I smiled. "Of course. I love writing. Of course, I'm horrible at poetry, but I can write stories very well. Do I ever get to see anything you've written?" I asked enthusiastically.
I smiled. "Of course I want to! I've never met a writer I didn't like." I grinned. "We should get back to school. I really donzt want to miss English. Sorry to cut this so short." I bit my lip. I really didn't want to get into trouble either. Detentions weren't my favorite thing. of course, I had never had one, but I didn't want to start now.
"Lets go. I have english, then math after that." She smiled, "I found a door no one really uses that we can slip into." She grinned tossing her empty cup away. She didn't want to stop talking to him though.
Liz continued to skate, totally oblivios to the world around her. Suddenly, flashing lights caught her attention behind her. She groaned and turned around skating towards the cop car. She did a kickflip and landed on the hood, smiling into the window at the cop.
"Got me again, eh Mr.Thomas?" The cop inside heaved a sigh and motioned for her to get in. Liz rolled her eyes and jumped off the hood, grabbed her skateboard and slid into the back seat. "Can't you let me skip at least one English class?" She groaned.
"Nope, unless I want your father to fire me." Thomas replied.
"Whatever," Liz growled as they headed back towards the school. Thomas handcuffed her and dragged her into her English class, handing her her bag and walking back out. The English teacher glared at her, ready to yell.
I saw the student being brought in. I knew her as the principle's daughter. He had tried to hook us up once, but we really didn't have anything in common. The English teacher looked as if she was going to explode. I knew what Liz' father would do if she got another detention. I sighed. This was probably a stupid mistake.
"Excuse me, Ma'am." I addressed the English teacher. "Yesterday you were talking about Shakespeare's use of figurative speech to represent real things. Would you explain that more in depth. I'm not sure if I got all of it in my notes." I smiled innocently.
She beamed back at me. "Of course Ryan. I'm sorry if I went too fast for you yesterday." she started lecturing us on what she had explained yesterday. I already had everything, so it was really boring to listen too. I saw Liz slip into a seat, the punishment for skipping class forgotten.
Liz rolled her eyes again as she reached into her bag to pull out her notebook. She realized something as she did so. He left the cuffs on again! Her mind shouted angrily. She snickered. He obviously thinks I can't get out of them! Ha! She pulled a small key out of her pocket and stuck it into one of the keyholes, twisting it once and making the cuffs fall into her bag. She smiled again and began to doodle little comics of Romeo and Juliet sitcoms. The school newspaper will get a hit out of this. She thought as she drew a picture of the English teacher yelling 'cut!', Thomas hancuffing Shakespeare, and her father watching it all from a booth near the stage. She signed it off with the name of; Anonymous and turned to the next page, doodling another comic.
*bored sorry...this is what I basically do everyday during math at my junior high...without the handcuff part... *
Drake walked home and threw on the stereo to drowned out the sound of his thoughts and he started to write. the words came out easy for him and he painted a beautiful picture with his worlds. after twenty or so minutes he stopped not because he had nothing to say but because he had thought of a cool base line so he started to play the base when he herd a loud sound out side of his house...
Caralina quickly scribbled down the notes not having been there before. She looked at the girl that had come in late and saw her drawing. She quickly looked back at her notes as the teacher stopped. She sighed, this was going to be a long year if they only did Shakespear. She hated him. The teacher continued with the Shakespear plot and she grabbed an empty notepad and opened it quickly writing a note on it.
Was that just to get the girl out of trouble? You look pretty bored. She carefully slid it to Ryan.
I grinned. And wrote back, "Of course. I took detailed notes yesterday. I happen to love Shakespeare, but there is such a thing ass TOO much back ground information." I smiled and passed it back to Carolina.
I HATE Shakespear, never was a huge fan. Funny that a lot of his sonnets and stuff were actually written to his male lover. , That is a random fact I learned a few years ago. I've never read them the same way sense. She slipped it back to him and looked up at the front of the class, they were still doing pretty good with not being caught.
I frowned. "No, they were written for his wife. He loved her. At least, that's what I believe. How can you not love his sonnets?" I smiled and passed it back.
