Brad (The Derkz)-


"Alright, but I'm not sharing with you." He added.

After that he finished munching on the taffy, an dhe bought all his candy. Then they went to the music store.

"Sweet! I can't believe the new album for Linkin Park is out!" Brad shouted.

Cam~

Cam laughed aloud as he grabbed the new Linkin Park CD. She scanned the shelves for a Fall Out Boy disc and a Panic! At the Disco disc. She quickly paid for them, also buying a cd player, and waited on Brad.

Brad-

He snuck an Evanesense cd. A little embarased.

Cam~

Cam laughed aloud as Brad walked to the corner, a Linkin Park CD and an Evenesance CD. "I didn't know you liked her," Cam laughed, snatching the CD away from him as soon as it was paid for.

"Ay! Give it back!" He shouted, smiling himself.

"Gotta catch me," she smiled, skipping out of the store.

Brad-

He chased Cam. "CAME! GIVE IT BACK!" He yelled.

Everyone stared. Probably think 'wow, look at the idiots'. But they didn't care. Eventually Cam slowed down enough for Brad to grab her.

"Hey let go!" Cam whined.

Before she knew it he snatched the cd from her.

Cam~

Cam smiled and began walking away. "Are you hungry or not, Candy Man?" She teased. "You probably spent all your money on all that candy so I'll pay," she laughed aloud.

Brad-

"HEY! wait up Cam!" brad yelled running after her.

They walked into the food court." Hey Cam?" He asked.

"WHat?" She answered.

"Can I borrow some money."

*I am going to drop out because i feel really lost and dont think there is alot i van add at this point.*

Cam~

Cam began to smirk, trying to hold back another laugh. "Yeah, how much?" She smiled.

"Fifty dollars," he answered.

Cam hissed through her teeth and pulled her wallet out, yanking a 50 out of it. "Don't spend it to fast...that was one fifth of the money we got a share of from our last gig," she laughed as she walked towards a chinese food stand.

Darby-

After a few minutes of peace people started playing again and I decided it was time to get to work on some pitches for the Bank wedding. I was also working on something else, but it was a secret to all the band members, mostly because I'm not sure if it will pan out.
Thirty minutes later and I had done no work on account of all the noise. I decided to go grab a drink, "Guys I'll be back later." I yelled as I pulled on my coat and headed out the door, passing Cam and Brad on the way. (they are Derks right???)
"See ya." I said before hopping in my car and driving to a bar owned by a friend of mine. I walked in and sat down.
"Darby!" Steve yelled from behind the counter, "Long time no see! How bout the usual?"
"Make it a double." I called back. I vaguely noticed someone sit at the bar next to me but didn't turn to look. Then the person talked to me.
"You mean you don't wear that snazzy dress everywhere?"
I turned to see the guy from the supermarket, James, sitting next to me, "No I do not, although it is rather attractive isn't it?"
He smiled, "So, long day?" He asked as Steve set the glass on the counter in front of me.
"Very long. Do you come in here often?"
"No I just moved here, hence the supermarket gig."
"It can be difficult to find a job in New York, but sometimes you just have to look in the right places. Where did you live before here?"
"L.A. I'm a music producer."
"Really, how interesting." Before I knew it we had been talking for three hours. Then I wes in his car, then at his apartment. Then I was waking up, next to him, not wearing any clothes. Oh crap.

Cam
Derkz~

Cam yawned and rolled out of bed, stumbling down the stairs, and into the kitchen, where everyone sat. "Darby got laid." She laughed tiredly, walking to the fridge and rabbing the milk carton out.

*dang lol*

Darby-

I sat up and put my head in my knees, trying not to freak out in every way possible. I couldn't see my clothes from where I was sitting. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned slowly to look at James.
"Good morning." he smiled.
"I-I have to go." The smile fell from his face.
"Are you okay?"
"Not really." I said trying to make my cold hands stop shaking.
"What's wrong?" He brushed some of my hair out of my face. I flopped back onto the bed not very gracefully and pulled the covers over my head, mumbling to myself. James laughed.
"Stop laughing," I said a bit louder, still with the covers over my face to hide my smile.
"I'm sorry, you just are really adorable." he said also laying back onto the bed. I groanded and pulled the covers down slightly so I could see him.
"I really should go." I said, "Everyone is probably wondering where I am."
"Everyone?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, I'm kinda of the 'caretaker' of a group of kids. Well they're a band. They're like family. And when I told them I was going out yesterday, they assumed I would be back,"
"I see," He said, he got up and dressed, but seeing as I had no idea where my clothes were I was kind of stuck. "You coming?" he asked.
I sat up, "Um, do you know where my clothes are?" A wry smile spread across his face and he left the room.
"You car is still parked outside the bar." He said coming back in with my clothes, "I'll drive you there.
I nodded and dressed then followed him to the door. The bedroom seemed to be the only furnished room in the apartment.
When we got in the car I was reluctant to talk, mostly because there was one question on my mind. He must have noticed because he looked over and asked, "everything okay?"
"Yeah." I was just going to leave it at that but my mouth got the better of me, "What happens now?"
Akward silence, "Well, right now I'm driving you to your car, then you will go home, or to work. Then tonight at six I'm going to pick you up from your house and take you on an actual date."
I was glad he wanted to go on a date, glad he even wanted to see me again after how weird I had acted. He pulled up next to my car a few minutes later and I got out and walked to his side of the car. He rolled his window down.
"Thank you." I said and then he did something I didn't expect, he leaned over and kissed me.
