I'm Here... Why isn't everyone impressed?

I'm just kidding. I'm happy to be here. The place looks great, obviously well organized. I actually joined because I was just so damn amused by the ripping of a certain piece I am not sure I am aloud to name (lets just refer to it as the precious).

I'm assuming these will be the standard questions, so I will answer them.

What do you write? - I write Poetry and Realistic Fiction ((currently working on a novel, Perpetual Genesis. I will post once I earn my keep through a few critiques first)).

What are your favorite books? - I know this is shocking, jarring, and all that, but, for a writer, I really don't like to read much ((wow... run-on much?)). That being said my favorites are The Giver, Old Man and the Sea, Slaughterhouse V ((I usually hate sci-fi but...)), and The Communist Manifesto ((if only for the economic impact it has had on our world today)).

Uhm.... well.... for some reason I'm drawing a blank. If anyone else has any other questions then feel free to ask, if not, then I hope I have fun here and I will PM the mods and admins if I have any questions.

Excited for when you post your work. Also, now I'm curious as to what "ripped" story you're referring to. A hint? A little hint? I'm too curious for this.

Don't worry too much about over-stepping freedom of speech rules. We'll let you know if you go too far But you seem to know your stuff so I'm sure you'll fit right in.

I've not met too many writers who weren't huge readers actually but that just makes you a more interesting person and hey, why not? There are plenty of readers out there who aren't writers. Where would be the market if there weren't? Afterall, as much as a writer enjoys the work of others, isn't it true that his (or her) own work is the priority?

Actually... that certain ripping of the story or poem may have been because of SPEW? We're an editing group that can act like a piranha fish school at times, LOL. And that's all I can say about that usergroup. It's very... secretive.

Anyway, I like the books you've mentioned. Weird books that make you think? Yup! I'm on that one. Hopefully, I'll create a sci fi that you like.
