I'm SO sorry I've been absent for so long. Somehow the watch on this topic got turned off or something, and I, being stupid as always, didn't think to check. I'm SO sorry, and I'll try not to do it again.

~~~~
I woke up from dozing when I heard the comotion outside the door. What in the world was going on?
"Casius...hurt...sorry...apologize," was all I heard. The demon was hurt? I wasn't going to say I was sorry for him.
But he had been nice, so...
I pushed up on the bed, amazed at how easy it was to move after resting just a little bit. I swung my legs over the side of the bed slowly, noticing that instead of the tattered breeches I had been wearing when I was attacked, I now was wearing soft, gray cotton ones. Funny I hadn't noticed it before.
I stood up, and realized there was nothing wrong with my legs. Well, except for my ankle. It hurt, just a little, just enough to make walking not the most pleasant thing in the world.
I almost decided to stay, but I wanted to know what had happened, and I wanted to know why I had been alone so long, and I wanted to be near my safe-one.
So, slowly, I limped to the door, and opened it.
Raxven was sitting, holding Ms. Elizabeth, who looked so beautiful. I must have stepped on a creaky floorboard, because both of them looked up at me at the same time.
~~~~~~~~
Sorry for the randomness and absence.

Naomi~

Naomi stood up and paced, her blue tinted, yet still white, fur glimmering in the moonlight. "Will you calm down?!" Keira snarled.

"How can I?! Casius almost died! All because of some stupid human!" Naomi snapped in reply and ruffled her fur.

"Then go back to the house and make sure he's okay!" Keira argued.

"No! I'll just be in the way like always!" Naomi growled and sat down.

"Idiot."

"Dog." Naomi snickered and Keira shut hisd mouth. Naomi lept to the branch on one of the trees, staring at the slowly rising sun.

Raxven-

I glanced up at the sound of a floorboard creaking quietly. Fyn stood in the doorway, eyes wide.

"How do you feel?" I asked, still stroking Blair's hair absently.

His eyes shifted to the left, then the right. "Better than before."

I chuckled, looking the young boy over. He did look better. His cheeks had a healthy flush to them, his eyes were bright, and he moved with only a slight limp.

"Let me see what I can do about that ankle," I said, motioning for him to stand in front of me. He did as asked, wincing slightly at every other step. I knelt down next to him and gently touched his ankle, murmuring the words that would heal it. After a moment I glanced up and nodded, resuming my seat next to Blair.

"Better?"

He nodded.

"Good. That's the last bit of healing I'm going to be able to handle tonight without collapsing from exhaustion, so I'm not letting any of you out of my sight."

Blair-

She could see the sun rising outside the window and got an unpleasant feeling in her stomache, she didn't want to go back. She stood and walked into the kitchen and asked Raxven to follow her. When they were out of earshot she said quietly.
"Let me stay with you."
"What?" He leaned back against the counter.
"Let me stay with you, no one will find me, no one knows I am here. They will think I have run away, they will look far and not here. Then when they stop searching we can leave."
"What if they want to search every house and inch of the town?" He struggled to keep his voice low.
"I will hide." She was begging now, holding his hand, batting her eyelashes. She would cry if she needed to. He didn't like it when she cried. He furrowed his brow in thought and exhaustion. She leaned in and kissed him, running her fingers through is hair, whispering how perfect it would be in his ear.

Raxven-

I sighed, giving in.

"Alright," I whispered. "You can stay, but you're risking all our necks. And I won't be around all the time to protect you, either. There's still a war going on, and I'm sill one of the army's only magic-users, so I'll be gone a lot the next few days. Casius will be weak as well, if he even regains consciousness before we leave."

"I understand," she murmured softly.

"And we're still leaving the day we agreed. No sooner. It would be too dangerous."

"I'll protect her." I spoke up.
I didn't know who she needed protection from, or why, but if someone was trying to hurt her, I would be the first one to fight them.
~~~~
Sorry, short. Fyn just wanted to get his two-cents in. :) When are we (I assume Fyn's coming?) leaving exactly?
**We're leaving the day after the wedding is planned to be, which is probably set for about three days away. But something can happen to force us to leave earlier.** **I apologize in advance for the long post. I just wanted to add in a bit about Raxven and Casius's past.*
Casius-
"Casius!"
I groaned and turned over. "Go 'way."
Something landed next to me and began to shake my shoulder. "C'mon Casius, get up! There's someone here to see us!"
"Mmm, huh?"
"Wake
up!" the voice repeated more forcefully. Whatever had been next to me was now practically bouncing on top of me. "Gosh, you're so lazy."
I opened my eyes. A young, curious face hovered inches from mine, shaggy dark brown hair hanging loose, framing the laughing blue eyes of a child. The child I did
not want to see at that moment.
"What do you want, Rax? I was busy."
He snorted, tugging on my wrist. "Guess you'll just have to come and see!" he cried in his own personal 'annoy Casius to no end' sing-song voice.
I gave in and allowed myself to be led out of the room, only dressed in a pair of loose black pants. My hair was sticking out in every direction known to man, and then some. Dark bags had formed under my eyes from staying up with the kid the night before, trying to 'hunt ghosts' using his newly acquired magic skills. We hadn't found anything, of course, but even now I was bound to do as he asked.
He pulled me into the only decently furnished room in the house, sitting me down across from two richly dressed men. I scratched my head and yawned.
"Anything I can help you with?" I asked casually, not even bothering to look at the kid who was bouncing up and down in his chair faster than the untrained eye could follow.
"Are you the guardian of him?" one man asked, waving a hand at the blur seated in the chair next to me.
"I suppose so. Why?"
"He is summoned to the royal palace to be trained as a war wizard. From there he will be transfered to the army and will be held in the highest respect. You can accompany him, of course. From what I understand you are...a fire-demon, correct?"
"Way to cut to the chase. It doesn't matter what I am, because Kid here isn't going. Even if he
was cut out for war."
"Aw, but Casius! I-"
"Good, then we'll see you at the palace in two days time. Thank you for your cooperation."
"But I-"
I sat up with a groan, my hand going instinctively to the place on my neck where I had been cut. It was gone now, a long scar the only sign that it had ever happened.
So I was home. Swinging my legs over the side of the bed, I shoved the dream - or memory, rather - aside and made my way out of the room.
Raxven-
I chuckled. "You can try, but I doubt there would be much a young boy could do against anyone who might be after me. At the least they would send a magic-user of equal power. Who knows what the worst could be..."
I smiled at him. "But I appreciate the thought, young one."
Just then Casius came striding out of the room, glancing around nonchalantly as though nothing had happened. I knew this attitude well. He didn't like to admit that I had saved his life...again.
Blair-
Blair stiffled a yawn, glad to see Casius up and moving.
"How are you feeling?" she asked.
He mumbled a responce still rubbing his neck. She was in a good mood now that she was staying. She looked over at Raxven who looked exhausted.
"You should rest."
"As should you."
"I'm fine." she reassured him halfheartedly.
Naomi~
Naomi lept off the branch just as the sun rose a tad bit highed and ran towards the house Casius was in, Keira not far behind her. She rapped on the door, transforming into her regular form and paced back and forth in a tight line.
****I forgot about this. Alright, the army will reach the city in 3 DAYS. Aedomir has just reached the city and is talking with the king of the city.****
I ran up the steps, pressing against my feet. Two guards stood either side of the grand doors, with crossed spears. "You require counsel with the king?" one asked.
"Yes," I said. "A matter of ugence, please let me pass."
"The king is busy."
"Please - there is an army-"
The other guard lowered his spear. "An amy, eh?" They both turned, and began speaking amongst themselves. Then, they looked at me. "You may pass."
I hurried by, and heard my feet echo as I entered the great hall.
Raxven-
I smiled at Blair. "If you're fine, then I must be absolutely great. Come on, we should all-"
A loud knock sounded on the door. Stifling a sigh, I waved my hand in its general direction and watched in satisfaction as it swung open to reveal one of the girls from earlier. Naomi, she said her name was.
"Yes?"
"How is Casius?" she asked, stepping inside, followed by a large tiger.
"You can ask him for yourself," I answered, gesturing to where Casius stood, arms folded against his chest. He grunted a greeting.
"Be nice, Cas. She saved your life, remember," I scolded.
"Thanks."
I glanced back at the girl. "Sorry about him. He's never been very appreciative about much of anything before. You're more than welcome to stay the night here," I said, smiling. "If you can find the room. As far as I know, the couch is open."
Blair-
Blair walked into the bedroom shortly followed by Raxven. She was trying to convince him she didn't need sleep but he wouldn't hear it. She layed down next to him on the bed falling alseep moments after her head was on the pillow, Raxven's face the last thing she saw.
Raxven-
I chuckled quietly as Blair fell asleep almost as soon as she laid down. Naomi had taken the couch, Fyn had taken the bed where Casius had recovered, and Casius had swore that he would rather sleep on the roof than with any of us (and so he was).
I sighed and allowed my eyes to close for the amount of time they would be allowed. Tomorrow would be yet another pointless battle. I was debating on whether or not to take Casius with me with his neck, but I knew I would have no choice in the end.
Yawning, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Naomi~
Naomi groaned inwardly and stared at the ceiling. Tomorrow her brothers would be going into another battle and she'd have to be at hom to fix their pointless dinner. Where are you?! Her brother broke in, his voice echoing loudly through her mind.
At a friends. She replied with a sigh.
Well, come home! Her other brother broke in.
Why?! She whined.
Cause, we're all going to fight tomorrow!
Fine, whatever.
Naomi stood up, folding up the blanket she had. She quickly found an ink quill and a piece of paper. Thanks! ~Naomi. She wrote on the paper and layed it on the blanket. She silently snuck out of the house, running next to Keira and eventually jumping on his back when he got quicker than her.
Once they got to the house her brothers threw her her blades and ran at her with their own, doing that through the night.
Ya'll wanna start this up again? If you don't, then just ignore this post. :)
Fyn
~~~
I woke to a loud banging outside. I sat up quickly, rubbing a hand across my face as I stood to my feet.

"Easy, young one. It's just Casius falling off the roof." I spun around when I heard Raxven. He was standing, smiling slightly, and in full battle-garb.

"Alright, Fyn. I need you to stay here and watch over Ms. Elizabeth, alright? Can you do that? I'll be back soon, understand?" he said.

"Where are you going?" I asked, resisting the urge to grab his arm and make him stay.

"I...out. I'll be back soon, okay?"

I sighed softly, nodding. He smiled.

"I'll be back soon. Promise." he said, and turned to go, running into the demon in the process. Casius had come through the door a moment earlier.

The demon said nothing, just glared at us both and turned to walk back out the door.

Raxven looked at me and shrugged slightly. I did the same back to him, making him chuckle.

"Watch over Elizabeth for me, alright?" he said as he left.

"Yes, sir." I murmured.
~~~~
Ok, slightly odd and random, but I really miss this thing. Again, if you don't wanna start again, just ignore me.
