I suppose it's time for Nettie to lose her phone then...

Cornetia

"Where is it?" Cornetia demanded, rummaging through her handbag.

"Where's what, Nettie?" Angela asked slowly, her voice only sounding half sincere as she tugged absently at a coil of chocolate hair.

"My phone!" Cornetia snapped. "Help me find it." The girl pushed her bag towards Angela and then turned to a blond boy who had just entered the classroom.

"You! Search my desk!" Cornetia ordered, slipping her hands into her pockets, starting to look frantic. "It has to be here somewhere..."

"Huh... for what?" The confused boy asked. Sighing in irritation, Cornetia turned and forced her eyes to run with tears and her lip to wobble.

"Someone has t...t...taken my phone," she wept. "And I need it to call my aunt."

yep, all brilliant ideas. I think the missing people could be a back story to why everything is going missing, and Nettie needs her phone to contact her Aunt desperately because she is worried that she might be next.

Is this following a plan, or do I just post whenever?

Happy belated birthday! Hope you had a lovely day.Tell me if this is very wrong...

Clarisse

I rolled my eyes at the latest "drama" taking place two seats in front of me. I wasn't sure why I'd bothered to come in at all. The whole thing was an exercise in futility. I didn't understand why no one else had realized this. "If it's gone, it's gone."I muttered, not caring whether or not I was heard. I tugged hard on a couple of strands of my purple hair, enjoying the sharp prickel at my scalp. Yes, I hadn't quite slipped away from reality just yet. Not that time seemed to be moving forward.

I glanced at the clock above the blackboard. The black second hand was shuddering forward. An illusion, at best, I was sure. Time was stagnating. I stood up, wondering why I'd bothered coming in at all. The old bat who they had teaching us this term had probably fallen ill. It was painful to sit there amid all the high pitched chatterings of my classmates. Besides, what if that boy jumped while I was just sitting there, waiting for absolutely nothing to happen? Not that this sort of thing could be prevented, besides, some pain was too great to bear, but I needed to see it. I needed to feel the scream echoing in my brain. (He would scream, surely?) That was the sort of reality which would make everything stop seeming so surreal, so incosequnetial. I wondered if I'd cry. The tears could spill down into the ocean, and merge with the seawater. They'd become something more, something bigger, but what would they be in and of themselves? Nothing, most likely.

I got to my feet and made for the door, attempting to look ill (though my face powder did help in this) in case anyone saw me leaving. I wasn't in the mood for a pointless conversation with whoever I may encounter. Indeed, I wasn't in the mood for much of anything at all.

Hi Jasmine, no this hasn't died. I've been very busy with schoolwork and my mum banned me from coming on here for two weeks. Sorry. I really do like your Clarisse though, she's great!

I stood at the other side of the room with Flora watching Cornetia frantically search her pockets. It was better than watching any comedy on the Dust box including the R.U.B.Y channel created especially for all the old sitcoms Mum and Dad used to watch, particularly re-runs of The Bouncin' Beans of Beanstalk. Cornetia then hollered to Kellerina or Flavia, (one of the two, anyway) to search her desk. I knew exactly where her phone was, but I wasn't about to tell her. Not after what she did to Clarisse...

That's my paragraph for today

Sorry it's taken so long to get back on track. GCSEs and everything.

Cornetia

"It was you, ewasn't it!" Cornetia decided, confronting pathetic little Cindy. She blinked as if to say 'who me?' and immediately had the whole class on her side.

"Of course it wasn't!" Flora said which was promptly followed up by Fauna and Felicia.

"Oh dear, I think you must be mistaken," Fauna suggested.

"Evil hag," Felicia whispered. Nettie wrinkled her nose and sniffed in disdain almost forgetting that she was supposed to be upset. Except that she really was. Stupid Cindy Windy always getting it her way, always turning everyone against her.

"It's just the thing she'd do," Cornetia sobbed. "And now I can't call my aunt oh whatever shall I do?" She cried more as her brain tried to calculate another way in which to get in touch with her aunt and find out why children were disappearing, if it was going to happen to her and if not, why not? Maybe if I ask enough questions she'll even let me help out because she must have something to do with it and if children are disappearing, maybe they will be my friends.

"Don't worry Nettie, I'll searcgh Cinder's bag," Flavia offered.
