I'm just glad the site didn't break! While the visits count was about average (~1,200), the pageview count was by far a new record (~24,000... next highest is ~21,000).

And trust, me the quality of the posts has definitely not gone done. As niteowl said, if anything, they've gone up.

...Maybe we should have a YWS History page or forumn or something... That would be really interesting. We could put this in it.

The thing about it is--and Nate as well as the rest of the Mod Squad have been watching this--the quality of posts haven't decreased at all. If anything, they're amazing.

Anyhow... it's nice to know this site is expanding!

Nate must not have picked up on the joke.

What I think he meant is that you haven't been here long enough to remember when post quality wasn't that great. There was a time when pieces would go unreviewed in the Literary Forums while all everyone did was post in the Lounge, Randomness, and Word Play (then in the Writing Activities forum). Now, nearly all pieces get a few reviews, and traffic in the Lounge and Randomness has gone down. There's a balance now, so overall post quality is higher.

Oh ye, I know, still, no need to make a fuss I agree with you.

I've heard that it has improved greatly, in facvt, I believe it has in just my time here actually.
