Caralina----

"It's my brothers. I hate tight jackets so I wear my dad's and brothers." She smiled, had he been worried? Her heart jumped, he was.

"How many siblings do you have?" He asked as they walked out of the school.

"Just my brother." She smiled, "You?"

Ryan:

I smiled. "I have three sisters, and one brother." I grinned. "I'm used to being around a lot of siblings, especially girls. We were sort of outnumbered." I grinned. "Of course, girls can do a lot to a man's character." I smiled, remebering how I had learned how to treat women with respect from my sisters. "Plus, it kind of makes us protective. I'm worried about my younger sister...but I know she'll be okay." I smiled.

Caralina----

Caralina smiled, "If she has two older brothers I'm sure she will be fine." She spotted the coffee shop ahead of them and smiled. "So, where were you born?"

Ryan:

I smiled. "I was born in New York. I traveled around a lot as a kid and lived in different countries. But my parents finally decided to live here..." I sighed. "And I'm the oldest. My brother is younger. He's 8." I smiled. I loved my siblings. "What about you?" I asked, holding the door open for her as she walked in.

Caralina---

"I was born in Texas." She smiled, "My dad is in the army, was in the army, so we moved alot. THis is probably the last time we will move....hopefully." She said as they walked towards the counter. "I like it here. It seems like a good town."

Ryan:

I smiled. "I like it. But, I've only been here a year. My family just liked to travel. My dad was always busy with his work." I sighed. "So...what do you want?" I asked with a smile.

Caralina---

Caralina looked up at the board and crossed her arms thinking. "Hmmm, how about a French Vanilla Capachino." She smiled back. "Not to strong, but still good."


***Grrrrr***

Ryan:

I smiled. "We'll take one of those and a regular cup of coffee as well." I told the lady. She gave me the total with a bat of her eyes, which I ignored, and gave her cash. she would've flirted more had I not left with Carolina. I grabbed our drinks and steered her toward two emty seats.

"How much trouble do you think we'll be in when we go back?" I asked, grinning.

Caralina---

Caralina smiled and sipped her drink letting the warmth flood through her body.

"Well, depends on who catches us. If it is a nice teacher, we'll be able to talk our way out of it. If it is the principle or a mean teacher we'd be best not to go back." She grinned over her cup looking at him. "Only problem is we don't know which we will run into."

Ryan:

I laughed. "We're not in a lot of trouble if the principle catches us. I'll just say we were let out of class so that I could help you with homework." I grinned and wink. "But I'm pretty sure you don't need my help." I smiled. "You seem to be extremely smart."

Caralina---

Caralina felt her cheeks start to burn and she looked at her drink lifting it to her lips and sipping more of the hot liquid.

"I make it." She smiled, "So what class are you NOT good at?"

She wanted to change the subject, she had never really been complamented and she wasn't used to it.

Ryan:

I felt horrible. "I didn't mean to brag...I just like to help people. I hate school, but I'm pretty good at most subjects. I'm terrible at art." I grinned. "In fact, the onlu drawnings I can do are of stick figures!" She was so beautiful! "But you are smart." I said seriously. "I don't give compliments unless they are true." I was practically whispering, but I wanted her to know that I was completely serious.

Caralina---

Caralina laughed, "You weren't bragging, don't worry about it." She grinned, "I would say I would help you with art but I can't even do good stick figures. Course I can draw a horse head, but that is it." She swished her drink in the cup and looked him in the eyes. "Thanks."

Ryan:

I sighed with relief. "Your welcome. Do you like to write?" I asked.

Caralina--

"You bet." She grinned, "I write stories. I have a ton." She felt her cheeks start to burn she hadn't really ever told anyone afraid of being thought completely weird. But he wouldn't have asked if he didnt. "Do you?"
