Draive stepped into the shadows. She was trying her best to find a place that excepted her. A pair of clawish hands clasped over her mouth and pulled her back.
"Who are you, and what are ou doing in the shadows?" a boys voice came.
He removed his claws.
"Draive. I'm looking for a place that will except me." she said simple. She turned around. It was a sientific experiment. That didn't faze her a bit."How old are you?" she asked. She knew some experiments looked older than there true age.
We've all been broken in some way. It's just how we express it that makes us dffrent form eachother.

She stopped her playing and looked down at the area the voice had came from. "Yes. Yes, I do," she answered, looking away from his face. "Why should it matter though? Rain is just another way of saying something's in peril," she stated, her blue eyes distant, as if she was in another demension.
Tanner placed the flute-like thing in her pocket and jumped off the tree, landing in a kneel. She stood slowly and looked at him, cocking her head to the side as she walked in a circle. "You don't look like a normal human," she commented, studying him without noticing the dragon that hid in the shadows for the time being.
**I would write more but I don't know what he looks like...**
I chuckled, my black hair damp from the rain. "I'm not." I nudged Knight forward. "This is Knight." I smiled. "You don't look like a normal human either." I grinned. "Name's Aren. Yours?" I asked, waiting to see her reaction to Knight.
Tanner studied the dragon up and down. "You don't see many of these around any more," she said quietly, shaking her head and coming back to reality. "Tanner," Tanner smiled lightly at him, feeling her entergetic sprite personallity pushing its way up. She shuddered, shaking the feeling away and smiled again.
I smiled. "Do you like dragons?" I asked, taking her hand as she offered it and kissing it. "It's nice to meet you. if your not a human, what are you?"
Tanner felt herself blush and nod. "Pleasure's all mine," she smiled lightly, remembering what he'd asked, "Yes, I do like dragons. I've admired the stories about them since I was young. I'm a wolf sprite...Since you have a dragon whom you obviously have a mind connections with you must be a dragon rider. Am I correct?" She asked, taken aback by his eyes as she looked in them for the first time.
Tanner shook her head, holding up one hand. "I'd rather not. I stick to the forest mostly." She smiled sadly.
"Tanneraih!" A loud yell broke through the forest. Tanner growled lowly and turned around slowly, her eyes now slits.
"What do you want Heather?!" Tanner spat, her wolf form showing its personallity. A small blue sprite with black hair and blue eyes appeared from behind a tree, fluttering quickly towards Tanner.
"Master wants you to go get a few things from the market..." Heather spoke in a small voice. She was only nine in all forms. Tanner sighed and nodded slowly.
"Where is the money?" Tanner asked lowly. The blue sprite cocked her head quizzacly, making Tanner give out a low growl. "He expects me to pay again?"
"If you want to eat," Heather laughed, disappearing again. Tanner sighed and turned around, facing Aren again.
"Looks like I'm headed to the market," she laughed and shook her head, starting in the way of the market.
Tanner shook her head again. "If...Master," she said the name with distaste, "catches me on something other than my own wings I'll get twenty lashes." She sighed and continued to walk. "Sorry," she smiled back at him sadly. If I transform you let ME hold onto this personallity, kay? She asked in her mind.
Okay! One of the forms said as the other just growled it.
Tanner sighed and shook her head, knowing that she wouldn't be able to hold on no matter how much the others held back. Never mind. She thought back, continuing to walk.
I growled. "Then i'm coming with you!" I was furious! If I ever found that master, i'd kill him! "How did you become a slave?" I asked softly. did he take advantage of her?! did he use her to his pleasure?! I growled. I could sense fire building in me.
"CALM DOWN!" Knight screamed. "You don't want to hurt her accidently.
"A contract. One that takes over the mind and body." Tanner smiled lightly. "I usually do the bidding and a few other things since I'm one of the older sprites. My Master, I don't know his real name, but his entire home is filled with sprites like me. Sprites are only female and he can control us in any way he pleases. I was tricked. Some were seduced and others were forced." Tanner looked up at him, he looked angry. She looked back at the ground, kicking a rock. It shot up in the air, hitting a branch and knocking a birds nest out of it.
Tanner lunged forward, catching two eggs in both of her hands and the nest on her head, an already hatched egg in it. She placed the other two eggs in the nest and climbed back up the tree with one hand, setting the nest back on the branches. "Sorry," she whispered, dropping back to the ground quickly and landing perfectly. She sighed and continued walking, the feeling of her master watching her running up and down her spine.
