Ever Wonder

Blair-

Blair woke up and Raxven was gone. She sighed and sat up coming face to face with the boy.
"Raxven told me to watch over you." He had taken the command much too literally and it made her laugh.
"Alright, I'll be fine, I promise to behave myself." He didn't move, "You can go and do something else, I promise I'm fine." He still didn't move.
"He said to watch over you." Flyn said. She smiled again.
"Alright."

Raxven-

I followed Casius through the woods, heading towards the command tent. Normally, I would've used my magic to get us there much faster, but there were things that I wanted to talk to the demon about.

"Casius?"

He spared me an innocent sideway glance. "Hmm?"

"What was that all about?"

"What?"

"Don't play dumb. You know what I'm talking about."

He seemed to shrug and looked away again. "I don't trust him," he said simply. "He's a boy you found being beat up in a back alley. Did you ever stop to wonder why he was being bullied? Maybe it was for a good reason."

I stopped walking and stared after him. After a moment he realized I was no longer beside him and stopped to look back.

"I'm not saying there is a good reason, but what if there was? You're leaving the princess in his care in your house. If anything should happen, the blame is going to be laid on you."

I scowled and started walking again. "I know. But I trust him."

Casius sighed and I heard his footsteps again behind me. We moved quietly and didn't speak again for a while.

"Casius?" I finally asked again, breaking the silence.

"What?"

"What if the prince realizes she's gone and goes looking for her?"

"There's a shocking thought," he replied sarcastically.

I glared back at him. "What if he decides to send someone to recruit my help, only to find her there and me gone...?"

"You'd better hope he doesn't, because if he does, you're a dead man."

"Great," I muttered, grabbing Casius's arm and taking us to the command tent to await orders.

Yay! *does happy dance and squeals* We're back in business, peoples! lol.

I watched Ms. Elizabeth as she walked through the house, moving stray trinkets from one place to another, picking up books to look through them, and smiling softly: first to herself, and then at me.

I could have stared at her all day. She was so beautiful. I wanted to stand there, just watching her, forever. I wanted to see her smile like that all the time, and i wanted to be the one to make her smile.

I followed a few feet behind wherever she went, making her giggle softly. I grinned to myself.

Finally, she decided to go into the kitchen.

"Do you know how to cook, Fyn?" she called over her shoulder.

"Umm...no ma'am." I said, kind of embaressed.

She sighed, smiling. "Alright then. I suppose you'll have to eat my disgusting cooking then. Care to help? I'll show you how." she said as she pulled out a few pots and struck a match to light the stove with.

"Oh, and don't call me ma'am, Fyn. It makes me seem so old. Just call me Elizabeth, alright?" she said.

I nodded, and came to stand beside her at the stove. "Yes, Ms. Elizabeth, ma'am."

She giggled and shook her head.

I watched as she began to cook, her hands moving quickly from pot to pan and back again. Every so often she would stop and explain how certain things worked.

Soon, breakfast was done, and we were sitting at the table. I was the first to taste the food. For something that was supposed to be disgusting cooking, it was amazingly delicious.

We ate in silence for a few moments, until I decided to break the ice.

"Um...how did you and Raxven meet, Ms. Elizabeth, ma'am?"

Yeah..I can't post now because I have finals tomorrow and need to study but that is fine....except I have no idea how they met...ha

Raxven-

We arrived at the command tent to await orders. It seemed as thought today's battle had already begun, for there was no one but the General and his assistant still there, getting suited up.

"How goes it today?" I asked nonchalantly, walking up to the pair. The assistant glanced at Casius and I irritably and went back to his work. The General looked turned his head to examine us.

"You're late," he commented. "Enemy forces attacked over two hours ago, just at dawn. We've managed to push them back again as far as the Galmattei River, but they've regrouped and launched a counter attack. I wasn't planning on getting involved in this battle, but since it looked as though you weren't going to show up, I had no choice."

I looked him straight in the eye. "I had a few things to attend to first, but I'm here now. Is there anywhere we're to be stationed, or is it a free-for-all?"

"Wherever it looks like you're needed most and where we'll lose the least amount of soldiers."

I nodded and grabbed Casius's arm again, taking us to the field of battle where a roaring sun glared down at the blood-stained ground below.

It was going to be another long day.

Blair:

I paused, I couldn't tell him how we really met since he wasn't supposed to know I was the Princess, so I made something up, "Um, I was riding in the woods, when I was much younger, and Rax and Casius were hunting. We sort of bumped into eachother."

"Oh." He said going back to eating.

*Sorry I have nothing else..I can get a story I'm writing out of my brain...*
