Have you seen or received a good review lately?
Has someone spent a significant amount of time considering how you could improve your carefully crafted piece of writing?
Do you know of a reviewer who deserves a special mention?

If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then let us know in this thread. That way we'll know where to go to get the best critiques, and reviewers will get the praise they deserve for making the effort on your work. Everybody wins. So go ahead, get acknowledging!
Matt.

It was locked when she put my review up. I think it's just so new writers don't post pathetic reviews that don't deserve the title. She probably unlocks it to post it, and then relocks it to keep the bad reviews out.

If I'm wrong, sorry!

In any case, Matt makes sense putting this here.

We can have two. It won't hurt anyone. Besides, people like showing off!

Sapphire gave me absolutely brilliant reviews. Furthermore, she didn't just review the chapter from the link I gave her and stop at that, she followed my chapter all the way through and was always extremely helpful and encouraging. She definitely deserves a special mention as one of the best reviewers.

Had I the heavens embroider'd cloths,
I would spread the cloths under your feet.

So tread softly, for you tread on my life.

JFW is an amazing woman. Not only did she help me with my story earlier this year, she came back for seconds. Very in depth and thorough. :)

Icaruss for one of the best reviews I've ever had. He told me what was wrong with it and he was absolutely right. I think when I was younger I'd be unable to handle it and probably ditch the story, but he's actually inspired me to make it better and write the story the way it should have been written. The sheer honesty and the way it was delivered just was right what I needed.

Anti-pop gave me a wonderfully helpful review on a contest entry of mine, despite the fact that she was in the contest also and competing against me. It had the perfect balance of over-all thoughts and suggestions and individual changes, and I think the piece is a lot better as a whole now.

Nutty is pretty good. She points out the bad stuff, and helps you fix it :)

Maybe what most people wanted wasn't immortality and fame, but the reassurance that their existence had meant something. No matter how long... or how brief. Maybe being eternal meant becoming a story worth telling.
