I just needed a run, a fast run... a two hour long run. I'd be back when I could I just needed to be alone. I was going to stay in human form. I lept out the window and began running through the backwoods. I was coming back but I didn't know how long I was going to stay.

"Are you alright Tobi?" I asked sitting down beside him.
"Yes, just a little tired." He opened his eyes and looked at me. He studied my face and grimaced, "Are you?"
I thought of Kaku in the garden, I wanted him to come back. We were good friends and I needed someone from back before this all happened.
"Yes, I'm fine. I'm just tired too." I said smiling weakly. He looked at me still grimacing. He knew I was lying.

I ran in full human form just running, I had no idea I'd run to town, that's the last place I wanted to be! I had a thought of turning into a were-cat and killing all the humans, nah I'm just kidding. I ran and ran, I was about to run all the way through town when a blurr of a human or whatever ran into me knocking me off of my feet and made me drop and roll. I jumped up and for some reason, I jumped up and put my fists up to protect me and I stood in a combat position.
"I guess cats don't always land on their feet." I muttered.
The guy that had knocked me on my ass smiled, a dark smile like he'd found a last piece of a puzzle. Who the hell was he?
"So, they sent a woman to look after me..." He then hung his head back and laughed.
I glared, "What?" I was so confused.
"So you're the one who's been following me.... Watching me." He said.
"I haven't been watching you. I don't even know you." I planted my hands on my hips. His scent was so familar. He smelled like.... the clans house!
"So you must be either a new member at the clans house or you're watching us."
"How do you know I'm part of the clan? So you have been watching me?" He asked. I almost laughed at his dumbfolded expression.
"No, I haven't been watching you. I'm a cat, not a house cat but I can smell it on you. You've been inside the clans house." I said seriously.
"Come here kitty-kitty-kitty." He said.
This time I didn't hold back I brang my arm al the way back and punched him, I did the perfect right hook. His neck snapped but I didn't kill him.
"Damn! For a chick you hit hard!" He excalimed while rubbing his cheek.
"Damn straight." I said.... "So what's you're name? Before I start slicing off body parts with my claws."
"Jefferson, my name is Jefferson." He extended a hand, I took it and said...
"My name's Jessica, you can call me Jess or Jesse." I said not taking my eyes off him.

My throat felt like it was closing up, it was getting harder to breathe, still Jefferson and I stood there, until I saw Maria walk by, I blinked twice... was it really her?
