Astoria-
Azael looked about ready to explode. It was frightening to see him so angry, sparks nearly flying from his eyes. Astoria didn’t understand why he was so upset, if anyone could lead them out it would probably be him.
Tadhg frowned and interrupted them “Azael, why can’t you lead?”
Azael turned from glaring at Gerain to glare at him, and though Tadhg turned a bit red he continued.
“I mean, it’s nothing to fight over. You obviously know something that we don’t, so what is wrong?”
Azael took a step toward Tadhg, who stood his ground, growing redder.
“You don’t understand.” He leaned forward so he and Tadhg were only inches apart, “The chance of dying would be even greater if I led.”
Tadhg looked like he was trying to stay calm under Azael’s furious glare.
“I think you’re scarred.” Astoria cut in, looking away as if she were talking to herself.
“Being scarred has nothing to do with it.”
She glanced at Azael to see he was now focused on her.
“Yeah, sure” she said, then looking away she muttered under her breath “scarred”
Tadhg nearly snorted, and Azael was fuming.
