Maybelle (Tiny)----


Maybelle woke up on a strange cot and she jumped up . She looked around and groaned when she noticed it was just Naomi's place. She laid her head back down and closed her eyes. She couldn't get back to sleep though so she walked down to the kitchen looking for Naomi.

Oh, by the saints, my ribs hurt. They're broken, I'm sure, I thought, as the boys continued to kick and punch me, my back and ribs being their favorite spot.
I had long ago given up on trying to keep quiet. The biggest boy aimed a particularly vicious kick at my head, and I moaned, then started to scream when I felt one of the boys start to step on my neck. But of course, I couldn't scream for long.
Just as it was becoming not worth the effort to breathe, they stopped. I heard a low, soft voice. It sounded calm and gentle. It sounded safe, and I wanted to hear more.
But something told me that safe voices were not to be trusted. And I couldn't remember why.
I didn't listen to the rest of what the voice said; I merely concentrated on trying to get up.
"Well, there goes that plan," I thought, when my ribs fiercely protested when I tried to move, sending burning sensation all throughout my body. I collapsed back down. I would rest for a minute, and then try again. Who new when they would come back?
I flinched when a hand touched my shoulder. The safe voice spoke again, this time sounding even safer.
"Are you alright? They are gone now, you are safe. We will not hurt you."
Oh, how I wanted to get away. If this man was going to hit me too, I wasn't going to give him the chance. But I couldn't get up, so I was at his mercy. All I could do was whimper and writhe away from his touch.
"Hey, easy. I'm not going to hurt you," the voice said. I didn't believe him.
I turned and looked over my shoulder. He was tall, and strong. Not a young boy, like the rest of them. This was a man. Men were older. They could be trusted. Right?
I relaxed a bit, just a little.

OK, so I guess I'll stop there. I hope this is okay, because I'm not sure how much we can control each others characters. Can anybody tell me how much we're allowed to do? Thanks so much!
(Maybe soon Fyn and Casius can get in a fight. Whee! )

I carefully left my horse and proceeded to the knight's tower. While the outside showed signs of a sordid negligence, the inside still showed signs of majesty and wonder.

I saw my bed in the corner, and leaving no time to get changed I fell onto my bed and fell into a deep sleep

Naomi~

Naomi heard Maybelle decending the stairs and her brothers waking up. She smiled at Maybelle as she walked into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes. "We've got cooked eggs and fish." She informed her, setting the plates of food on the table. "I'm going into town again later, do you want to come?" She asked Maybelle as her brothers walked downstairs, yawning and stretching.

Maybelle (Tiny)---


"Sure." SHe helped dish foods for the boys thens sat down a ate a little herself.

Naomi~

"Once you get done meet me outside," she said to Maybelle before walking out the door.

'Not eating again?' Keira asked, sauntering up to her.

"No, not hungry." She replied, walking towards the tiger stables.

'You're never hungry. I'm going to laugh when you blow away,' he growled, concerned about her health.


"Oh shut up already! How's your son by the way?" She asked, smiling slyly.

'Hearth is good. Traycie is nursing him right now.' Keira laughed. Naomi nodded and laughed along.

She walked into the stables, leaving Keira to wait outside. Let's see. Which one can Maybelle ride? She thought as she passed Heather, a white tiger steed.

"Come," she told her. Heather bowed her head and followed Naomi out of the stables, already in her riding gear. The two huge tigers followed Naomi back to the house, to wait on Maybelle.

Maybelle (Tiny)----


Maybelle walked outside and looked at Naomi and then the tiger. "We going into town on those?"

Naomi~

"Yeah, why not? I always used to do it when I was younger and my mom was sick." Naomi replied, laughing a little. "The dogs of the town used to cower in fear! I haven't been in town on the tigers in a few years...thought it might be fun," she laughed.

Maybelle (Tiny)---


"It'll be a blast no doubt, but, who knows what will happen." Maybelle laughed. She mounted on the tiger and looked at Naomi, "let's go."

Naomi~

Naomi laughed aloud and jumped onto Keira, quickly taking off, Maybelle not far behind. A few forest animals scattered out of their way and the huge tigers lumbered through the forest, their riders laughing the whole way. As they neared the town townsfolk cried out and dogs whimpered in fear, only the smaller ones barked. Keira looked at a white scruffy dog that continued to bark. He smirked and let out a loud roar. The dog pissed itself and took off behind the corner. Like a human. Naomi thought and laughed aloud, Maybelle laughing behind her. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the wizard from the other day, crouched over a boy, who looked badly hurt. She motioned for Maybelle to follow her and walked up to the wizard with the boy.

"Is he okay?" She asked softly, jumping off the tiger and squatting next to the injured boy. Maybelle was soon at her side, asking the same question.

I can't do anything until Maybe posts, so....yeah.
Poor Fyn. He's in so much pain. Poor darling.

Sorry for the much delayed post. School was hectic, after school even more so, and even now I'm putting homework off. >.<

Raxven-

I felt the boy relax slightly under my touch as he let out a small sigh, wincing in pain as he did so. I turned my head a fraction to glance at Casius.

"Can you heal him for me? I'm still weak from yesterday."

Casius stepped forward and touched the boys body gently before withdrawing his hand quickly and hissing in pain. He shook his head viciously.

"Can't. He's a water-baby."

"Water-baby? Never heard of the term before."

"Of course not. Their secret is well hidden, and I am forbidden to say anything about it. All I can say is that I cannot touch him, let alone heal him."

I sighed and touched the boys forehead. Healing wasn't one of my specialties, but I knew the basics. That should be enough.

"Stay still, I won't hurt you. I'm here to help."

The boy did as I asked and held perfectly still as I murmured the correct words under my breath. It took only a few minutes before I was finished and his injuries, for the most part, healed. For a professional healer, what I had just done would have taken no more than five seconds, but I was inexperienced in the art. Most of my power lay in destruction.

When I looked up, I noticed two woman walking towards us. Or, one was a human, one was a Neko, mistaken at first glance to be human. Casius stepped back into the shadows of the alley, his eyes fixed on the Neko.

I stood slowly, the healing having drained me of most of me remaining power and strength. I met the eyes of the two approaching females.

"Is he alright?" one asked, the same question echoing from the others lips moments later.

I nodded wearily. "He will be fine now."

Naomi~

Naomi smiled at the wizard. "Okay, we were just making sure he was," both of the turned and walked back to their tigers. "Need anything?" She called out once her and Maybelle were mounted. "Food? Bandages? Anything at all?"
