I pulled back just as the church bell rang. Holy shit, it was four already.

"I should get you home," I said, taking her hand lightly and walking her across the street.

Marius seemed so familar to me...I wished i could figure out why. Until then, I would just keep takling to him.

I was painting daffodils I liked to paint daffodils, thats what I was doing for my watercolor project. And I live somewhere in someplace. I smiled at that.


Alice

"Yeah, my dad'll be going home soon."

Bella --

I prefer roses.

As I typed this, I had begun to pull out my sketch book and colored pencils. I wanted to sketch a picture of Random.

Speaking of which, I'm about to start sketching again.

Silently I hoped he'd ask me what I was sketching. It played out in my head perfectly, and I watned to tell someone.

Chuckling, I pikced up the pace.

"Why so fast?" Alice asked.

"No offense, but your dad frightens me slightly. And the last thing Iwant is for him to be mad at me."

Alice

I paused and put a hand on his shoulder, "he frightens everyone. Nobody dares to come inside when he's on his break."


Random

I like roses too, I wish I could afford to give them to this girl at school but they're too expensive.

I know I'm just brillant like that aren't I?

"Then I shall just have to drop you off at the door," I said decidedly.


Bella

We stood on my porch for a minute, like we refused to say goodbye. Finally I gave him a quick kiss and dissappeared through the door, I waited a second before I stuck my head up and watched him walk away, counting his steps.

I jumped on my bike, shot a quick grin at alice, and began my ride home.

When I got upstairs dad was asleep. Which I supposed was good. He'd see right through my gazeless stare. I'd have to get a hold of myself before he woke up. I started on my math homework.

I'm trying, she's got this thing for all flowers, I'm drawing her a whole bunch of them and shoving them in her backpack, mostly daffodils and summer flowers like that.

I read his message two or three times.

Wait a minute...daffodils...summer flowers.

Whoever was sticking things in my locker had to be Marius. So Marius had to be going to my school.

That connection did me almost no good at all whatsoever.

I was sitting at home when I had the sudden realization that I had no way to contact Alice.

I didn't know her phone number, nor her email.

The most I knew was her address, and it was too late to go back to her house.

And how stupid would I look walking up to the door, knocking, and asking for her phone nubmer?!

I rode my bike to Alice's house, leaving it out front and walking her to school.

Bella -

At about 7:15 in the morning, my phone rang. I was on the way to school.

"Hullo?" I said sleepily, pulling into a parking lot so I didn't have to worry aobut my hand-eye coordination.

"Bella?"

"Random? How the hell did you get this number?"

"Your mom. Hey, could you give me a ride to school?"

I would have to slap mum later.

"Why?"

"The bus decided to ignore me?" he sounded like he was even questioning this excuse.

*the time lapse has determinedly been for 2 weeks*

I was right though, the bus decided to ignore me, and I hadn't personally got the number from her mom, my mom did. She needed it for some weirdo reason.

"Please?"

"Fine, two minutes out of the way anyways."

I saw Ronan on my way to school and glompped him. "Hiya!"

"Hey Alice," he said kissing my cheek lightly. "How are you today?"
