Reborn, Vampires vs Werewolfs

Blair:

He smiled back at her, it was good to see she was okay. "Of course I stayed." He said, then shrugged, "As for how long you have to stay, they said only a day or two. I was pretty worried when you couldn't stand, but they said it was mostly just shell shock or something. You should be better pretty soon, despite all this." He waved his hand in a general indication of their surroundings. "I think they just put a few band-aids on you." He said with a grin, "But the good news is, you're fine, and you just need some rest."

She frowned a little, "And the bad news?"

He sighed and looked away a little, "It wasn't just the vamps who got hit. A baseball stadium got blown up as well. I'm not sure about how many were killed, but either the vampires are really well informed, or someone's trying to set this whole thing up. I don't think it's a coincidence."

Serena:

I shivered as the thought sunk in. "A war?" I asked reluctantly.

He nodded and sighed again.

I could feel my stomach retraching. I felt sick. All those people...women...children...I shut my eyes trying to block out the mental pictures, but they were still there. I whimpered before I could stop myself. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. I looked a Blair. "What are you doing here then? Shouldn't you be helping?" I didn't want him to go, but I knew I really wasn't his responsibility. I'd be fine in a couple of days...then...I closed my eyes again, this time keeping tears bck. The betrayal still hurt. Why was I so stupid?! I took a deep breath. "You should be helping. Not tied down here." I kept my eyes closed. I couldn't watch him leave. It would hurt too much.

Not to mention the blood, screams etc Serena. Fs has really got some talent when it comes to dark writing. And Amber what do you mean by 'final' in the middle of your last post.

Can somebody explain what has happen in the story via pm. Then i will post. sorry about my absense.

Blair:

He looked away, "I'm not sure I want to be involved in a war. I want it to be over as soon as possible, but I don't want to be involved. Vampire hunting...doesn't have the same charm to it as it did before. There's still one I need to kill, but only one. Hopefully we'll just respond to the bomb by making sure nothing like that can happen again, tighter security and the like. But I don't want to leave you behind just so I can go out and join a war."

"Not even to protect those people who don't even know the war is happening? I thought that was why you started hunting in the first place."

He sighed and shook his head, smiling wanly, "You really know how to tear a guy apart, Serena. I'll go, but only if you want me to."

Serena:

My eyes flew open. I winced as I tried to move. Not a good idea.

"I didn't say I wanted you to leave." I said softly. "I just thought you'd want to...I don't want to be the cause of keeping you from what you desire. If..." I took a deep breath. "I like you. I always have. Our history is a lot alike. But...if you would prefer hunting...I don't want to tell you to stay. I only want you to do what you want. I would prefer...No, I hope that that would be staying here...but if your heart lies in another direction, I don't want to stop you."

I waited in agony. I knew he had his mission, but I didn't want him to leave. I didn't want to see him leave. I closed my eyes and felt tears welling on the inside. I was such an idiot.

SHe stood there on one leg waiting for a response. e hadn't given one yet. Her hands were up in position. Ready for anything hopefully.

They stopped. What we they doing now? She turned around. There crouched on a branch was another werewolf. THis one was in it's form. It transformed into the human form. A girl.

"WHo are you? Freind or foe?" He asked, watching the were-girl closly.

I am back hip hip hooray and my first post in a week.

She nearly lost her balance as he twisted her lag around. Well. SHe did fall to the ground. With another hard thud but not as hard.

She opened her eyes to see him in her face. "JOin us," Was all he said. His expretion was still unbreakable.

"What?" Maria asked with disbaleif.

"JOin us."

"I think about it." With that she broke free of his brasp and kicked him into a tree. Something else attacked her. She resled a vampire off her. She needed to take a break form this. It was gettng tireding.

Blair:

He smiled a little, "Good, because I really don't want to go. Sure, I could make up all kinds of bad excuses to stay, but really, it's just because I like you too. Vampires will still be here in a day or two." He saw that her eyes were still closed, saw the tears glistening against her eyelashes, and leaned forward in his chair to press his lips against hers again. "I'm not about to leave you, Serena."

Serena:

I opened my eyes and looked at him. "You...You won't?" I stuttered.

He shook his head, no. I reached up and threw my arms around his neck, kissing him with more passion then I thought possible. His lips were soft and delicate. A perfect mixture. I felt mine mold perfectly to his.

I finally released him, and blushed. "S-sorry. I guess I just...got caught up." I was bright red as I laid back down. I winced slightly as I moved wrong, causing my body to ache. I was so stupid. To think that a vampire could love! I shouldn't have been in there! And because of me, I had caused my brother to get hurt as well. I sighed. I was such an idiot.
