The Life and Times of Miss Aurora Beaumont (and friends)

Hello, I'm Holly, and this is my Storybook. It is based on my story 'The Life and Times of Aurura Beaumont 'and Friends' but I would like to create different adventures involving characters:

The Characters:

Aurora Beaumont (that's me)
Flora Clearwing-beautiful and smart
Fauna Dott-dotty, but friendly. Loves animals.
Felicia (Fliss) Merryweather-tomboy
Cornetia Blackthorn-Mallory's evil and spiteful niece. Very pretty in a misleading way.
Mallory Dragoncort-Blackthorn-Evil sorceress
Clarisse Fairwater-the real little mermaid. An emo, obsessed with suicide and death.
Ellacinda (Cindy) Ashe- sweet, pathetic, loyal
Snow-White (Snowy) Prince- hypchondriac, but a loyal and just friend.
Philip Samson-handsome, brave, strong (the usual Prince-type)
Kellerina and Flavia-Cindy's stepsisters
Manzana-Snowy's stepmother, Mallory's sister

Maki-Chan - I think your character needs to be from a fairytale if you're creating your own.

Name= Cornetia Blackthorn
Nickname= Nettie or Nettle
Age= 16
Appearance= She is very pretty with long, ebony hair, dark indigo eyes and a slim but curvy figure. She wears revealing clothing, swaying as she walks. She likes to be looked at and her features are often enhanced by a light coating of make-up.
Personality= She's awful. She's proud and boastful, spiteful, nasty and used to getting her own way.
History= She has lived with her aunt since her parents died seven years ago and has become the sorceress' apprentice. She dabbles in strong love potions and binding charms, always in search of the perfect man.
Other= Secretly, Nettie is lonely and many of her dark plans are an attempt to create herself friends but she doesn't understand the barriers of good and evil and she doesn't understand that love can't be bought or created. She currently has several people trapped by her enchantments but longs for stronger bonds and relationships.

Can I have Flora?

Wow, thanks everyone. The plot is that Aurora will die if she is pricked by a thorn THIS CANNOT HAPPEN YET. I also forgot to mention that everyone is in the same year at school and are either 14, 15, or 16., as the year is split into Lower and Upper.
Kitty15, your profile for Cornetia is absolutely correct. Cornetia is the 'baddie' but perhaps we will see her softer side? She does fancy philip but he's not interested in her. The three F's, Flora, Fauna and Felicia protect Aurora and help her out of trouble when possible. May I also remind everyone who is going to create their own character that IT HAS TO LINK TO A FAIRYTALE! For example, Cindy is from Cinderella, and Aurora is from Sleeping Beauty. We are making this up as we go along.
Felicia is feisty, talkative, smart and has a dry sense of humour. She is amused at jokes which could offend others. She is her own girl and hates to be considered as part of a 'social clique', and doesn't get on with Cornetia AT ALL!

Is my Grey ok?

Of course Stella. I hope you enjoy writing as her. She is a great character with a lot to do. Could you possibly add a little profile, just so I know where I stand as regards to the story and stuff. As regards to Grey, yes she is a good character, but what fairytale is she from? Remember the rules, NEW CHARACTERS MUST BE FROM A FAIRYTALE!

BTW, in my head, whenever I thought of my own Sleeping Beauty I called her Flica (because she was supposed to have twenty one names anad I thought those could be the initials of the first five...)

Name: Flora Clearwing.

Age: 15

Appearance: (correct me if I'm wrong, especially the wings- was it Flora who had them? Are they natural? If not I'll edit).Flora has the long golden hair and cornflower blue eyes that are usual to her faerie race. She also has a set of beautiful wings, a rarity in Ruby Wonder Academy. She knows that she is envied for them.

Personality: Flora is the clever one. She's the one that harnesses Fauna's ideas and puts them into action. She's the organised one. She loves her role in the group and is willing to do anything for her friends.

This looks interesting. I'm torn between Mallory and Clarisse...Think I'd like Clarisse, if that's alright...does she have to be an actual mermaid, or can I just make water associations?

Name= Clarisse Fairwater
Nickname= Clar
Age= 15
Appearance= Very skinny, some may say too much so, very dark purple hair, down to her waist. Naturally, her hair covers her right eye. The eye which can be seen is dark blue, and the rim is grey. She wears a long purple skirt, a black and purple checked shirt with long sleeves, and doc martins (assuming she's allowed to have feet). She wears a silver chain around her neck, from which a tear drop hangs. She wears lots of black kohl under her visible eye. She powders her face to hide her freckles, and wears purple lipstick.
Personality= Pessimistic and skeptical. She hides behind her darkness in order to protect herself, and talks about pain and death without ever having grasped what it constitutes of. She has fallen in love (as she understands it) with a boy whose name she doesn't know, who, by night, comes and stands alone on a cliff above the ocean, where she likes to swim, stands for a while on the edge, and then turns around and leaves after an hour or so has passed.
History= Clarisse lives with her father. Her mother died giving birth to her. She doesn't feel any loss or grief at this, having never known her, and knowing few people besides who have two parents, but she feels she should feel sad over it and so forces herself into feigned depression every so often. She likes to paint, (she's talented but doesn't experiment) and imagines life is much worse than it actually is, often allowing her imagination to run away with her.
Other= She can often be very lethargic. She doesn't have any close friends as they find her constant "misery" hard to bear, and she is tormented by a girl named Regina, and her friends, because they think she's strange. This, obviously, does nothing to improove her outlook on the world.

Is that ok?

Thanks everyone, and yes every character so far has been okay. I like the profile for Clarisse and I was thinking that perhaps Regina could be the famous Queen of Hearts, who competes with Cornetia for Top Villainess? I also like the profile for Flora. It is true, she is a natural leader and I hope you, Stella, enjoy writing about her. She does have tiny wings as she's not an adult, but remember, she is slightly scared of heights.
Do we have any boys for Philip and Charmin and all that lot? Does anyone want to volunteer?
You can be a maximum of two characters, however they cannot both be main as this would not be fair. If you want another character, PM me and let me know.
The first entry to the Storybook will be set when Cornetia's purse goes missing and the blame is pinned upon Cindy. Any takers for Cindy? Flora, Aurora, Fauna and Fliss have to work together to discover the culprit. This is just a shrewd idea, but does anyone have a better suggestion for an opening chapter?

Jasmine, you can make water associations if you prefer, but there is one detail I missed out. Clarisse has webbed feet, because although she is a mermaid, she needs to walk on land, and so her feet are like normal humans, but webbed, like a frog.
Everything about Clarisse is deep and dark (like the ocean, he he) and she is a very deep character with strong thoughts and feelings. Remember, you don't have to follow the true fairytale plot, although it would be nice if we could, and the original story of the little mermaid tells us that the mermaid killed herself becuase she couldn't bear to kill the prince. I'm not saying you should follow this, but it does explain why Clarisse is an emo in some ways.
