Okay...then the media basically tarnished his entire career. Nice going. I don't even know what to think of this, I guess I'm glad he got let off but the question is, did he do it?
What you think doesn't matter, per se. What does matter is the evidence, which is what the American Justice System was founded on: evidence. Inference and innuendo are entirely irrelevant to a court case.

yea, except I don't really trust all the evidence. Like all celebrity trials, the so-called "evidence" and "witnesses" were very weak for the prosecution. He was guilty all along, and like usual, they let the child-molesting freak off. .
I quit...

The media still paid way too much attention to it... we as a culture are obsessed with celebrities.

Well, I think he's guilty ... or at least VERY weird to the extreme of endangering society ... so I'm not all that pleased he got off, but still, as has been said the media has obliterated his reputation soooo ... win win situation really.
And anyway, he's not in Australia, so I don't have to worry about him endangering me as an individual.

I agree, he's easer guilty or just very weird and sick.

He didn't "endanger" anyone. Parents brought their children to him voluntarily.
The point of the case is that there was always reasonable doubt: there was no concrete evidence. When we begin start relying on our personal emotions, we become thought police.

Michael Jackson has no money left anymore actually...he's practically bankrupt.
Why are all you people criticise the justice system so much? Stop being so cynical - to me it seemed a fair trial, the prosecution didn't seem to be able to prove anything and therefore he could not be sentenced.

I'm personally sick of the whole thing, if this was a "normal" person they wouldn't get as much coverage. He shouldn't have really let the little kids sleep with him anyway and now it doesn't matter whether or not he was guilty. He was found innocent and if people complain it's just kind of pointless since nothing was changed. His career might be tarnished but probably only a little, he still has his fans who will remain loyal and in a few years this will have died down.
People wanted something fun to happen, HE came up because he loved child so very much, he had never really been a proper child because of his dad and singing and stuff, that is why he is lovely with children and spoils them to bits.
IF you remember, which you will. There were large arguments about how his skin turned from black to white. Saying that he bleached it and stuff.
I just which everyone could LEAVE him alone, let him have a life and stop accusing him for things he never did.
