lightly.

"I love you?" she offered.

"I love you too."

She bit a little off of the roll.

***That's; fine***

Logan smiled and snagged another roll eating it before it could get stolen then helping set the table. They sat down and started dishing food up.

"Anything new going on?" His mom smiled.

"Not really." He shrugged eating some more spegetti.

"Ok." His dad laughed. He smiled at Jessie then went back to talking to Logan's mom. Logan grabbed and squeezed Jessie's hand. He loved her to death.

Jessie ate dinner with them and almost concidered spending the night. But she knew her mother would have a heart attack, that would not be such a problem if she was going to live through it. When she thought about that she suddenly felt like such a horrible person.

"Would you like a ride home?" Logan's mom offered.

"Yes please."

"I love your truck," Jessie said rubbing the door affectionately, "its more comfortable than my own home."

"That is sad sweets," he said taking her hand. "You know what we should do?"

"What?"

"Get our own apartment."

"There is no way we could afford that," she was prepaired to fight against this as much as she could but the idea truly struck her as something quite perfect.

"My parents would pay."

"Mine would drag me back."

"I wouldn't let them."

She fell silent, "The idea is intriguing," she admitted, "There isn't anything I would like mroe than that."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"What about College?"

"We could figure that out."

"You're right..."

"Let me think." She replied.

"Please don't make me wait forever." He replied softly. "I don't know if I can handle that."

"Right, road." He smiled. He drove to her driveway and smiled. "We can go looking in the morning. I'm sure if your parents don't agree we can wisk you away some how." He smiled.

"Your positive this will work." She laughed.
