Hey everyone! My name is Spirrus, I'm 16 and from Nigeria. After wandering the halls of the internet, searching for a writer's society that suited me, I came across this site after deciding that 4chan /b/ might not be the best place to start.

I'll be looking forward to being part of this charming little community and hopefully even contribute to it, if someone could show a n00b like me the dos and donts of this forum then I'd appreciate that too

What I like reading...hmm, never thought of it when posting this topic.


Well, generally I like fantasy alot, books like Lord of the Rings and Northern Lights are a few of my favorites. I'm also into horror, especially novels that relate to the whole zombie outbreak idea, like Monster Island, Nation and Planet and World War Z. I like sci-fi too, but not so much as fantasy. And before you ask, no, I'm not into romance novels, I cringe when reading a book about how the effeminate, purple pirate supposedly sheathes his sword in the woman's scabbard if you catch my drift

Just be yourself, and get to know the people of the community. It's great here. We have a chat too. The mods can open it whenever they feel like it, so just check the home page every once in a while to see if it's open.
