Sometime either later today or tomorrow, I will be switching out the current chat room with a brand new chat. If you don't like it at first, give it a chance!
The new chat will solve two big problems:
- No lag
- No random kicking out
It's already installed at:
chat1.php

The login system now works with the new chat. It won't log you in automatically, but you just log in with your regular username and password.
However, I doubt I'm going to go with it now. It's a bit pricey, and people are largely apathetic about it.
So instead, I've upgraded our good old chatroom to the latest version. It's a developmental version, so there may be problems, but I didn't notice any. The new version should also be faster.
You can also check out a new skin for the old chatroom by clicking on "Join New Chat" right below "Join Chat" on My YWS. The new skin is just that; it's not a new chatroom. You can use either or and still communicate with everyone.
