How are my critiques like?
This really depends on your piece. Sometimes, if I feel the need to be nitpicky about your story, I could be quite thorough and quote every other sentences. Other times, when I feel your piece is self-contained enough, I tend to give general suggestions and less detailed reviews. But depending on your request, I could review to your needs.
What do I tend to critique on?
I am not too heavy about grammar. However, my critiques usually focus on plot development, atmosphere and description.
What do I review?
Historical fiction, other fiction, scripts, adventure fiction, and non-fiction.
What do I avoid reviewing?
Essays, novels with long chapters (though there are exceptions, I just need to see if I'm interested), and poetry. Only novels are exceptions, essays and poetry will not be accepted.
Do I review anything else?
I would, but only if you give me a valid reason of why I should.
So how much does it cost?
My reviews are free for the moment.
What are my principles on reviewing? On writing?
For reviews, I would say I try to be direct, and precise. It's better to know your mistakes straight off the bat before it kills your story, I'd say.
As for writing, coherence would be the most important. No matter how wonderful your ideas may be, if it's not handled in a logical manner, it's still going to turn out rubbish.
