Band Life

Since the Derks are all basically underaged and living together can I make someone who is kind of like their caretaker? She would like buy food and they could live in her house and everything...idk

Occupation:Wedding/Party planner
History: Since she was a little girl dressing barbie up in her wedding gown she knew she wanted to plan weddings. What she didn't know is she would be housing and caring for a teenage band. But she couldn't just leave them out in the cold. Now she is juggling planning the wedding that just might ensure her the ability to start her own buisness and caring for the undiscovered Derks.
Appearance: Tallish, slim figure, long brown hair, green eyes, good smile.
Personality: camera shy, a good care giver but only just discovered that, neat freak/perectionist, learned what kind of earplugs to buy to really block out the sound, easily made friends with the neighborhood zoning commisioner, easy to talk to, understanding, always seems to be in a rush.

Lilith smiled at the band as Darby walked down the stairs, purple rings under her eyes. "Have fun last night?" Lilith joked.

Dustin
The Yellerz~

"Ohmigawd! Blake! Put some pants on!" Dustin shouted, tipping his chair backwards at the sight of Mr.Blake in whitey tighties.

Appearance: about 5 3 with raven black hair that has red streaks through it she dresses in a tight black shirt and well worn denim jeans. she has an angelic smile but rarely uses it
Band: the Y's
Instrument: lead guitar, back up vocals and writes song but they are never used
History: She was kinda preppy until the beganing of the year when she came out of her shell a little but she is still kinda thought of as a prep. she just joined the band and doesn't know any of the members that well yet.
Other: up for love and wanting to find her place in the world

She grabbed her old Memphis guitar and headed in for practice. she was a little late but it had been a long morning already and she wanted just to tune out of her world and focus on the music...

Brad- The Derkz-

"Hey Derby! DId you ever get my eggs?" Brad shouted.

Darby sighed. Brad always called her that." Yah I put them in the fridge last night."

Brad gave her the thumbs up." Thanks!"

Lilith~

"Eggs?! I asked you for eggs last week and you said no! And then he asks you and you get 'em the next day! What's up with that?" Lilith asked. THe others around her snickered.

"What?!" She shouted despretly. "Aw crap," her stomach flipped. "To...much...beer...last night." She moaned before shooting into the bathroom.

Darby-

I nodded with a half smile on my face. Despite what everyone thought, I really did love my job. Sure, I ran around like a crazy person most of the time, and having four (I think it's four anyways) teenagers who like to play music ALL THE TIME, doesn't exactly help, but it's all good fun. I walked into the kitchen realising it was late. I cursed under my breathe before picking up the phone and dialing the office.
"Thank you for calling Weddings by Wanda this is Charlotte speaking how may I help you?"
"Charlotte this is Darby McCain-"
"Oh hi Ms. McCain!" The bubbly blonde receptionist relied.
"Hi, what kind of mood is Wanda in."
Suddenly I heard Wanda's voice in the background, "Get those damn flowers out of here and, no that is not the right cake! Chocolate is the opposite of vanilla! IDIOTS! Where the hell is McCain?"
"Tell her I will be there in twent minutes." I said hanging up the phone and heading back upstairs.
"Going into work?" Lilith called after me.
"Yep, I'm late one day and the whole place goes to hell!" I called teasingly over my shoulder. I took the quickest shower of my life then dressed and blow-dried my brown locks. I sped all the way to work, making a mental note to stop at the grocery store.

*I guess i was ahead of the curve lol so i will just wait till time catches up*

Darby-

"Where the hell have you been!" Wanda shouted as I walked through the door of the her office. She motioned for me to follow her.
"I was up late last night working on the Haversham wedding." I replied hoping my make up was covering the bags under my eyes, and at a half run to keep up with Wanda's erratic walking.
"You look like hell, but there is no time for that. We have more pressing matters." Wanda was being her usual spaztic bossy self, I was used to it by now.
"Pressing matters like what?"
"The Crew wedding is in two hours and the bridesmaid has run off, the groom from the Mathew wedding has just been arrested, and Dianna Bank, of the Banks Banking and Loan, wants us to do her wedding and I want you to be in charge!" Wanda stopped walking and turned to face me.
"Banks Banking and Loan, that's the biggest Bank in New York city! Why do you want me to be in charge?"
"Because McCain I want to make you partner!"
"Partner?" I was completely shocked. If I made partner I would be one step closer to opening my own buisness and I would not name it Weddings by Darby like Wanda had so selfishly named the buisness after herself.
"Yes, partner," Wanda began walking again, "Now head downstairs and get fitted for a bridesmaid dress and while your there see if you can't calm down the future Mrs. Mathew."

Carlie (Yellerz):

I had some warning before I walked into the main room. I chuckled. Living with a lot of guys could be a handful, but I loved playing, and it was better than being some miss priss at the Ivy League school of my parents choice.

I grabbed some coffee and started drinking. I was still exhuasted. I hoped my voice was up to practicing this early in the morning...

Lilith stumbled out of the bathroom as the others laughed at her. "You know...I thought one of you couldv'e stopped me before...Oh I don't know....I did the keg stand," she glared at the as they laughed.

Dustin
Yellerz~

Dustin watched Blake stumble back upstairs. "Think he's got a hangover?" He asked Carlie, who was laughing lightly and drinking coffee.

Carlie:

"Probably." I said with a smile. "That's why I never touch the stuff. to detremental to your health." I grinned.

Dustin

"I agree," he replied, taking another sip of his morning beer, "but that doesn't stop me."

Lilith
Derkz~

Once everything had calmed down they began rehearsing their new song 'Immortal Nightmare'.

Mr. Blake looked putted on his Pants and saw that they were tight with a belt.
No matter what kind of pants he gets, Mr. Blake mused, It never seems to fit on him and always requires a belt.

Mr. Blake then remembered, he looked through his closet of instruments and then yelled down." Do I need anything?"

Darby-

I ran out of the Crew wedding, which was in a huge, stuffy catholic church. The traffic was whipping down the street at an alarming rate and it took forever to cross the road to my car. The dress I was wearing was hideous but I ddin't have time to change. I drove straight for the grocery store and started picking up things for dinner. I had no idea what I was going to make but I couldn't let them go to another gig hungry. I got to the checkout line in record time, beating most of the evening rush.
"Did you find everything okay?" The cashier asked.
"Yes, fine." I replied looking up from my purse, "Hey, your new!" I said. It was sad that I knew pretty much everyone in the grocery store well enough to notice the new guy, I just shopped here so much now.
"Yes, yes I am." I looked at his name tag, James.
"Hi James, I shop here all the time, so get used to crazy." I laughed at my own insanity and dorkyness. Why was I being so weird? Maybe it was his gorgeous blue eyes, or that flawless smile, maybe the just right muscly arms. STOP IT! I yelled at myself, there was no time for this.
"Do you always wear dresses like that?"
"Ha, no. I was a last minute bridesmaid for a wedding."
"I see, well here is your reciept. Have a nice day." He flashed a brilliant smile and I had to hold onto my cart to keep from falling over.
I quickly loaded the car and headed home, not thinking about James at all. Well, maybe a little.

Lilith glomped Darby as she walked into the door. "Darby! They're teasing me!" She said as if she was a small child.

"Stop teasing her," Darby growled, setting some grocery bags and the table.

"Ooh! Whatcha get me?" Lilith asked excitedly.

"Nothing!!" Caden yelled jokingly, from behind. Lilith stuck her tongue out at him. It's great to have 'family' like this. She thought as she laughed.
